To make the whole ruse look a little more realistic Middle Born snapped and bit at the fox woman, just close enough to cover for the wounds but not close enough to actually cause her damage.
And this creature thought her stupid….still at least it was a link to the outside and the lupus knew not to burn bridges…
“Thank you for coming, but you not know how bad, I think, it is really bad here. And not so easy to get out or I would have done.”

For a long time nothing happened. Wolf and Fox stared at each other, and waited. They could not hear the commotion that was going on on the other side, nor could they see Akio's confusion.
At long last, the door was unlocked and two men stood in the doorway. One was Akio, looking flustered and rather confused, and with him was the guard, now holding a long white stick. Middle Born, of course, recognised this stick immediately. They hit her with it, and when they did, it sent shocks through her body and rendered her motionless. She really didn't want to be hit with this stick again.
"Sakura, how did you get in here? What has that wolf done to you?" He looked utterly confused, and rather suspicious. He didn't step into the cell, but hung back by the door and let the guard do the work of subduing the wolf.

This had been done many times to her, and Middle Born knew that as soon as she pretended to attack the fox woman that she would have the pain stick and worse than usual. Still perhaps it might mean that the woman or fox or whatever she was would see that it was not easy to escape and perhaps she might learn something of the veil. Perhaps they did not have a litany and so maybe she did not understand.
The black wolf hated this, it hurt and it made her angry it too all her will to keep from changing and attacking, yet as she had always done the wolf did as was expected. She became submissive however much she hated it. All that Middle Born hoped was that the woman would show more sense than she had thus far.
As it was the lupus found this very demeaning ad degrading but it had become necessary. She knew however she must trust in Grandfather Thunder and in Gaia and in doing so she would become free.

A thousand plans raced through her mind, but the addition of the guard, changed quite a few. She still planned on one, but now wasn't the time. So, she ran to Akio and sagged into his arm the minute she got there. Acting as if she was too weak to speak. This would spare her answering questions right away, and while the guard dealt with the wolf. And once they were away from the guard...Akio was going to have a 'visitation' of the 'spiritual kind.
The though almost made her grin, and she was hard pressed not too, else she ruin her ruse.

Akio still surprised and suspicious, but as she sagged into his arms he pulled her out of the cell, forgetting momentarily that she had no business being in there. It was the guard who called her up on that. He didn't seem to want to hurt the wolf, he only used the stick as a precaution. In fact, he was angier at Sakura.
"How did you manage to get in here?" he asked sternly. "You do not have authorisation to be in here. I am the only one who can open this door. How did you make it through?"

Still leaning into Akio, she began to speak her voice soft, hypnotic and she used her training and a story teller to weave a tale. "Long ago there was a maiden who was trapped in a tower..." She continued on and as she did, she wove into it a feeling of guilt, for holding the wolf, and sympathy for its plight, and she talked about freedom. This was her power, the ability to influence the mind with the the tales of old, and encourage the listeners to lean towards the line of thought she wanted them too. Please Emerald Mother, let this work.
With her words she weaved weaved the tale, conjuring up visuals and putting them 'into the story she wove. all the while watching to two from the corner of her eye.

Akio looked down at her with surprise at first, but it quickly turned into understanding. Suddenly, a look of guilt and sadness replaced the surprise and he looked up at the guard.
"She is right, we have been cruel to keep it here," he said quietly. To their immense surprise, the guard nodded. "It won't be that easy to get her back into the wild," he said. "They have paid a lot of money for this research. We won't even get out the front door with all my colleagues standing guard." He thought about it for a while. "Maybe the emergency transport. Yes that could work. We will need a distraction though."

Looking up at the two, she marshaled hr face into one of gratitude. Perhaps if we simply pull a fire alarm...and that will send everyone to that area to investigate? " She was actually thinking a real fire, but didn't want to push her luck and make them do something that was objectionable to their nature. "Or maybe...she is being transported to another facility for tests...surely we can make papers for that, and then not have to hurt or damage this fine facility. And with papers neither of you would get in trouble either" At least til someone figured out the were not legitimate. But she and the wolf would hopefully be long gone.
Hopefully by showing she was concerned about them and their place of employment would further influence them. But she knew they were under her "spell" as it were from their responses, but always best to not force or cause 'bad' things to happen when people were under the influence.

