Danny couldn't help grin when Vasara and Saxon arrived. He was very relieved to see them, and even laughed at their debriefing.
"Good to see you didn't miss all the fun," he said. "Yeah he showed up with Kaleb, I think he was looking for you at the bar. Showed up just in the nick of time, too. Is he kin to you?"
Danny thought he should have known it. The accent, the temper, and the eagerness to rush into battle should have been dead giveaways. He looked at the notebook, knowing he wasn't exactly the guy to look into it. He turned to Edward. "By the way, this Edward. He's a Glasswalker from America, and Khristina is Rom, kin to the Silent Strider I sent after Anna and Kaleb," Vasara and Saxon had already given their introductions, but he elaborated a bit. "Vasara's the pack's Alpha, and Saxon is an acquaintance of mine from England. There's nobody better you'd want watching your back than these two."
Danny picked up the notebook and looked through its contents. It made no sense to him, but that didn't matter, because he wasn't thinking about the notebook, really. There were two more things on his mind. "The men who attacked us last night have Jan. If what you're saying about another laboratory is true, then I wouldn't be surprised if that's what they're after. We should get him back as soon as possible. What about Simeon and Anna, have you heard anything from them at all?"

Edward wasn't too surprised by the arrival of the two big burly Garou who entered later, Saxxon and Vasara. He had worked with similar types many times before when in the Middle East. His family liked to keep a few of those types around as security too, that reminds me my folks are supposed to be visiting some time soon. Hmmm could be interesting.
In German with an heavily Americanised accent ' Well met fellow Garou, pass over that notepad. I'm sure i can makes heads of it for you...Oh and those two other Garou you mentioned what did they look like? Cause if they are who i think you are talking about, i snapped a couple of shots of them when i left the the university the other day. I would have to go to my office to show you the photographs to confirm. But they appeared from the Umbra so I gather it was them.'
'And as for trying to track them down, I have connections that may be able to give us a lead or two. I also think we should do something with the security of this place, with my wealth and resources I'm sure we can keep it low key and secure.'
Edward thought to himself ' I think i will be in for some fun times here, only been here a day and we have already been attacked by the enemies of Gaia.'
With that said Edward offered some of his special Cuban cigars again to the new comers and continued to blow smoke rings into the air. He gingerly used his recovering arm to pull out his hip-flask and takes a sip of his whiskey as well between puffs.
Edward walks to the window and checks if his car is still in one piece as well.

What the Hell is that noise? Aleksi thought, still half-sleep, as the caern started to fill up with people. Can't they just shut up? He would have just grumbled a little more and kept sleeping if he hadn't recognised one of the voices. It was a bit deeper and rougher than he remembered, but it had been years since he had actually met him...
The caern was getting foul-smelling, the dried blood, old sweat and those damn cigars. Aleksi coughed, the kid in fancy suit didn't seem to care too much about tobacco-industries impact on Nature. He finally sat up, wiping his irritated eyes, and stared furiously Vasara. If you were just a man, I would beat you to a bloody pulp...
"We share the blood through our father." he replied to Danny before Tony had change to answer as he stood up. "Our father left my mother to raise him, as our blood was not 'pure enough'!" Aleksi had a turmoil of feelings running inside of him, and he had to take few deep breaths to calm his nerves down. Unfortunately only part of his anger seemed to go away.
"It seems he has inherited our fathers habits on taking care of his kin... Did you forgot it was you who asked me to come, and it was you who promised to pick me up from airport as you KNOW I hate cities..." he continued quietly, still staring at Vasara, making sure he didn't stare in his eyes for too long, last thing he wanted was a sound trashing for his words. But if it goes there, I will show him a trick or two...

"Not a word from Anna, and I think I haven't met this Simeon, so I really have no idea." Vasara was worried, as Anna's Rite of Passage was coming and he really would hate to lose her before she had been properly taken in Garou Nation.
"Every laboratory has employees and they need to get their equipment from somewhere. So we can track the place down, or at least to narrow the number of possible places down." Vasara said and nodded a greetings to Edward. Nice wound he's got. He really needs to learn to dodge. Vasara grinned to himself for a short moment before Aleksi got up. The moment Aleksi opened his mouth, Vasara's good mood was gone.
He just stared quietly at Aleksi as he was pouring his 'Life's Tragedy' in his face. When Aleksi got into part about Vasara's habits, he almost snapped. His posture changed into much more threatening one and he met Aleksi's words with icy stare. The stare turned into growl, and growling into words "You know nothing about what I have become and what my manners are now." he started "NOTHING!!"
"You are here, aren't you? So you managed to get your arse out of that plane and all the way down here! And what the hell is with all that whining? I am NOT our father!" Vasara roared "Did it ever occur in your mind that my life wasn't any easier than yours!? Did it ever occur in your mind that it might have been a GOOD thing to you and your mother that our father wasn't with you two? He was a fucking crazy old man who killed members of other Tribes because they were not 'Pure'! HE KILLED OTHER TRIBES KINFOLK BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT 'PURE'!!"
Vasara was sweating heavily as he clenched his fists and was shaking with anger, he closed his eyes and tried to push the anger away. He knew his reaction had been way too strong, and he knew his reaction had been too strong because Aleksi's every word had been truth.

Saxon looked at Vasara and then at Aleksi, family, none of his business then. Never get involved in a fight between women or family was a good rule of thumb. Although the kin seemed to be wearing the give me a smack because I deserve it sweatshirt all right. And by the look on Vasara's face that might not be that long in coming.
He waved away the cigar, "Don’t smoke thanks. Anyone care to tell me where I can find some food in this place. I am famished, anything will do, any bacon and bread, tomato ketchup? Nothing fancy, give me a frying pan and some lard and I am a cooking."

