The table was getting crowded so Vasara took the table next to them and positioned it next to their own table to get some more room. He couldn't have cared less on the objections of the customers, not even when he returned and took the then-occupied chairs too. He ordered few more beers, giving stare filled with promise of Hurt to customers staring at him, and returned to the table. Karin's presence was nagging in the back of his head but he decided to give her a chance. Maybe he was getting old, after all.
"The library is getting filled with new blood. We move here, I can't take another night knowing those wimps and whiners are sleeping in the same building." Vasara said with a blunt voice to Nad and Saxon "At least here you get to sleep without some new face running into your room and asking stupid questions. And you can earn some money for yourselves and kill the time when we are not hunting. Danny can take care of the new faces from now on."
"About Karin... No idea. She just dropped in."

Saxon almost sprayed his Lager across the table as the image of Nadya in a tight white blouse and short skirt serving beer to the customers with a smile on her face.
He could not resist, "You know boss Nadya would look so cute in one of those uniforms you got your barmaids in." Although he mentally added the first time some one grabbed her ass she would likely try and ram his head through the table.
"I suppose it is bouncer for me then."

"Hey! I look cute no matter what I wear. Not sure how well it would go with the bloodstains though." Nadya rolled with it at first, instead of immediately shooting back. "But I'm not sure you look tough enough to be a bouncer. You would do so much better as a stripper in a fag bar. I bet guys would die crawling over each over for a feel of your bulge." She takes a slurp of whatever beer she's drinking, as she has trouble keeping a straight face while she's taking the piss. "But I've got a job and a flat anyway, freelancer work. I just hang around the library when it's convenient."

Karin returned from the bathroom, wearing the new old clothes. She hadn't taken the time to dedicate them yet, but she would probably have time for that later. She sat down at the table with the three Garou as they talked about jobs.
"So, tell me something," she said, noting the absence of the charming young metis. "Do you know what the rest of your pack is doing right now?"

Vasara shook his head and closed his eye tightly. "Thanks for the image, Nadezhda. No sleep for me tonight." Vasara opened his eye after shaking the image, looked at Saxon and laughed.
"Bouncer would be fine, I could pay you for NOT dancing and undressing. You seen Dieter at the door? He knows the faces and also some deeper shit about the most troublesome customers." he said to Saxon.
"Rest of the Pack?" Vasara looked around "Not here, I suppose. How come?"

Saxon laughed, "You are right there Nadya, you do look cute all the time. But you really must get your subconscious mind under control, it is slipping in words that are letting everyone know about your obsession with my body." He glanced down and then winked at her. "Or one part at least."
He them turned his attention to Vasara, "Got it, see Dieter at the door. He can fill in me on who to smack and how hard." He shook his head, "I think the Rat is dying to tell us something but is prating around instead of doing so."

"Yeah yeah, if you got your head in the game you wouldn't need rats coming down here to tell you things now, would you?" Karin said to Saxon in a tone that suggested a kindergarten teacher talking to her student.
"While you've been sitting in your Library pretending to read," she continued. "We've been betrayed by one of our rats. What's more, he's been leading the Easties to your doors. That's how they found your kin. And that's how they found your kid too. You've been leading them home without even knowing it."

"Oh really? You're the one playing dress-up games in your head." Nadya's laugh trails off as the rat finally stops pratting about. "Well thanks a bunch for leaving traitors in our midst. Much appreciated."

Vasara looked at Nadezhda and Saxon having their little verbal duel and grinned. It was good to see the Pack was getting along, especially Nadezhda had caused some worries on Vasara's mind with her behaviour when she had arrived to the caern for the first time.
Isn't this wonderfull... Vasara looks Karin again, wondering the driving motive of this rat. She warned them of the bomb recently, and even before that she has helped them from time to time. And still, she once tried to fight Vasara and seems to be openly hostile most of her time. What the hell is going on in the rats mind?
"Is your traitor dead already or is he still leading Easties across the Wall?" Vasara asked with low, quiet voice "...you really make the idea of stealing a gasoline-truck, spilling the gas into the sewers and throwing in some fire after it sound like a really good idea to make sure no-one comes up to threaten our families. These Easties attack our kin as they seem to be cowards enough to avoid us, and even then one of our kin managed to kill one." Vasara emptied his beer before continuing. "You brought us this information, now is time for your motive for sharing this info. You clearly want us to do something, you wouldn't have told us that you have a traitor otherwise."

