Located not far from the University's Main Campus. The office building looks modern and well taken care of, although it doesn't seem to be inhabited.

Vasara parked his bike a block away from the building, making sure that Saxon had space to park near too. He turned off the engine and got up, taking from his pocket a chocolade-bar he bought from the gas-station on their way.
He walked next to Saxon and took professors notes in his hands, casually scanning them one more time. "Martin was the name of that Cub. Brunner was the professor. I think we won't need more names." he said as he recalled the names one more time. Then he started to walk toward the building, throwing the wrappings of the chocolade-bar in the dumpster after eating that.
He kept his eye on the building's windows as he approached it, and when at frontdoor, checked the cars that were parked nearby. You can never be too paranoid in these days.
""This is supposed to be the right address." he said to Saxon as he pointed the door.

Saxon looked up at the building and then began to look for the board. “Lets see who shares with building. They say birds of a feather flock together.”
He took the opportunity to look the security over, cameras where always a pain. An ‘accidental’ death and the first thing the cops did was watch the security tapes see who had come a calling.

Vasara kept looking surroundings of the building when Saxon checked the board "There don't happen to be the office-room of that investigator written on the board? I would hate to call him one more time just to find him." he said over his shoulder as the streetlights started to flicker first and then lit up as they tried to keep the oncoming darkness out of their street. Vasara checked the time, the day was already losing its battle against the night.
Vasara lit one of his two last cigars and puffed a big cloud of smoke as he thought what had happened in last few days. It was only...was it last night he burned that leech with Danny and Kaleb? Vasara smoked less than half of the cigar before carefully stomping it against the wall of the building and putting rest back in where he took it. It was weird that sometimes you could live normally for weeks without anything particular happening to you, then there would come these days when there were not enough hours in a day to do all you needed to get done.
"Found anything interesting?" Vasara asked absent-mindedly from Saxon as he stretched his neck and arms. One more look around, one final scan on the notebook. Yes, they were as ready as they just could be.
"On the other hand, he said he will wait for us in his office, so I bet the doors should be still unlocked." Vasara tested the frontdoor as he talked "Finding one office that is still open amongst closed ones shouldn't be too difficult for a pair of great urban predators like us." Vasara grinned, almost smiled. Saxon had made a good point earlier, they really should spend more time in the wilderness.
His eye wandered into darkening sky "It's getting late already. We better get into business." he muttered before entering the building.

The entrance hall was poorly decorated for an office building. There were a few plants and some posters on the wall, but no place to sit and wait. It didn't look very welcoming. Inside stood burly man behind a desk. He didn't look like a secretary or receptionist, but more like a bodyguard who just happened to be standing behind a receptionist's desk. On the other side of the hall was an elevator, and a flight of stairs.

"Stay alert. Never seen secretary looking like that anywhere before." Vasara whispered to Saxon as they got in. Then he whistled aloud looking around the room and took a deep breath.
"Yo! You!" Vasara started in his normal oh-so-friendly tone "I believe we should meet someone tonight here? I called him about certain experiment earlier." Vasara looked around and continued "Nice place you have here, big boy, only could use some... dunno... decoration? So, what floor are we supposed to go?" he kept going on with his mouth as he approached the desk.
He stopped just at the edge of the table, leaned over to the man and offered his hand for a greeting "I'm herr... Donner, and I'm an expert on behaviour patterns of the predators. Who might you be?"

"Predator experts?" the man seemed otherwise unbothered by Vasara's attitude. "Whatever, Herr Donner, our decorating budget is a bit tight at the moment. I am sorry it isn't to your taste. Now, you're expected..."
However, the desk guy glanced at Saxon as if a little surprised that he was here.
"I'll buzz the elevator for you, go straight on up to the fifth floor, and down the hall to office. It's the only door that's open, you can't miss it."

