Jona had to admit that was pretty cool, if only it had been more effective. He stepped up next to Katrine, and tried to catch a glimpse of whatever it was she saw. He rarely missed anything, so she must be good. He glanced back at Jess, but she was staying back. He gave her a nod, and she nodded back. That was all the communication they needed.

Not sure if the arrows would be enough to draw the hidden spiders out, Simeon moved forward and howled a challenge at the hidden group, hoping to draw attention to himself. As he moved he used a gift taught to him by cheetah, the gift of speed. That way if the spiders did take the bait and give chase, cheetah’s blessing would give him greater speed to lead them a merry chase.
((Using on Gnosis to activate Speed of Thought so I can run faster and hopefully stay a step or two ahead of them ))

((More like Saturday, but still I'm back now))
Jess waits, shifting from side to side with nervous energy, awaiting the inevitable assault.

For a few chaotic moments there was a lot of shouting, howling and running. The others were alerted by Katrine's shout just as the three pattern spiders climbed rapidly round the corner on the webbed first floor, and looked up just in time to see Hands-of-Mercy fire an arrow which lodged deep in the carapace of one of the three spiders, and black oily fluids leaked out from the wound. A split-second later, they saw Simeon run forwards at incredible speeds, covering the ground between his and Hands-of-Mercy's position and the building in an instant. The spiders were obviously highly organised, but none too bright, and rather than move in on the flank of Cloud-Dancer's group they instead jumped down and pursued futilely after Simeon.
Before Cloud-Dancer's group could be relieved by the diverted group of spiders, the two that had been above them climbed back out of the building and jumped to one side of the group. Three more followed them out of the first-floor windows immediately, and jumped down on the opposite side. The five approached, no doubt ready to attacked.
Three pattern spiders are chasing Simeon, one with a big arrow-hole in it, but Simeon will have no problem outrunning them (speed of thought+hispo), could you specify whether Simeon is heading back towards Hands or away from everyone in your post (and I suggest Hands waits until that information is available) Cloud-Dancer's group are facing five pattern spiders, three on one side, two on the other, please be clear which group you're facing with your post

Katrine danced around to get near Cloud and close to the large group of three spiders, lowering her weapon glancing at Cloud. “Like before, high and low.” They needed them down and fast. Running forward, she tried to lure the spider into thinking that she would go high full attack. But in reality she where going to duck and roll past, coming up at them from behind and cut their legs off, one spider at the time.

Cloud-Dancer faced the three spiders with Katrine, leaving the two Bone Gnawers to tackle the two coming from the other side. As Katrine swung low, she slashed at the spiders with the axe, hacking at the spider Katrine was attacking.

If someone had told him there was going to be a fight, Jona would have come prepared. Although, he thought to himself, he really should have anticipated one, with all the Fenrir around. They probably stirred up the weaver's nest when things were getting boring. He placed himself in front of the two spiders, letting them attack him and allowing Jess to weave around and attack their flanks, without getting hit herself. Jona wasn't a seasoned fighter, but then he was only a Cliath. He made up for it with a lot of enthusiasm, however, and attacked the first of the two spiders viciously with both claws.
(Two rage, two extra claw attacks.)

Jess took up a position behind her packmate, letting him step forward to take the brunt of the attack before darting around his side as the spiders closed, aiming to land a couple of bites on whichever spider presented itself as a target.

Seeing the three spiders giving chase, Simeon favored himself with a satisfied smile, now the big problem. What to do with them? A quick glance showed that the battle was now officially on, so he was going to be needed there more then, sans his new playmates. His grin broadened into a true wolf-ish one as he turned and angled towards the building, picking a place particularly full of Wyld's vines. With luck the Wyld would take exception to the three spiders and grab them and thus relieving him of his his chasers. And if not, well hopefully Hands could remove one of them with his arrows.

Seeing Simeon get the attentions of the spiders he'd been trying to annoy, Hands of Mercy turns his attention back towards the main fight. With melee engaged and this wind, his arrows would have trouble finding the spiders and not his allies in that mess, but his words might not. Still holding the arrow ready, he begins to let out a series of jeers and taunts toward the spiders, mocking their inability to watch their own backs, and generally trying to, if not draw some away, then at least get them a bit edgy about an impending ambush.

