It is assumed that you can safely leave your bike in front of the bar, bouncer and security camera make sure that no-one will touch your bike while you're enjoying yourself inside.
For truckers things are bit different, there are no cameras in back of the bar where cars are left and it wouldn't be first time when bouncer has dragged some hotheads there to "make sure they behave better next time".
Anyways regulars know the rules and watch after each others trucks and bikes so problems rarely comes.

"You sure that was the shortest route?" Aleksi asks from snickering taxi driver as he hands over some of his hard-earned cash to pay the ride. He was quite sure he saw same landmarks from time to time, but because he couldn't be absolutely sure as most of the drive he was consentrating in his book, he kept his outburst inside.
Aleksi gets out, grabs his luggages and out of habit starts saying "Have a nice... umm... day?" What a rude driver, Aleksi thinks, driving off without saying anything... maybe he should send some customer feedback to that firm. Aleksi tries to see the name of the taxi-firm, but for some reason there only reads "Taxi" on top of the car, no number, no logo, just "Taxi". Now that is odd...
Aleksi stands a moment in front of this hellhole looking around. "Hmm, bikers and truckers... criminals all..." he thinks "No wonder that brick likes to hang around here." Aleksi was a hard-working carpenter nowadays, and had military background like almost every man in Finland does. Criminals just pissed him off. Aleksi takes his cellphone again and calls his "brother", it was not a big surprise that number couldn't be reached.
Well, Airline-food in second class wasn't that good, and more importantly, you coudn't get enough of it, so when Aleksi smells the scent of food cooking inside Bar, he needs no further reason to get inside...

Aleksi's day was about to get worse. He couldn't even get past the bouncers because they in turn were being pestered by a couple of guys in suits. The guys looked like they were trying very hard not to look like cops.
"Listen, we need to find this guy," one of them held up a picture for the bouncer to see. "He's said to work here, hangs around the place alot. We need to talk to the owner to confirm it, and find him. The boy's in his early twenties, goes by Kaleb most of the times. Now let us in, or there's going to be trouble."

"...excuse me..." Aleksi tries to squeeze in but it seems he and his luggages are not good enough for this place. "...EXCUSE ME! What the Hell is wrong with people in this city?!" Aleksi drops his heavy luggages on ground with thumping noice and looks at bouncers and these guys waving the photo "All I ask for is little manners, is that so FUCKING hard to get here?!"
'oh, NOW I got their attention' Aleksi thinks as he takes a deep breath before he continues "Now, my... close friend owns this place and wanted me to visit his bar. I came a LONG WAY to get here, and I've been having a awful day here, so..."
He faces these clowns in the suits and keeps on talking "You, why don't you give me or these gentlemen here..." Aleksi points at bouncers "...that photo and your number, I'm sure that owner will call you when he comes back from wherever he is now? OBVIOUSLY he is not here, because I've been calling him for quite awhile already without success AND he said... no, actually he PROMISED in his letter that he would come to pick me from the airport... which he didn't do. It would also be SO VERY NICE from you to tell who you are and what you want in civilized way, that way people tend to treat you with a bit more respect and my friend just might call you back?"
"And you two?" bouncers will also get their fair share "Now, I don't know the laws of Germany or even the general rules of social interaction here, BUT what you got here is few persons blocking the way in. If there is a problem, you don't chatter in the front door where you block the peoples entrance, you deal with this kind of situations somewhere near but out of customers sight, ok?" these guys looked like they would eat chains for breakfast and sip it down with motor oil, but Aleksi had been treating this kind of people in army before. Show them that they can't fuck with you, and usually you got few drinking buddies from them.
"Now, I've known your boss from times before he lost his eye. Please just deal with this situation and let me inside. I'm hungry and as I already said, I've been having a horrible day..."

The bouncers whispered to each other quickly and then, finally, one of them looked at Aleksi.
"Yeah, you go right in. The boss isn't back yet, but I'll tell the barman to fix you up a nice drink as you wait..."
He stepped aside and let Aleksi past, but then blocked the door quickly to leave the other two guys outside. He whispered something else to the other bouncer and went inside. Aleksi could still the two strangers arguing as the door shut behind him.
The bouncer said something to the man at the bar and then left. The barman walked up to Aleksi.
"So what'll it be, a good tall drink after the journey?"
The frustrating thing was that no one seemed to know or care where the boss was. It seemed that disappearing like this was a common thing.

After driving for what seemed like an eternity, Ilya pulls his travel-weary Mini into the Ragnarok parking lot.
Squeezing his large self free from the relatively small vehicle, he locks it up tight and heads towards the pair of bouncers at the door.
"Having a good night, boys?" He asks, a warm smile on his face as he looks down at them, he was never any good with names, but he had bumped into these two once or twice before, "I don't supposed Mr. Vasara is inside, is he?"

