Through his haze of drugs, while being half-carried by Saxon, Kamut wonders if actually having authority would make Nadya's constant commands more or less irritating. Once waiting by the fire exit he does his best to concentrate on the world around him and keep his ears open for signs of trouble. As he draws his conclusions he grins dozily, as through the intoxicated blur his mind drifts and concentration wanders.

"The Umbra is no longer an option," Kasiya growled at Nadya. "The spiders have been roused." Jan managed to walk on his own, unlike Kamut, who could barely take a step without Saxon's help. Saxon handed over Kamut to Vasara before turning to Kasiya. "Let's go," he said, before heading for the exit, followed closely by Kasiya.
Vasara poked his head out of the door. It was still light outside, and the fire alarm and recent evacuation of the building had drawn some attention. However, most of the crowd was gathered near the front of the building, waiting for the fire brigade, and nobody was looking directly at the fire exits. There was a good chance they could slip away unnoticed if they didn't make a commotion. Before he could inform the others of his decision, however, a loud series of bangs could be heard from inside the building, and the whole structure shook from the explosions. Jan could barely stay on his feet, and had to hold on to something to keep from falling over. Parts of the ceiling started caving in as it became obvious what the Ratkins' plan was.

I really should have killed that crazy rat when I had the chance... Vasara thought right before he kicked the door wide open and shouted "Let's go!" and practically carried Kamut out.
Such explosion would draw so much attention that this was the best chance to get the hell out as people were looking up at the building. "Hide your weapons, try not to look like terrorists or shit like that." Vasara walked with long strides but didn't run, it was better to be confused as wounded workers or bystanders than be running out, bleeding and guns in hands, from building that just exploded. He just hoped Saxon and Kasiya got their vehicles without trouble...

Nadya grumbles and puts her assault rifle in the bag with everything else. She consoles herself with the fact that her shiv is within reach if anything does get out of hand. "Yeah, I'll try not to look like I get eyes gouged out in brawls either." Mindful of the blood still coating her hands and arms, she crosses them as she walks to make it slightly less obvious.

The building shook as more bombs went off. A few of the upstairs windows shattered, showering the group below in broken glass and metal, but not doing any serious harm. At least the explosions kept people away, and in all the commotion, Vasara, Nadya, Jan and Kamut managed to slip away unnoticed. They didn't have to wait long at the end of the alley for Saxon and his truck. Kasiya hopped down to help Vasara shove Kamut into the front seat. A few people watched as they drove away, but nobody made much of it. "Where to?" Saxon asked as he pulled away. "Caern?" He looked in the rearview mirror. A lot of cops were starting to arrive, and he didn't want to give any of them a reason to pull him over.

"Yeah, caern." Vasara said absent-mindedly. He then looked at Jan "Take off your clothes and throw them out from window. We will check you then for tracers before we take you to caern."
"That went surprisingly painlessly." Vasara grinned in pain as his Gift of Resisting Pain was fading and he again felt the familiar burn of the silver "Nice work, people, we got some goodlooking scars, some even worthy ones." Vasara continued cheerfully as he turned his head from side to side to see if they were followed. "Few fomori less to plague the earth. Althought we need to figure out a way to bring the minds behind that corporation down." as he spoke his skin was again turning into normal as his trollish, gnarly, warted skin started to smoothen up.
"But that is not todays thing to worry! I am hungry, I hope there is stuff left to eat at the Caern!"

Nadya gets in the back and tucks the bag neatly into the corner so it doesn't get knocked about. With so many guns in it, one good kick might set something off... "You're telling me! I could eat a thunderwyrm." She absentmindedly licks her fingers, which are still smeared with blood, while she keeps her eyes open for pursuit or anyone paying them too much attention.

Kamut slumps back wherever he gets put in the car and watches the pretty lights go past, practically oblivious to the world now the adrenaline of the fight and flight has left him.

Jan nodded and stripped off his clothes before throwing them out of the window. He wasn't wearing that much anyway. He rolled up the windows to keep from freezing. "I found out some things while I was there," he said. "We should be able to put together enough facts to bring them down."
Saxon kept driving towards the Caern.
