Micah's war wolf form popped in again, though this time he immediatly went low. Moving from cover to something else, he stalked and sniffed as he moved along, searching for sign's of the two call's he had heard without getting to close.
Course, that entire time he was ready for a attack. They might have scented him from earlier, so his guard was up.

Micah is faced with two choices. One of the howls had come from the East, an area they had been having problems with Spirals in for the past year. The other howl, the closer one, would lead him West.

Micah thought it over...but yea, one real choice here. What was one of the blighters doing going east for? He set himself, then started tracking towards the east. Using ear's and nose, and some extra help from being what he was, he started on trying to find the proverbial fur ball in a hay stack.
(Gonna try scent prey first...or...maybe heightened senses. Whichever fits better. ^_^)

Micah heads in the general direction of the howls. Surely enough, he easily picks up the scent of unfamiliar Garou in the area. He's almost sure there's more than one, and that he's never been in this part of the Umbra before, or the city. They had worked on securing the area around the Caern, but a lot of Berlin was still dangerous territory.

Saxon and Vasara appear in the Umbral side of the University. It is obvious here why it had been so difficult to reach. Pattern Spiders weave their way over the buildings, and other weaver spirits litter the streets. This is not a very friendly place for those who favour the Wyld.
Furthermore, there is no sign of Micah.

As soon as Vasara reaches Umbra, he falls on all fours and shifts into his gray wolf-form. He walks in a few small circles around keeping his nose in ground, moving fast and trying to sniff out Micah's scent in the area, yet still keeping his eye on Pattern Spiders prowling the area. From time to time he raises his muzzle and takes few deep breaths, if he could scent Micah in the umbral winds.

As Vasara had gone to wolf Saxon remained human, no point two of them trying to sniff out a trail. Instead he began to observe the spirits, seeing if any of them seemed agitated, maybe by Garou fighting.
“Got anything Vasara?”

Vasara manages to pick up Micah's scent, and his nose leads him towards the East, towards more hostile territory.

Vasara sniffs few more times the ground and air to make sure he got the right direction and right scent, then growls in garou-language "He's gone to East." Vasara starts jogging following his nose, quickly fastening his pace up. "You sure you can keep up with me in homid?" he looks over his shoulder at Saxon, waits for few seconds and then breaks in run. After running for about 30 metres Vasara looks over his shoulder again to be sure that Saxon is not left behind.
"East-Berlin is quite corrupted side of Berlin, stay alert."

Saxon sighs and shifts to wolf to follow Vasara, “Why would he go east alone? If it is as bad as you say he will just be heading into trouble.” Not that Saxon minded trouble, no in fact a bit of violence was right up his street.
“Is there no pack rule about going off into dangerous territory alone?”

"It is better to find the Veil-Breaker and even kill it, than letting him be dragged into folds of Wyrm he might find in East Side." Vasara keeps running but not at full speed just to make sure he doesn't lose the track. He runs for some distance, then glances Saxon briefly.
"I'm trusting your eyes here for Banes and Spiders, I need to focus on Micah's scent. I ain't that good tracker and I'm quite easily blindsided..." Vasara barks half-playfully at Saxon and his tail wags few times from left to right. Then he puts back his "gameface" and keeps on running. "We need to shut up, we don't want our noises cause any more disturbance than our presence here already causes."
In his travels he had learned that Fenrir attitude of superiority easily caused more problems than benefits among other Tribes. He reasoned that asking help from Bonegnawer as Fenris, even if it was just to keep eyes open for him, would break some of that Tribal-ice between them.

They head further East, leaving the University Campus behind and heading deeper into the city. As they approach their goal, Saxon starts to notice that the Spirits are agitated. There are no clear signs of a struggle, but the Spirits seem to be able to sense the hostility in the air. Vasara can smell others, as well as Micah, in the area.
