"Because she asked too many questions, shut the hell up." Is Nadya's quick rebuttal to the inquisitive security guard. She rolls her eyes at Saxon, but doesn't really see any point in helping out when it comes to breaking things so goes back to the desk and checks it over again for anything else that she hadn't noticed before.

Saxon succeeds in breaking open the first cabinet without breaking Vasara's knife, and he is faced with a collection of files neatly placed and sorted alphabetically. The files are ordered by their names, most of which mean nothing to Saxon. One file, however, immediately catches his attention, as it bears the name Harding, Mark. As he looks a little closer, he recognises two other names: Vasara, Tony and Walczak, Anna.
Vasara looked over at the security guard: "The less you know the better," he said, before turning to Saxon. "Anything?"
Just then, the radio Nadya had lifted of the guard starts crackling in her bag. They can barely make it out: "Theo, where the fuck are you. What's up with the elevator?"

Curiosity has Nadya peeking over Saxon's shoulder, she sniggers as she reads the files. "I seem to remember someone bitching about subtlety recently." Of course, she doesn't recognise Mark's name owing to it's infrequent use, but Vasara and Anna she does.
As the radio crackles Nadya nods faintly, she'd been expecting it. She takes it out of the bag and holds it in front of the guard. "You'll answer that, Theo. Say there's been a fault, you've already contacted maintenance and you're making sure no-one tries to use the lift until the technician arrives." Nadya draws her shiv again as way of motivation. She's confident, in light of recent dead bodies, that he's not about to risk getting stabbed as well. Sometimes killing arbitrarily can really come in handy. She keeps hold of the radio, thumbing the transmittor button when he offers a sign of agreement. If he shows any sign of trying to call for help, she'll release the button immediately.

"Some bedtime reading." Saxon replied as he pulled the three files out before moving onto the next cabinet. He inserted the knife as he spoke over his shoulder. "The clock is ticking before some one on this floor goes to use the lift and looses their last meal."

"What's going on," Vasara moved over to the cabinet just as Saxon pulled out the files with their names on them. "Shit, this can't be good." He knelt down and shuffled through the rest of the files, looking for familiar names. "We'd better burn all this to be sure," he said half to himself as he rummaged through the collection of unfamiliar names. "On the other hand, this does mean they have Jan."
The guard watched Vasara's outburtst curiously, although he seemed to have no idea what the fuss was about. He stopped watching once Nadya gave her orders and nodded quickly: "Yeah... I'm here," he said into the radio. "Uhm, the lift is broken. I've called maintenance but they're going to need a while to get here. Just making sure no one tries to use the lift in the meantime." The voice on the other end responds shortly: "About frickin' time. I was just coming to look for you. Where are you?"
Saxon breaks open the second cabinet moments later. This time the files are ordered by date instead of name. But before Saxon can go through them, they hear the sound of a key scraping the lock on the other side of the door.

Nadya puts the radio away as she covers the distance to the door and stands on the hinge side. She gets the stun gun out in place of radio and gets ready to close the door behind whoever comes through and zap them. It's not out of any sense of mercy of course, it's just easier than a stabbing. She lets the others handle the guard and not spooking the uninvited guests.

Saxon moved to by the guard and put a hand on his arm saying softly in his ear. "Believe me she will kill you if you do anything other than stand still and silent." He looked to the door and then stood by the guard looking as innocent as possible.

With Saxon handling the guard, Vasara moved over to Nadya, ready to grab the newcomer as soon as she stunned him, so he wouldn't make too much noise on his way to the floor.
The door opened. A middle aged man in a labcoat entered. He wore a pair of reading glasses that balanced on his nose just so, and even though Vasara and Nadya weren't quite competent at lurking, said nose was buried so deep in his notes that he wouldn't have noticed them even if they had been dancing in front of him waving machineguns.
He did seem to notice when Nadya slammed the door and zapped him, however. He dropped the papers he was carrying with a yelp and tumbled right into Vasara's waiting arms, which deflty turned him around to face the floor as he twitched uncontrollably.
There was a muffled cry from the other side of the door as Nadya slammed it on someone, then some noise as whoever it was tried to open it.