Danny glanced at Edward over by the window and wondered. He was indeed a very useful individual, and it was a strange coincidence that he had showed up just when they needed him the most. He wasn't so sure if he should trust the Glasswalker, which was strange because Danny wasn't usually the suspicious type.
"I could use a bite to eat myself. In fact, I think we could all use a late breakfast," Danny said, looking meaningfully at Vasara and Aleksi. He too knew better than to come between brothers when they were arguing, but he also knew they were all tired, and tired people have more trouble keeping their anger in control. "Come on, we've all had long and frustrating past couple of days. At least we're further ahead than when we started out yesterday morning," he thought for a while, then added softly. "None of us get to choose our parents, all we can do is aspire to be better than what they chose to become."
He led the way to the kitchen and helped Saxon find where everything was. It wasn't a well stocked kitchen, but there was enough material for someone to cook up a good meal, especially if that someone was a Bone Gnawer. "I think a good English breakfast and some rest will do us all some good. Then we can work on finding our friends, and that cub."

The flurry of languages had Kristina throughly confused, and never had she felt more like an outsider than at this moment. A few bits of German she caught, enough to understand at least understand part of the conversation. what the man in the fancy suit had said earlier, had gone over her head.
She heard Simeon's name and the concern in Danny's voice. Looking at him she said "Is my brother o.k.?"
Then hearing the rather 'loud' discussion between Vasra and his brother, she turned and looked at the two. feeling slightly embarrassed by their outburst. Not that it was unusual, after all the Rom were quite vocal at times. But the fact they were fighting after the carnage that had just occurred.
Seeing Danny move into the kitchen area, she got up to follow, her leg still hurt, and she walked with a limb still, but at least she could bear weight better. Sitting at the table she watched as Danny moved about the kitchen. It was odd that they could return to such a normalcy, after what had happened. It was both comforting and oddly disturbing.

A goodly chunk of fat into the pan and on with the heat, Saxon whistled as he got the bacon and eggs ready. Plenty of lard, get the bacon sizzling, such a distinctive sound to the ear.
He glanced at the woman as she came in and sat down and then, "Kettle is over there love, mine is milk and two sugars don't know about the rest." In with the bacon and then shouting into the next room, "Right who wants what, shout up or starve don’t bother me which."
Plates, plates, there they are, Saxon pulled them out and placed them by the cooker. Bacon near ready, quick flip and then start on the eggs, "No chance of any tomato ketchup is there Boss?"

The group moved towards the kitchen, leaving Edward standing at the window. But before he could decide whether or not to follow them for some breakfast or not, his telephone rang.

Edward placed the notepad in his pocket, not having a chance to read it before his phone interrupted him. He flips out his mobile phone and answers it...
In his most professional and practiced lawyer's voice he said;
{German and if no reply then in English} 'Edward Rockerfella here, how may I help you today?'
While he was talking to who ever had called him he was blankly staring out the window at his car and wondering if he would have to go get a new one or not, from here it look alright, seemed the intruders were more interested in breaking into the library.
He casually puffed his cigar while he talked and waited for a reply, opening a window so as the smoke could escape outside, obviously these other Garou had no taste of the good things in life. No matter more for me to enjoy.
The smells from the kitchen reminded him of his grandfathers cooking, out in his log cabin in the woods on the Rockerfella estate back in New York, he would have to go have some for nostalgia's sake!

Micah stepped from the umbra...smack into what smelled like dinner? A grin grew on his otherwise scruffy face as he picked up the new smells. No danger, not unless there was a fight over who got what. His stomach set to eating his backbone as he made his way back to the kitchen.
He visited that area lot...track on the carpet leading him right to it even.
"Hey all...What up?" He didn't barge right in, instead choosing to announce himself before invading their food. Smelled his sire to...good, had some questions for him to. Like where was his kinfolk at. He paused as he caught sight of the new guy. Yep...was of their kind, but one of the spider-lovers. He didn't curl his lip up at the garou, instead dipping his head in its direction as a form of greeting before continuting on. There went the neighborhood...
He was scratching at his chest as he walked into the kitchen, thinking over the new scents he was picking up in here. To many? What had they been up to? "Yello...do I smell food?" He gave those who'd get it a wry grin that he recognized, and his sire got a bow of the head, as per his rank...least to him. Wolf like thing, so most didn't get it. Good...it was their own way of showing respect. Some monkey's just didn't get pecking order. He stood and watched reactions, studying those he didn't know as well.

To Aleksi, it looked like the brotherly conversation was over, so without saying another word he took his luggages and carried them out of peoples way. He was tired, but refused to go back to sleep yet, as it seemed this Saxon really had a great talent for cooking. But first he needed some air.
Aleksi walked out, closely examining the damage done by the attackers. The busted windows would be easy to fix, and if that suit had money, they could be replaced with armored glass. He looked around, trying to see if they were under surveillance right now, and kept on walking around the building. The doors he could reinforce too, but if those gunmen really wanted to come in, they could always make their own entrance. Besides, if they were going to do anything to make the caern safer, if they were under watchfull eye, it would do nothing good. What they would build, the enemies would know and adjust their tactics to counter the obstacles.
They needed to find a way to protect the walls too, and as he didn't know the caerns policy on changing the landscape, he walked back in and headed for kitchen, as his frustration had turned into hunger.
