After pinpointing the soft spots in the spiders' carapaces', Kamut turns back and looks curiously at Kasiya as he speaks to the open air. It isn't a difficult deduction. "The dead are speaking with you?"

"You lost him?" asked the voice. "How silly. Did he go into that building?" She didn't seem to have heard the question. Or rather, she was ignoring it in favour of asking her own. "Are you going to fight them now?" she continued. "That's really not a good idea... but it sounds like it might be fun to watch."

Kasiya spreads his hands wide in a gesture he's seen used by humans who don't know the answer to a question. It's so inconvenient to run with Garou that don't use handspeech.
"Only fools fight without need. Who are you?"
Still looking... Also trying to figure out if he's hearing through his ears or not.

"I'm not supposed to tell strangers my name," said the voice. "So if your friend is in the building, he's not really lost is he? You know where he is, and so does he."
Invisible ghosts are probably not a new thing for Kasiya. Voices in his head, however, probably would be, and he was lucky for that. Very little good can come from hearing voices in your head.

"Who says you shouldn't? I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours."
Not giving anything more away, he doesn't want to enter into relations with this voice/spirit/hallucination on the wrong terms. It wanted to speak to him, not the other way around.

"But I already know your name," said the voice. "So that's not really a fair deal."
It paused, but before Kasiya could respond, it continued.
"What I am wondering is why, when you know where your friend is, you're still out here messing around with spiders instead of going inside and finding him."

"Because I value Life. Because the kill is not all of the hunt."
It's trying to delay us?
Kasiya lines himself up on the stairs, gathering himself up for a sprint.
"Kamut. Can we make it to the stairs?"
He figures the Ragabash will have a better idea than he, having had more time to concentrate on the spiders.

"I am... not sure."
It was an odd sensation, a Theurge deferring to his knowledge on anything to do with spirits. Kamut does his best, hoping his meagre knowledge of the danger of Pattern Spiders isn't failing him. "We could attempt to destroy the near two and run on, if we're very fast. I am not very sure, but I think we should be able to destroy two of them between us. Whether we could attempt to run and jump past them... maybe. We could try it, on the fall-back option that we attack if one of us is intercepted."
Kamut looks around for whatever it was that Kasiya was talking to. "What about the being you were speaking with?"

This seemed to confuse the voice, because she didn't respond to it. She did, however, respond to Kamut's suggestion.
"Oh but they're fast, and they can jump really well. Have you ever seen them jump?" she said. "But if you go there, on the other side of the stairs, they won't see you. You can do your jumping trick and end up in the surveillance room. But hey, why listen to me. Go fight spiders, I'll sit here and watch."

"Thank you for your advice."
Let's see how much you know.
Leery of unsolicited help, and armed with a long history of dealing with unpleasant spirits, Kasiya replies to Kamut in the Garou tongue. His visitor seemed all too familiar with German.
"It offers advice. Spirits are drawn to me, good, bad, gaian and dead. I can't tell which yet. It suggests we go this way..."
He gestures, indicating the voice's route.
"...past the stairs and get to the 'security room'. What do you think of the route?"
He's not so much deferring to Kamut's knowlege of Spirits and their world as deferring to his judgment in a hostile environment filled with enemies. He turns his own attention to the route around the back of the stairs, looking for nearby spiders, traps and deadfalls.

"I don't see any problem with it." Kamut looks around, they'd been staying near the building for some time and it hasn't been long since the spiders were massing to attack. He's partially expecting them to try again.

Still in the Garou tongue: "Let's go."
Kasiya takes his Black wolf form for swiftness and ease of movement.
Even if you are a dark spirit drawn to my mistake in the gauntlet. You haven't had enough time to lay a trap. I hope.
He gives Kamut enough time to choose his best form for speed, then leads the way in a respectable run, focusing his eyes on avoiding obstacles amoungst the webs while trusting his ears and nose to give him advance warning of the spiders.
Running on silent paws he trusts Kamut to have his back should he spring a trap or ambush.

Kamut and Kasiya cut a path through the ghostlike building and towards the stairs. The Spiders left their work immediately and started advancing on them, clicking their pincers angrily. But the wolves were faster than them, and the path was clear as the voice had said. They made it past the stairs and to the desired spot. There were no walls or rooms on this side of the gauntlet, so they could not be exactly sure where they were. However, they didn't have much time to think about it now. It wouldn't be long before the spiders were upon them.
Let me know if you're spending gnosis to reach. You did botch before

Skidding to a halt on his rump where his best guess told him to, Kasiya ensures that he's stopped fully and sits as still and silent as he can as he Reaches.
They do not see the still and quiet wolf. It might buy me time.

Although the Spiders were advancing fast with murder in their eyes, Kamut and Kasiya's instantaneous step across the gauntlet left the sneaky arachnids clicking at air. The two wolves disappeared from the spiders' view, and the walls suddenly came into existence around them. They took a second to adjust to the brightness of the room, and this is what they saw: They were standing in a relatively small room with a large number of flashing screens and an even larger number of buttons. To make matters worse, there were two people in the room, which made the whole space rather cramped, and they were between them and the only entrance to the room. One of the people was a burly man with light beard, who was sitting on a chair, his feet on the table, and sipping from a styrofoam cup. The second person was a woman, with her hair tied into a ponytail, and she was looking right at the wolves. They were both wearing the same kind of uniform, and both were armed with handguns and a wireless radio.
And Kasiya couldn't be sure, but he somehow got the feeling that the Voice was laughing.
"Holger," the woman cried out in shock as she saw the wolves, and immediately pressed down on one of the shiny buttons near her workstation. Holger, the bearded man, looked up from his coffee and only managed to go into a fit of coughs as half his drink went down the wrong way.
