Simeon gave Saxon a nod of agreement as he looked for a place to sit. The conversation had turned to one of what 'appeared' to be friendly banter between the other two Garou and he was content to watch a bit. It would also give him a chance to take the measure of some of those he hadn't had much contact with in the past week.
Glancing up at Cloud Dancer he asked. " So besides the new arrivals...who else is un-packed at the moment?

"Now you are not fighting fair, bringing up my home country's cooking." Saxon got a dreamy look, "Roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, new potatoes, roast potatoes, peas, carrots, cauliflower and all covered in thick beef gravy. Followed by spotted dick and custard, I can taste it now."
He smiled at Nadya, "But I will try your Shchi if you cook some." Then he looked curiously at Simeon, "Unpacked? You looking to start a pack? And that is a point where is Vasara and the newbies? I would have thought the challenge would be over by now."

"There's the Kasiya, your tribe-mate," Cloud-Dancer counted. "The two new kids, and Nina... Saxon, you're making me hungry."
She grinned. Saxon had a point. She hadn't expected the challenge to take this long either, unless Vasara was busy teaching them his own lessons out there.
"I suppose I'd try anything once," she said. "Even if it does seem more likely to kill me than crabby."

Simeon nodded as Cloud-Dancer rattles the names off, keeping his face neutral as he did. Save for his own tribe-mate the rest were unknowns, and already the one he was less then fond of. "Well, Will have to see what Owl desires...after all He led me here for a reason." It was, he figured a safe answer while he thought about the situation. While it wasn't uncommon for a Gallaird to be a pack leader, in a place like Berlin with the Wyrm so strong, even he had to wonder if it was the 'best' option for a pack leader.
"Well food when done right should be a delight to eat..." as he winced while Nadya took another bite from her plate. While he had no aversion to raw...it seemed hers was a mis-matched balance of raw and over done. But the fact she could eat it and hadn't killed herself was, admirable.

Nadya quirked an eyebrow at Saxon's talk of his homeland's decadence, but shrugged. Between forkfulls she idly tossed another remark at Simeon. "As long as you don't expect them to pamper you in bed I'm sure you'll do great." Simeon's stalwart silence in response to her earlier jibes only urged her on, though mostly because it was as in good humour as anything she said to Saxon and she was amused by how he was responding with the silent treatment.

Time dragged on, and there was still no sign that the challenge had ended. Finally, Danny appeared in the Library, followed shortly by Vasara, whose hands were still covered in motor-oil. Danny gave the group a greeting, and then said to Cloud-Dancer. "I've got some volunteers for your second recon run," he said. "It'll give Slagbröder a chance to rest up from last night, and the new kids a chance to do something besides beat on each other."
Cloud-Dancer nodded and went to find the volunteers to brief them on that night's security check.
Vasara joined his two pack-mates for dinner. His tastebuds were just as indifferent as Nadya's, so whatever she was eating worked for him. Then he headed off to check on Ragnarök.

Tuesday - March 9, 1989 -
Evening came around again. The number of Garou staying at the Caern had reached an all time high the night before, with three metis, four Lupus, and Saxon and Simeon, and only six sleeping places, but there were, as usual, no complaints. Tuesday passed quietly, with the new Garou still recovering from their recent attack on the banes near the wall, and Slagbröder generally taking a well-needed day off. The new pack, Dämmerlicht, spent the morning in the Umbra with the Warder, learning rites. As dusk fell, Danny returned to the Library and gathered up whoever was present for a little update.
(Tag to everyone except Dämmerlicht. Post arriving or already being there. Post what you did during the day if you want. Time to move things along, and get everyone back in sync.)

Hands of Mercy spent the day quietly people watching, mainly, and slowly beginning to heal from his wounds. He will have spent some time cleaning and oiling his bow, and also will have headed into the nearby woodland before returning with a small bundle of sticks and a handful of feathers which he sets about turning into wooden-headed arrows with some reasonable amount of skill, using his knives as well as some more specialist tools within his pack. Come dusk he is at the Caern, finishing off the first of his arrows.
((Meditating while I'm in the woods as well))

Sleeping places hadn't been a problem for Kasiya. He slept by the fire.
Through the day he would have been seen by anyone spending time in the Umbra, speaking with the spirits, and sometimes to himself. He seems incedibly busy on the brief glimpses people have of him, yet exactly what he's doing would be a bit of a mystery to anyone but Danny.
By dusk, he was flopped out in front of the fire, soaking in heat with a singlemindedness only animals posess, although Hands -of-Mercy's indutrious craftsmanship draws inexplicable interest from him.

Nadya didn't spend much of the day around the caern, and only arrived as the afternoon set in. Once she had arrived she'd spent most of the time with her pack.
On Danny's call she makes her way into the main area of the library and takes a seat.
(assuming slagbroder, now a pack of five, are going to spend some time practising pack tactics when they're not under threat of being eaten by giant crabs)

Kamut's motly wolf form spent the night in front of the fireplace in the library. By day, mostly out of curiosity, he nosed around to find out what Kasiya was up to. It was an easy feat for someone who eludes perception as well as Kamut. Later in the day he joined up with his pack as they straggled in at various times.
Come evening he padded into the room quietly, still moving as a wolf, and settled down to listen to whatever it is Danny desires.

Anna's morning hadn't been nearly as interesting as the rest of the Sept's. It had mostly consisted of long and unending classes, but it was a welcome change from the usual death-defying activities that filled her day. She walked into the library munching an apple, located her pack, and sat down somewhere close to hear whatever Danny had to say. She noticed Hands of Mercy, partly because it was difficult not to, and because she had never seen him before. "Arrows?" she asked, watching him work.

Having spent the night sleeping soundly in his bed, Saxon had a lazy day. He had done a couple of miles at a steady jog and then pumped some iron. He had watched German television as a way of improving his German, especially the cop ones.
Although stop, you are under arrest was not something that he could imagine saying much, but then again Dirty Harry was his favourite cop.
He joined the others in the library and takes a seat next to Nayda and then sprawls backwards totally at his ease.

After the events of yesterday afternoon and evening, Erik is well and truly exhausted. Not wanting to return to his own apartment and have to deal with his brother, he decides to spend the night at his so-called girlfriend's place, instead, arriving as the sun is rising. He does his best to get utterly inebriated, as she frets over him, before he passes-out after only an hour or so.
When he wakes, well after lunchtime, he finds his wounds have been bandaged, and fresh, non-perforated, clothing has been set aside for him. His companion, however, was nowhere to be found, having left for work hours ago.
He makes a mental note to thank her the next time he sees her, but forgets soon after getting dressed, eating and leaving the building.
-------------
Arriving at the library as evening approaches, he does his best to appear strong and hide his wounds. The worst of them are bandaged, which are, in turn, concealed by clothing, yet he moves with the telltale signs of someone who has had a 'bit of a rough night'. The more perceptive in attendance will more than likely pick-up the scent of blood on him.
Greeting the Garou he had already met, and generally making a bad impression upon those he was now meeting for the first time, he finds himself a seat, and waits for the eyepatched-one to arrive.

Thankfully some one had taken note of his 'discomfort' the day prior and after a night of sleep he had been allowed to remove the dressings finally. So, he had taken time that morning to stretch and excersise...both his Homid and Lupus forms. Having worked up a bit of a sweat he had returned to shower and clean up, having been informed there would be a gathering later in the eve.
He made sure to arrive some what early in order to find a place he had a feeling the meeting would be crowded. Though the place he chose was out of the way with a good view of the room and those that arrive. he was most curious to see them all, the one he knew and the ones he didn't know.