Nadya rolls her eyes. It seems everything they do has some complication coming up. Hoping whoever's behind the door just thought the tazer victim had just fallen over and landed against the door, Nadya allows the door to open a little so the new victim can come in to investigate. If they do come in, Nadya grabs them and does her best to wrestle them to the ground and clap a hand over their mouth.

Well at least Naz had not stabbed the first one and then emptied her clip through the door into the other one. Maybe she was mellowing Saxon thought, but either way there where way too many people.
Without any indication he turned and smashed the guard in his face. As the guard slumped to the floor Saxon said "Sorry" in a soft tone. He stood waiting to see what would happen next.

The office was quickly becoming crowded. As Vasara let the older man fall gently to the floor, Saxon knocked out the guard with little difficulty.
The door creaked open, and Nadya stood ready to grab at whoever was about to enter. But he never did. A young bespectacled Korean man with a clipboard took one look at the scene and decided that maybe stepping inside would be detrimental to his health. Nadya made a grab at him just as he backed away and dropped his notes, and somehow managed to evade her and run off screaming down the corridor.

For a moment, animal instinct tells Nadya to give chase. Then she shrugs it off. Chasing a man around would probably draw more attention than just letting him run around screaming. "Check that guy over, he might be who we're looking for." Leaving Vasara to examine the lab coat guy, she heads for the filing cabinet. She grabs the files from the broken cabinet and starts shoving them into her bag, giving the labels a quick glance over in case there's some obviously important material in them. She also takes the files that have their names on, along with a handful of other random files so the owners can't tell which files are important enough to take. "We can read later, now we need to get a move on." While she's got her hands in her bag, making sure neither of the hostages can see what she's doing, she cocks the AK-74 so it's ready to go. She doesn't get it out, instead leaving it near the top of the bag on top of the files so she can get to it quickly.

"We certainly do." Saxon agreed as he left Naz to her looting and stepped into the corridor. There we go he thought as he spied what he was looking for and he smashed the glass triggering the fire alarm.
Now some one running around screaming would attract less attention he thought as the alarm began to sound throughout the building. He turned to Vasara, "Alpha grab the guys wallet, once we know his address we can pay him a visit later, time we where off for the stairs. Naz grab the radio lets listen in on what is happening, now lets go."

Vasara went through the man's pockets and retrieved a wallet and some keys, and then picked up the files he was holding. He shook his head at Nadya. "This man knows where Jan is," he said.
He looked at Saxon as the fire alarm went off. "That should create some confusion, buy us some time," he said hopefully. Then he knelt down by the man and spoke into his ear. "I'm looking for Jan Stolz," he said. "It's no use lying to me. I know he's here." The man coughed and gagged, and finally managed to find his voice. Unfortunately, he said the wrong thing. "Who the hell are you people?" Vasara shook him angrily, and thought he could really use Nadya's shiv for a little incentive right now. "I'm his relative," he said. "And if I find out he's been hurt, I will take it out on your relatives!" "He's not hurt," muttered the man. "Why would we hurt him?" "Just tell me where he is!" Vasara snarled. "Third floor, second room. The keys are... you have the keys." There was a pause Vasara considered what to do with this guy and then: "If he is hurt, I will be paying you a visit later," he said, leaving the man lying on the floor. "Let's go."
People were starting to respond to the fire alarm and were currently making their way outside. A couple looked back at Saxon curiously, but none of them lingered.
"Third floor," said Vasara, leading the way down the corridor.
But they didn't get very far. Halfway down the hallway, the doors to the staircase flew open, revealing a group of four well-armoured guards. They weren't your average rent-a-cops like Theo had been. These guys definitely knew what they were doing. They had armour vests and helmets, and were all carrying rifles. "Freeze!" shouted the first one. Obviously he didn't know how cliché that was.