“Nice of you chuck.” Saxon replied and smiled at the burly man, “Ignore Vasara he is such a critic, pulls out wallpaper and paint samples at every opportunity.”
Maybe he was just being over cautious but this heavy on the desk was odd and a slow lift to the fifth floor could give them plenty of time to set up a nice reception party. And lifts where a big metal box that trapped you nicely if they where waiting when the doors opened.
“Truth is I am a bit claustrophobic and lifts do my head in so I will take the stairs and see you up there.” He smiled again at the man and then headed for the stairs.

Vasara gave a look to Saxon as he mentioned his real name, but decided to play it nice, following Saxon to the stairs "Fifth floor? Well, I still have two healthy legs, so no need for that elevator." he said to receptionist before disappearing in the stairs.
Vasara walked the stairs with good speed, taking few leaps from time to time. It was getting late and he was starting to feel very tired. After all, he woke up really early this morning after a night of heavy drinking, and had been running all day. He really had to struggle to keep himself from yawning.

The receptionist shrugged and picked up the phone, calling ahead and letting them know Vasara and Saxon were coming.
Up five flights of stairs, they reached the only hallway that was lit. The office in question was right across the hall. It too was dimly lit and there was a man sitting inside. Apart from him and the receptionist the building appeared to be empty.

Somehow this reminded Saxon of the man with three cups and a pea, it looked so simple but could you find the pea, could you hell. It was too pat, man available when they needed him, seemingly empty building and that heavy on the door. He put a hand on Vasara to stop him, “You go in I will stay here.”
If it was a trap then lets split the target and make life harder for them. He listened to the building trying to isolate the natural building noises from any made by people moving around.

Vasara looked Saxon and considered things for a second before saying "I guess our signal for trouble will be one hell of a ruckus?". Vasara tried to smile but managed to get out only a grin. Then he walked straight through the hall toward the office, looking suspiciously around, memorizing the locations of windows and such as he walked. This looked nothing like his impression of office of supernatural investigator should look like. This was just too... cold and soulless environment in his mind.
He stopped at the door, without entering yet and looked inside to see this man and the room. Clenching his hand into tight fist, he knocked the wall next to the door loudly even if the man inside had noticed him already.
"We were meant to meet here." he said grimly.

"Indeed we were," the man stood up and straightened his coat. "Please, have a seat. I have been looking forward to meeting you."
He waited for Vasara to take a seat (assuming he does) and then sat down himself.
"So, I take it you have some questions for me... let me just say that I am equally interested in asking you a few. But since you took the trouble of coming down here, it is only fair that you go first."

Vasara sat down and took professor Brunners notes in his hands with a bit exaggerated move. Without saying anything yet he scanned the pages for a brief moment and then, eye still on the notes he said "I didn't really have a chance to meet professor in a person, but his notes are in my possession now and I've been trying to figure them out."
"Tell me about this Martin, and why Professor Brunner had a need for predator-experts?" Vasara felt so cunning with that question. He skimmed the book further to find a certain part of the text and continued "Surely those full moon-references must be jokes, and why there's number of certain special investigator in the papers? That can't mean what I think that means?" Vasara continued and smiled widely during his last question, but kept the look in his eye cold and intense.

"Hmm Martin... a very special subject indeed. If only the poor fool of a professor had let me examine him at my lab... but no, he was too attached to him to let him go."
A small amused smile crept on the man's face. He seemed to notice Vasara's cold look, and didn't appear to buy his scepticism.
"I see you are not a believer in the supernatural, Mr... Donner, was it?" he said lightly. "But if you've seen what I've seen, the idea of full moons won't be so laughable anymore. Yes, Martin was very special indeed. I only got to see him once, I don't think Brunner quite trusted me near him. But he was a small and scrawny boy, with enough power to take out the entire crew if he wanted to... it's a shame they let him slip away. Brunner, or course, dismissed my theories as wild fantasies... but you've seen the notes, Mr. Donner, what do you think?"
