Jess peers at the battle plans. Part of her was disappointed not to be in them, the rest of her quietly relieved. She just hopes they have enough healers to bring them home in one piece. Between her and Em, they could probably heal up anyone who's scars aren't too bad providing they get this far. She looks at Jona to get a feel for his reaction to the news.

David glanced at the map and figured that he'd finally have something to unleash his rage onto. He watched as the rest of the Slags stepped sideways and prepared to follow as well. He went over to Cloud-Dancer and said, "I wish you luck in the coming battle Cloud-Dancer. I will survive this and I hope you will as well."
David then stepped sideways into the Umbra with the rest of the pack and waited for Vasara's commands on his placement in the battle. He wished that he had a blade in his hand but settled for his claws. Cloud-Dancer did promise him a new blade if he fought bravely in this battle and survived to tell the tale.

“Don’t be getting weepy, it will make the Get feel all superior.” Claire commented coming up beside Maria. Well it seemed that things where about to get interesting, straight back from Moscow into the fire or so it seemed.
She looked at Adiyah, “I presume that you want me to stand with the pack? If so I will be honoured.”

Saxon acknowledged his appointment as Wyrm-Foe with a respectful nod. He kept his face impassive as Vasara spoke his body language saying he would rather be fighting a Spiral pack than speaking. Whilst he acknowledge that Nad had been out of line, it seemed an error not to include her in the assault. She was a good fighter and it would have been better to allow her to regain honour by being the first to attack the Bane. Of course thus more than likely the first to die, but at least she would die with honour.
Now she would suffer a worse fate, left out of the victory or as seemed more likely having to live with the knowledge that her pack died without her.
He moved to by Vasara and smiled, “If I don’t make it you can have my truck. More macho to drive than that prissy scooter you ride.” He would never insult Vasara by getting emotional like it seemed some of the Damm pack where. That it had been good to walk the same path was a given and he hoped that Vasara understood that.

Edward came back into the caern from the Umbra with his war gear outfit on himself. His bound m16 on his back and his pistol at his side; he went over to the tactical map and gave it a look of approval. The plan should work, if it was carried out properly.
He went over to the elders and dipped his head to them all and went to stand against the wall. He whispered to Cloud-Dancer, "What's the plan for the rest of us? Is there anything I can do here?" Edward hoped that he would at least be able to help defend the caern, like he had done a month or two ago in the fomori raid.

Jona was a lot more disappointed than Jess was at being sidelined in favour of a pack that had only just stepped out of a moon bridge. He had to admit, Max looked pretty big, and Claire looked like she could smash the face of anyone who questioned her place in battle. But the others, they didn't look any better than his pack. One of them couldn't even walk. He refrained from sulking, however. Instead, he showed his mind-numbing lack of tact and interrupted Hands of Mercy and Anna.
"Wait," he said. "Take this. I was going to use it, but apparently I'm not going." He held out a pipe bomb. "You don't even need to dedicate it. Just use your rage, and throw it. Take care."
"And you," he said to Anna. "Don't die. I have a bone to pick with you when you return."
Then he went back to his pack. "I guess we hold the fort," he said. He sounded a lot less grumpy than he could've.

Cloud-Dancer nodded to David. Her axe was tied to her back. It was ready for bloodshed too. "I will see you after the battle," she said confidently. She turned to Edward. "The Caern will be vulnerable while we're away. Slit-Throat-Rhya will need replacement guardians. It's good that you're here." She then turned to the two assembled packs who were ready to head out. "Remember, protect the banner," she said. "The longer he stands, the longer the battle goes our way. Fight with the strength of Bear and Lion! Strike down our enemies! Let them feel our steel and claws. Wyrm Foe, lead us into battle!" Here for Lion's broodHere for Bear's little monsters

Simeon leaned back casually against the wall, his guitar resting against the wall next to him. He had already been told he was staying behind. Like the others staying behind he wasn't totally pleased with the idea, but orders were orders.
Once the rest where gone he looked at the remaining members of the sept. Seeing how Slit-throat was the highest ranking Garou he met the others eyes and nodded. "And what are your orders Rhya?" The man was obviously knowledgeable in warfare tactics and was sure to have a plan already.

Emily moved to stand with her pack, looking over at Jess she gave a slight smile. "We might also want to make sure we have the supplies in case we do get injured." Though really it wasn't a case of 'if' so much as when. "Isn't there bed in the attic above? That can be made into a ward of sort?"
She figured rather than sit and do nothing they could at least get prepared for the injured, there was more than enough of the others to watch the caern's defenses while they prepared for the wounded.

Micah stood silent and ready, when the time was right he would slip into the umbra and get the local spirits to aide in watching the caern. And there he could slip into his lupus form, though it would hurt more, he was more comfortable in that for fighting, pain or not.
But like Simeon he would wait and see what order Slit-Throat had to give. After all he had already seen the other had a temper to match his looks. And though the wolf in Micah wasn't impressed by the use of brute force, his human self also acknowledged it was what Fenrir were like.

"See you on the other side." Vasara said and slipped to Umbra and laughed at Saxon. "Good, maybe the truck might have some spare parts I could use.". Vasara went serious and continued a bit more quietly "About the bike... If I decide to go to Valhalla tonight..." Vasara's face turned into wide grin"...stay the fuck away from my Sleipnir!"
He looked that Slagbröder were around him and was worried for the lack of Nadya. He looked at David "Stay close. You are not part of us, so you don't feel us when we move, so stay alert. Strike in the openings we leave." Slagbröder had been training some tactics for especially this day. Now they would see if the training will pay off. "Anna and Kamut, your job is to heal us if we are about to fall. Otherwise you give fire-support with Hands-of-Mercy..." Vasara looked at metis as he spoke "...and keep him alive."
He looked at Saxon. "We will begin by ripping chunks out of it's armour, to leave others good spots to target their attacks." Vasara had hoped Nadya would been part of this too. Three strong garou with packbond versus the Bane had turned into two and a Cub who had no idea how they fought. Getting out of the pit alive seemed quite far-fetched thought right now. Still he smiled. "Let's get this over with. Tonight we dine in sushiplace!"
Vasara shifted into lupus and prepared for the Hunt.

Konstantin stood up in his full battle gear and watched others leave. He wanted to run with them more than ever, but there was one little thing. He could not leave the caern now that it's Guardians ran to battle with the other crew usually hanging in the caern. He shifted his boarspear to the side and wondered if he would ever see anyone of the leaving party again.
He looked at the Slit-Throat, waiting for his command.

"Just because we hold the fort, doesn't mean we miss out on the revel," Danny said. "Get up and get ready to run. The Umbra awaits, the village needs to be purged."
He also looked at Slit-Throat. As ranking Ahroun and Warder, it was only fitting that he lead the revel.
"Lead on," he said.

"Yes. The rest of us will divide in two groups. First group is small and moves fast, taking on minor threats if those are found and fading if things turn too rough. You will hit and run and keep possible enemies distracted. If possible, herd the enemies towards the center of the village where rest of us can ambush them later." Slit-Throat pointed at Simeon and Konstantin. "You two. You will be fast and strong together, you will run together tonight. Rest of us will form the assault-group, and we will root out anything that is too powerful for you two to handle."
Then Slit-Throat stood up and stepped sideways.