Middle born lay for a little while, her breathing a little shallow, the sensation of the prod was uncomfortable, and it was more that her pride had been hurt than anything else. The knives and the cutting and the needles were worse, but even that the black wolf could handle….what was worse far worse was being locked in here far from her home, far from her pack, to be left alone without air or space or a pack, it was that which had driven her close to the edge.
She was thus far a little too distracted to here the story, though she certainly sensed the magic within the fox woman’s voice.
Middle Born saw the open door, all her instincts told her to run, her heart and sprit cried for her to escape, yet her head was wiser and the human hidden deep within spoke quietly reminding her of caution, reminding her that patience was the way. If she could have that, then perhaps this fox woman would get her out…
Her breathing slowed a little and she watched, and listened, remaining for now the cowed wolf.

The guard shook his head. "I'm just in charge of the wolf's well-being and safety," said the guard. "And to make sure it doesn't eat the researchers. I can't authorise a sudden move." He seemed to be willing to help, but not go as far as risking his job. He looked at Akio questioningly. "Well," Akio pushed his glasses further up his nose nervously. "A fire alarm could work. That would lead to an evacuation and then we could smuggle the wolf out. But but what of the security cameras? Surely, we could get into serious trouble if and when we are found out."

"They would evacuate the place and leave a specimen like this behind? Surely there is a protocol to et her out as well, like with one of the long polls with the nose at the end?" She was beginning to really wonder about the intelligence of these two. Of course the guard was little more than a hired thug, but Akio...he was supposed to be smart. "A pity Akio can't make such papers up, being a researcher and all." She smiled at him coyly at him, all the while wishing his ancestors really were tossing about in their graves over his actions.

"No ma'am, in such a case, it'd be my job and my colleague's to get the wolf to safety," the guard said importantly. "We are standing in full view of the hallway's surveillance system. If we are to start anything here, we would be seen." Finally, he closed the door on the wolf, leaving Middle Born once again on her own with no idea what is going on. Akio interjected. "If we were to start a distraction of sorts," he said. "Like a fire, it would have to be big enough to force an evacuation." He sounded a little excited at the prospect. "I am not in charge of the lab. I would need many signatures before I could authorise a move. I might take days, even if it works."

Patting Akio on the cheek she smiled at him, "Well I think I can manage something then. If you two darling gentlemen would wait here a bit and be ready?" She had a few ideas...some just plain boring, some a bit more interesting and daring. The one she dearly wanted to do...she couldn't and wouldn't. After all the garou did like their privacy and running amok as a large fox in the labs would really tip these silly monkeys that there was something out there. So instead she made her way back to the ladies room, once there she looked into the trash can at the stack of paper in there. "How about a little fire Scarecrow..." As she grinned wickedly. reaching into her purse, handy things those, she pulled out a book of matches. Striking one, she dropped it into the waste, watching to make sure it took off. She sighed happily as the flames began to grow, and then turned and left the room. But one fire wouldn't be enough, oh no, they needed more. So without a second thought she went into the men's restroom to repeat the process. (Will stop here as she will hit several restrooms and make the fires 'spread out" but St may have something to say )

Before either of them can stop her, Sakura runs off to the single toilet on this floor to set the fire. The tin container is set ablaze without much trouble, but before she can really get it to spread, the sprinklers are set off and the Sakura is right back where she started. Except now she's very wet. "You're going to have to do much better than that if you want to force them to evac, you know," said a voice. Maybe it wouldn't have been that odd for there to be a voice in a lavatory, since Sakura hadn't actually checked if any of the stalls were occupied. The really strange thing was that the voice wasn't speaking German or Japanese, but Sakura still understood it.

Turning around she looked all over for the origin of the voice. "Who is there?" she asked as she began to peak under the stall doors, trying to see if there was another in the room with her. She really hadn't counted on the sprinklers, yes she knew she should have, but impulse was one of her 'bad' habits. besides she hated to sit and talk and debate things. That is what Humans did...and those born to the human form. Like a bunch of Jay birds squawking in the trees.
"Well who ever you are, short of running about and pulling alarms...So if you have a better one." As she wiped the water from her face.