Hands-of-Mercy's howl sounded out across the building, distracting the spiders momentarily while Cloud-Dancer's group fought them. Jona and Jess teamed up on one of the pattern spiders, tearing at it's essence, but they both sprayed Jona with threads of web and in a matter of seconds he was bound fast into the pattern web. Jess was left facing the two of them alone, while her packmate stood statue-still. Cloud-Dancer and Katrine fared marginally better against the three spiders, two of them did their best to bind Cloud-Dancer in place but were only able to slow her down. It was enough to stop her from eviscerating her target though, and though the spider she and Katrine tore at was seriously mauled it was still on it's remaining legs. Katrine was also bound partially into place by the third pattern spider.
Simeon's close-in run along the side of the building was successful only in antagonising the vines that wove around, that were no more friendly to him than the pattern spiders. As he tried to lead the spiders towards the building the vines whipped and flailed at him, but he was fortunate to escape with only a scratch. The pattern spiders, having already discovered at length the danger the vines posed, did not attempt to pursue and instead turned back and made their way along the side of the building back towards the front.
Though the situation was not looking good for Cloud-Dancer and the three Cliath fighting beside her, their wait seemed to be over. The five members of Slagbröder could be seen running for the doorway, dodging and weaving the whipping vines, and Nadya looked like she had taken a serious hit from one of them at some point. The odds were suddenly looking a lot worse for the spiders, nonetheless.
Jess gains rage for seeing Jona get bound, Jona is out of the fight until he gets freed Cloud-Dancer is on a -4 dice penalty and regains rage for being bound Katrine is on a -3 dice penalty and regains rage for being bound Freeing the webs will take quite a bit of effort, and ideally help from someone else
The three spiders at the side will reach Cloud-Dancer's group after one turn if they're not diverted. For the sake of reducing the number of posters slightly, Simeon and his three spiders continue here, Hands-of-Mercy can continue here if he intends to stay with the main fight or go there if he intends to continue distracting the side group.
Hands-of-Mercy, Crinos, 4 rage, 3 gnosis, 5 will Jess, Hispo, 2 rage, 2 gnosis, 4 will Simeon, Hispo, 4 rage, 3 gnosis, 2 will Katrine, Crinos, 3 rage, 1 gnosis, 5 will, Tyrfing activated

No! Seeing Jona bound fast in the webs sent a wave of Rage through Jess' mind and body. She's not about to let these idiot Fenrir cost her another packmate. Still, her chances fighting two spiders alone are slim at best, so she tries to lead them away from Jona, hoping like hell the Fenrir aren't about to leave him for the spiders when they have to pull back.
((Rage for an extra action, bite run. Will on the bite, trying to finish off the spider they'd been chewing on.))

Things were going to hell much faster than Cloud-Dancer had anticipated. Thankfully, she caught sight of Vasara and his pack emerge just in time. Knowing they would get there soon, she continued to hack at the Spider.
"Time to go," she shouted to Katrine as she swung the axe again. It was time to start fighting their way out.
(3 attacks with rage again)

Vasara grinned widely as he got out of the building, he really hated this kind of jobs. He was not a Umbra-specialist and being stuck inside umbral building was something he really didn't want to experience.
Vasara quickly tried to understand the situation, it didn't look good as those left outside seemed to have some trouble with webs. "Saxon and Nadezhda. help those 'Gnawers out of trouble." Vasara pointed at Jona and Jess "Anna and Kamut, you follow me from both sides. I charge in middle, you surround and flank those Spiders." Vasara pointed at three Spiders fighting Katrine and Cloud-Dancer. Saxon was tough and even with her wounds Nadezhda could stand and deliver, but she had been so badly wounded that it was safer to her to fight with the ahroun. This way she was as safe as she could without dishonoring her Fenrir pride by ordering her to retreat,
"If anyone gets webbed, rip the webs open. If it can't be ripped, carry them to safety. Regroup around me in twenty seconds."

Coming out of the vine's reach was good, even better they had not hit him. But whether that was skill or luck who knew Saxon admitted to himself.
Hearing Vasara's orders Saxon altered course, "Nadya get him free." Saxon commented and then smiled, "Come here Spider I have a claw with your name on it." He charged forward intending to drive away the spiders so that the other Gnawer could be freed. ( two claw attacks using rage.)
