Danny and Zachary gained height and the Caern and the four other Garou became smaller and smaller.
"We're looking for a red wolf," Danny shouted. "About your size. Keep your eyes on the ground."
Zachary could feel the Umbral wind chill him to the bone as they flew south, towards the checkpoint. He could see a large area of bombed-out Umbral city from here, and the many weaver spirits, which all looked so tiny and harmless from this height.

"All right!" Zachary shouted back and started looking around. The ahroun was slightly scared how high they were and wondered how well a crinos would steer on air. But this was secondary for his job and the boy began to look carefully. He did not look at every nook or crate, but instead looked at the whole area, trying to find any spec of red.
(( needed search rolls are a go!))

Danny circled the sky above the checkpoint for a while as Zachary tried his best to catch a glimpse of the red wolf. The approaching darkness, couple with the cold wind stinging his eyes, didn't help. His eyes started to water, but finally he thought he a glimpse of a moving red shape below. He blinked, and could almost make out the wolf, heading North and moving slowly.

"sssshiit" Zachary muttered as low as he could. Swearing in front of the Warden was something he didn't want to do at all.
But his attention quickly shifted as he saw something he was almost sure was the wolf they were looking for. "Rhya! There" Zachary shouted and pointed at the direction of the wolf. "Nearing North but not fast"

Danny looked down to where Zachary was point. "All right," he shouted. "We'll land over there so we don't spook him." He changed direction and started back North, to intercept Martin but not land right on top of him. "Brace yourself!"
He started to dive, and Zachary found it hard to keep his eyes open as they were hurtling towards the ground at break-neck speed. It seemed impossible that they would brake in time, but they did. The landing was still pretty jarring, and Zachary stumbled a little when Danny put him down, but regained his balance without falling over. All in all, the whole thing was pretty exhilirating.
"All right?" Danny asked as he shifted to homid.

Zachary's eyes spinned like two wheels and he tried his best to gain his footing of the situation. "Yesh, I'm all righthh" he said, then shook himself and was again in good spirits. He turned to look at Danny. " Should we arrive near him in lupus? He is in lupus he might find wolves nicer" Zachary asked.

Danny chuckled. "Quite a ride, isn't it," he said. "You never really get tired of it."
"Yes, let's shift to Lupus," he said. "We'll fly back too. Try not to rouse any spiders." The less time the Caern spent without its warder the better. He shifted to Lupus and headed out to intercept the cub, making sure Zachary stayed close at the same time.

Zachary had to bite his tongue hard not to comment on how to DANNY it must have been a joy ride for sure, but for anyone he was transporting it was scary.
Zachary shifted to lupus and followed Danny, while watching around him for the cub very carefully.

Danny ran out to the meet the cub, with Zachary following close behind him. Martin froze at the sight of the two wolves, but he recognised Danny quickly enough and any hostility quickly disappeared. Danny shifted to homid again and spoke to Martin in German, as the cub hadn't learnt the mother's tongue yet.
"Don't worry," he said. "We'll get you home yet."
Martin looked curiously at the strange wolf, but said nothing and remained in Lupus.

Zachary looked at the cub, and began to wonder why a cub that young would be running here. But it was not his job, nor did he wish it to be,yet. Zachary quickly shifted to homid when Martin looked at him. He held out his arms wide open to signify he did not mean harm. " Don't worry, I am safe" he said.

Martin didn't say anything, but he seemed to know how things went. He shifted to homid and stepped up to Danny, held on to his arm, and braced himself for takeoff. He didn't seem to mind flying.
Danny held out his other hand to Zachary. "Ready?" he asked. "I'll go slower this time."
The spiders in the area were already starting to take an interest in the three Garou, and some had stopped their spinning and were watching them intently.

Zachary nodded at Danny and stepped close to the man and took his hand. He notuced the spiders all right, and was a bit worried. "Rhya, the ...insects...like to meet us" Zachary said, trying to not to give away what he meant in his typical akward manner.

Danny looked around, and caught sight of the Spiders watching them. Martin did too, and clung to Danny's arm, hoping he'd fly already. He wasn't afraid of a few pattern spiders, but all this time deep in weaver territory was making him uneasy.
"We'd better not impose on their hospitality for longer," Danny said. He knew the three of them could probably handle a few spiders, but they were deep in their territory, and it wouldn't be long before they brought their friends.

Zachary nodded. Danny atleast seemed to be a good person, but then again, so many hid their secrets. "I see" Zachary added. He looked at Martin and tried to offer the cub a reasurring smile.

"They will not hesitate to bind you in their pattern webs," Danny said, pointing to the webs that the spiders were spinning across the city. "Anything that isn't ordered and static needs to be bound. They are strong here, that is why the gauntlet is so difficult to cross. The Weaver can be just as dangerous as the Wyrm, especially in these numbers."