The doorman greeted Ilya like an old friend and pushed a couple of truckers aside to make room for the overly large man.
"He's not around, no," he said with a shake of his head. "Actually," and he lowered his voice slightly. "He hasn't been in for a few days. It's unlike him, you know."
The doorman looked expectantly at Ilya, as if hoping he would know something about the boss' disappearance.

Ilya's brow furrows with concern. "Probably out visiting his sick grandmother," He says, shaking it off, "Or something..."Reaching into the pocket of his Hawaiian shirt, he retrieves his cell phone and flips it open. "I'll just give him a buzz and see what he's up to." He says, dialling his friend's number. He paces absent-mindedly before the bouncers as he waits for Vasara to answer his phone. After a few too many rings, he flips his phone closed. "No answer." He says, more to himself to anybody else. Thinking for a moment, he shakes his head and addresses the bouncers once more. "Well, my friends," He says with a smile, "I'd best be leaving you both to it. I'm sure you've got a busy night ahead of you."And with that, he departs, ducking around the corner of Ragnarok, away from prying eyes and tearing his way into the Umbra. ---CONTINUED HERE---

A wolf, a rat, and a fox walked into a bar... It sounds like the beginning to a bad joke, and I assure you it might well turn out to be one.
Currently, all three were wearing their human skins, however. And they were still in the parking lot. Waiting...
"I never liked waiting," Karin said. "It gives one too much time to think. And the more you think, the more you realise you should just stop thinking and start working on drilling holes into the heads of everyone who does think. I really need to get a power drill. I like you, foxy. You're not a thinker. The wolf, I'm not too sure about her. She's a quiet one. It's always the quiet ones. But then I've never actually met a puppy who thinks."

Post by Middle Born on Dec 6, 2007 23:13:11 GMT 1
Middle Born was not a happy puppy, she was twitchy and jumpy, all the grey and black, the lack of green and the lack of trees or places to hide made everything very unnerving. That along with all the scents here, it smelt bad, even worse than the place she had been taken from.
The lupus so wanted to take on her natural form again, she wanted to run, to roll in leaves and hunt…but for now she stood. She stood silently still staring with wide eyes completely unsure of what was going on. For so long the wolf had been subdued, for so long the garou had been hidden for the sake of the veil, Middle Born had become compliant as a matter of survival…
Middle Born still felt the urge to run, to find the forest again, but for now she was following instructions. She was sure once she was with other wolves it would be alright, once she was a part of a pack…yes pack was right.
It was then Middle Born could the return to that which Gaia and Grandfather Thunder had chosen her for. The Lupus said nothing…and yes she did think a lot, she had, had a long time to think.

They didn't have to wait long for the car bearing Aleksi, Kamut, and Martin to show up. It parked a short way off and Aleksi turned and looked at the two Garou. "Alright, I will wait here," he said. "Do what you need to do and come back. Don't keep me waiting too long."
He turned back around and started drumming on the steering wheel. Apparently, he had the same rotten temper as his brother.

Martin, who had been sitting quietly in the backseat during the rather awkward silence during the car drive, fumbled with the door and finally managed to stumble outside and into the parking lot.
"What do you think they look like?" he asked Kamut once he'd exited the car too. "Danny said to smell for rats. It smells like blood." He looked around and his eyes fell on the three women standing at the far side of the car park. There were other people here, mostly truckers and bikers. So these three stood out somewhat. Of course, Martin didn't notice that. He just noticed the blood. "Over there," he pointed. Apparently Danny had neglected to tell him that it's rude to point.

Kamut pauses as he opens the car door, and speaks quietly to Aleksi. "Thanks for the lift, if anything happens you get out of here. We'll find our own way back." Kamut nods to Martin, spotting the state Sakura is in. They were certainly an abnormal group, although Kamut was far from normal himself. He approaches the trio at a steady walk and stops a few paces in front of them. "Excuse me, ladies, I suspect I am here to meet you. I am Kamut. Is one of you Karin?"

She gave the wererat a 'you have got to be kidding' look about the comment about bleeding on the lab coat. "A bit too late for that I think." As she gave a slight smirk. She was really beginning to wonder about this Rat, but at least she had been helpful...so far.
She wasn't sure who the 'puppy stew' comment was too, but she was sure she didn't like it. But before she could comment she was off on another tangent. she began to wonder if Karin ever really paid attention to what she said or just talked to hear herself talk.
When the car pulled up, she perked up abit, more alert as it was an unknown. when the stranger came up, she did her best to not stare, if he was garou, he must what they called a 'metis'. she gave a short nod, but let karin answer, since that was who the question was directed at.

"That'd be me." Karin was, in a nutshell, unremarkable. She had the look of someone who was trying hard to look tough, but wasn't really. She was also the least noticeable of the three women when it came to looks. She could have easily blended into the biker crowd. The other two, however, stood out.
"Why did they send you?" she asked. "Is everyone dead?" It sounded like a serious question. But she didn't look like it would have bothered her if they were. "Say what happened to your face?" she said, not waiting for the answer to the previous question. "And what the fuck are you looking at!!" she snarled at Martin, who was currently staring at her.
