Unseen in cover, he watches the beast charge with concern. He couldn't kill it alone. That all changes when he spots Konstantin, instinct taking over as circumstances shift in their favour.
Kasiya takes full advantage of the creature ignoring him for Konstantin and as it passes, he slips out of cover behind it. Keeping pace until it gets to the Silver Fang, he dives into the back of its legs with all his strength to try and bring it to the ground.
With any luck he could stop it short and give Konstantin a chance at some good strikes. He knew what that hammer could do.

Picking up on what Konstantin was doing, Christiane took off in a run through the forest, as far away from them as she could. The creature stopped its rampage and listened. It seemed confused by Konstantin's sounds, and it growled a little. Feeling with its claws, it moved towards Konstantin.
Kasiya made a sound as he stepped out of his hiding place, and the creature stiffened and stopped. Kasiya found it easy to fight in this form. He was no great brawler but the extra bulk just made it all come naturally, and he grabbed the creature around the legs. It was still much bigger than him. And he really shouldn't be having such an easy time holding down something that would match his strength in Crinos.
With Kasiya and the creature grappling on the ground, Konstantin's hammer would have had no trouble hitting its mark. Or at least it would have hit one of them. But now he was sure the creature was trying to speak. It moved its mouth and growled out something that sounded like: What the fuck are you doing. Except it was in the Mother's Tongue.

Not about to be easily distracted from the task of pinning down this intruder in the Caern, Kasiya secures his hold on it and replies in kind, trying out swearing for a change, since the occasion seemed to call for it.
"Who the fuck are you?"
If it isn't forthcoming with an answer he'll drop an elbow into it's ribs for added persuasion. Kasiya doesn't question the providence of his uncharacteristically effective attack. He makes the most of it to control the situation and trusts in the aid of his fellow Garou should he need it.
((Clinch if it doesn't answer.))

"If you're garou, we are on high ban." Konstantin growled and prepared to strike this creature down. He really didn't know what to think of this thing, but if it was garou he gave one chance for change. If it was not garou... well, then it would be time to improvise. And as the sirens came closer, improvisation would involve a fight and dragging this corpse away from the eyes of humanity.
"If you are not enemy, you change. Now."

Kasiya tried to keep a hold on the creature, but even as he did, pieces of its skin came away in Kasiya's hands. The creature hissed in pain and tried to speak, but it was incoherent and the words didn't make any sense. Then it stopped moving and went silent.
Then they both heard a sudden thud, and Kasiya felt someone grab his by the arm and lift him off. It looked like another one of those creatures. It had boils all over its skin and some of it seemed to have melted in places. But this one was a lot smaller and a lot less disfigured. It almost looked human. It could also see out of one of its eyes. But the lower part of its jaw was burnt off, and it couldn't speak.
It physically pulled Kasiya back, and stared at Konstantin.

Taking a few steps back and keeping ready, like Konstantin, to resume attacking, Kasiya is struck by the smaller creature's appearance.
One Eye. Danny!?
If these were Danny and Simeon, horribly scarred by the green fire, there was a way they could prove it easily. Moving around into one-eye's line of sight, Kasiya moves his hands in a simple form of the Pakiv Swara:
"Silent Strider?"

Konstantin looked at the thing at his feet. Kasiya was clearly tripping or lost in thought, so he needed to do something. "Kasiya, we need to get him to caern." he looked at the jawless creature, wounds were terrible but they might indicate that the cause of the wounds was still around. "Go to caern, there must be a healer around." he said quietly to two creatures and Kasiya. He looked in the eye of the jawless creature "Who did this to you? Is it still around?"
"Do you need help to get to caern?" Konstantin asked finally. If they needed help, the one who did this would stay around, and as ahroun he felt his duty was to hunt the cause down.

Danny let go of Kasiya now that he was sure nobody was going to kill Simeon for being hurt and confused.
One, he held up one finger in a sign both would understand. In further response to Konstantin's question, he picked up the other creature carefully and shouldered him.
Help Silver Fang, he signed to Kasiya. Many humans. Be careful.

Signing back:
"We will be careful"
"These are Danny and Simeon. Danny will get them to the Caern while we hunt the one that did this to them. He tells me there are many humans in the woods now, that we must be wary of them."
He doesn't voice the thought that Danny was an Athro and whatever did this to him would be a formiddable foe. With both of them in pain he doesn't press Danny for further answers, nor does he exclaim at their injuries. They could all be shocked and hurt later, when no Wyrmspawn polluted the woods.
"You lead this hunt Konstanin. Tell me what you want of me."

"I know who they are." Konstantin said and smiled at Kasiya. He was worried about the foe who did this, but still he was ahroun. He would not back away. He looked at Danny. "My daughter is somewhere near. She is not safe."
"You are Silent Strider?" Konstantin asked Kasiya. "Are you... sneaky? Can you scout ahead so we don't need to run into possible ambush?" He knew his words were full of Tribal stereotyping, but usually there was a grain of truth in middle of most stereotypes.

Kasiya returns the smile, unworried by the Tribal stereotyping. Like Konstantin, he was rightly proud of the legacy of his people.
"I am and I can. I could scout better as a wolf, but this form will have to do."
Raising his head to scent the air, Kasiya attempts once again to sense the Wyrms presence, hoping to pick up on a direction for their prey. He figures that anything capable of doing that to Danny and Simeon would reek of the Wyrm.
He also looks around in the hope of spotting Fred. His ghostly companion had been invaluable scouting the Hive, he could offer the same assistance here.

Danny nodded to tell Konstantin he understood. Whether he could do anything about it besides scare her silly, however, was a different issue.
Kasiya could sense a lot taint in the forest, mostly coming from the green fire which had by now burnt itself out, but left its mark on the land. Even Danny and Simeon appeared tainted.
He called to his ghostly companion and it took a short while for Fred to find him. At least the fire couldn't hurt him.
((You can stay in this thread for the hunt.))

One constant in a world full of change and strife. His friend. Kasiya feels bouyed up and reassured by his presence. His invisibly ally was with him. Of course Konstantin doesn't know that, but if he wasn't used to Theurges acting strangely by now, he'd had his eyes closed and ears stopped up for all his adult years.
"Fred. I'm glad to see you. We're hunting one who's attacked us and burned these woods..."
His voice cracks a little at that. He'd spent a lot of time here, awakened the plants and communed with the spirits that lived here. And some bastard Black Spiral Dancers had seen fit to burn it down. Gaia screamed for vengeance.
"...and our friends. I need to scout. I could use your help. Can you scout through the flames? We hunt one tainted Garou."

Konstantin let's Kasiya do his thing and wondered who this 'Fred' was. He scanned his surroundings for any sign of their prey and wondered if they actually managed to move at some point of this hunt.
He ended up interrupting theurge in the end. One of the few things he had learned of theurges was that it was unwise to interrupt them when they worked their magic. If Kasiya was using some Rite or Gift now, Konstantin could not know what the backlash might be if ahroun interfered and poked theurge on crucial moment.
He cleared his throat with a quiet cough and said "Is our plan to wait another fire to start?".

Fred responds. "I can tell you now there are several men and women a little to the north, fighting the fires. If you stay here long enough, they will eventually reach you. I don't have the power to sense taint, but I didn't see any wolves on my way here. I'm sorry, I'm not as good a scout as you. My only strength is that I can get into places you can't."