"First off, tell your wench to be quiet when the grown-ups are talking," Karin said. "She seems to have forgotten that it was your lot who brought the Easties into our sewers and had them kidnap our kind and turn them to the Spiral. Second, the Easties aren't using the sewers. They've found some other way, and it's worrying. Gabriel is leading them to your homes, but not across the wall. He's alive, and I'm going to find him, and kill him. And third..."
Karin pulled an amber talisman from her pocket and held it up for Vasara. It was the Monkey Puzzle he had given Anna for her rite of passage, and it was stained with blood. "Your girl dropped this when they smashed her face against the wall," she said.

Nadya considers a succinct reply for a few seconds, then just decides to swing the glass of beer towards Karin's face. Probably for her own good as much as Karin's, Nadya does at least keep hold of the glass and just lets the beer fly out in Karin's direction.

Saxon let her tone go past him like water off a duck's back as he listened to the Rat. He noted how she did not actually answer Vasara's question as to what she wanted. Rather she told them about the traitor and showed them the monkey puzzle. The only she and kid they had was Anna so it seemed like they had her.
For a moment he considered that it was some kind of scam being run by the Rat in regard to Anna. Then decided it was unlikely, Vasara was not noted for his sense of humour or letting an insult go. It really would be toasty Rat time in Berlin if she was trying to scam him.
Then Nadya demonstrated her diplomatic charms by trying to brain the rat with her beer mug. Although that she actually just threw beer somewhat surprised Saxon. His rule was when you hit someone you hit them hard with the intention that they did not get up from it. He had presumed she thought the same.
He remained seated though, this was Vasara's call, stop the fight or let the two women go at it. He did glance around though for Kamut, once Vasara had the information he would want to be on the move and Kamut better be right all there with them.

"They get across the Wall without running through sewers? How? Are there routes through Umbra or does the crab-demon let them through?"
"That belongs to Anna. I will return that to it's rightful owner." Vasara raised his hand at held it under Karins hand, he didn't want to snatch the Fetish by force, he decided to let Karin drop it to him if she was going to return it to him. He watched the bloodstains. "Is she ok? Do you know where she is right now?"
The flying beer was something Vasara didn't expect to see right now but now that it was in the air, there was not much he could do about it. He stared both Karin and Nadezhda and growled through his teeth "This is my place, my den. You want to fight, you go outside. If you start a fight inside when humans are around, I will break the skulls of both of you."
Then he looked at Nadezhda "That is Anna's neclace. It used to belong to me. She wouldn't have parted with it without a fight and Karin seems to know what happened and where it happened. We will have a long and hard discussion..." Vasara avoided the word 'talk' on purpose "...if your temper just costed us her life."
Then he looked again Karin "You forgot to mention what was your purpose of giving us this information?"

"Hmph, ungrateful as usual," Karin said, wiping the beer off her face. She dropped the Monkey Puzzle into Vasara's hand. She considered setting Nadya's head on fire for a while, but now wasn't the time. She needed something. The colony needed something. She continued calmly. "That crab-demon eats everyone and everything, even the banes around it. I don't think even they dare go near it. If it wasn't your guardians or our sewers, it must have been a human leak."
She shrugged, not quite concerned about Anna's fate. It wasn't the first time she'd gotten herself caught. "I don't know what happened to her," she said. "Easties ran off with her when we arrived, and we lost their trail somewhere near the main road. They must've had a car. They killed the man she lives with. Chewed him up pretty badly."
Now for purpose. Of course she had one. "We have a common enemy running loose in the West Side," Karin said with a conspiratorial tone. "I think it's time you called a hunt on this fellow and his new pet. And when you find him, rip him apart, but leave Gabriel to us. He has a lot to answer for."

Nadya looks at Vasara, shrugs and puts down the empty glass. Karin had run her mouth off, now she has a facefull of beer, Nadya's happy with that. "Or they flew a balloon over the wall." In light of recent events, the idea probably doesn't sound as ludicrous as it usually would.
