It was well into the morning when Danny arrived at the park. His feet were still smarting from the night before, but he was trying not to show it.
With the slightest of limps he walked over to the entrance, looking around for a tall muscular guy in a black jacket and blue jeans.
Danny himself caught a few looks from the morning crowd. Some people glanced warily in his direction. Mothers cast him disdainful looks and ushered their children away. People just instinctively avoided him, just like they avoided the large Ahroun fitting Saxon's description as he walked into the park.
Danny walked over to him. He stood almost as tall as Mark, but he wasn't built quite as muscular. He wore a large worn trenhcoat that looked that it had seen a lot of years, and his boots were starting to peel at the soles. His blond hair grew long and wold, but he did seem to have taken the time to braid his beard, or rather, someone else had. His right eye was covered with a black patch, but there was some evidence of heavy scarring underneath. "Mark Harding?" he asked, stopping in front of him.

The coffee had perked him up and the early morning air in the park was helping but he could do with a few hours shut eye some time in the near future. He smiled at a nice looking blonde walking her dog and was ignored in return. Stuck up bitch he though but gave her a look over his shoulder as they walked away from each other, nice ass though.
He looked at the unkempt man with the eye patch and swapped hands with his bag.” Aye you must be Danny, call me Saxon everyone does.”

"You're English," Danny remarked, turning and starting to walk up to a park bench that wasn't in a very crowded area.
"Let's sit here," he said, reverting to English himself. His accent sounded Irish, and quite southern. "One of the boys decided it would be a good idea to try and barbecue my feet."
He whinced only slightly as he sat down, glad to be able to rest his feet again. If Danny hadn't been so stubbornly proud, he would have woken any of the pack and asked them to heal his feet. "So, you're a friend of Bart's," he got right to the point. "Are you Garou or kin?"

“Yeah it shows that much?” Saxon replied as he walked along with Danny, “You’re a Paddy then?” it was said in the same tone as if Saxon had said the sky is blue. Barbecue his feet? Nice people he ran with, “Mistake you for a sausage?”
Saxon dropped the bag next to him as he sat on the bench, well straight to the point, good beats waffling. “Bonegnawer Ahroun, you?” And if he had a problem with bonegnawers, then he had the problem, did not bother Saxon at all.

"Silent Strider Galliard," Danny replied, looking rather pleased. "He was aiming for the leech, but was a little off. Burned my feet, but the leech is dead so I can't complain."
Danny smirked a little. A Bone Gnawer... Kaleb would like that. An Ahroun was just what the pack needed. It meant Vasara could relax a little. But then relaxing probably wasn't part of Vasara's temperament.
"Welcome to Berlin, and this is the closest there is to a welcoming committee. We're just taking back the city... I hope. "

Saxon laughed, “Wondered why Bart said I must not miss the nightlife in Berlin, it is so exciting. Always did have a odd sense of humour.” He considered, “So you have a Dracula infestation and your house cleaning, that about sum it up? And yeah thanks for the welcome, normally Berlin is a drive in and drive out so don’t get to see much of it. But this was a drop run, so I was going to be doing some sight seeing.”

"Every once in a while one of them crops up, then it's 'dusting' time," Danny said. "We try not to make a mess... but with Kaleb around it's hard."
He paused for a while. "I feel I need to tell you though, Berlin's not the safest of cities. The East side has managed to find some kind of stability, but here things are still pretty explosive. Until recently, this was Black Spiral Territory, and most of the Caerns in the area are still tainted. The city is infested with Weaver and Wyrm taint alike. I don't know if you've heard of a corporation called Pentex, but they have many extensions in the city, and we've run afoul of their experiments more than I'd like to recount. Leeches are the least of our problems when it comes down to it."
He looked at the Ahroun, studying his reaction as he bombarded him with all this. "Well, if you want we can start the tour at the Caern. I know at least two of our brothers are back there, sleeping off a terrible hangover."

Safe, did he really look like he was bothered by safe? Saxon smiled, “So there is plenty of fighting, Dracula, Spirals and whatever, well they say variety is the spice of life.” He stood picking up his bag, “Well as I said it was a drop run so for the moment I am unemployed. Don’t mind giving you a hand. What else are Ahroun good for but getting stuck in?” Saxon grinned making a joke of what a lot of the other aspects thought about the Ahroun.
“So shall we go?”

"I'm sure we'll find good work for you, nobody's unemployed when there's scum to purge the city of." Danny smiled and stood up slowly. "I must be getting old," he thought out loud, "Yes, let's go," he said as he started towards the exit. "We'll see about getting some breakfast too... maybe a second breakfast." Continued at the Caern
