It strikes Kasiya that the root of the problem seems to be that he didn't let these policemen do his job for him. That, and their entirely different views on the world.
He shakes his head. There was no way he could see to talk his way out of this.
"Thankyou Anton."
He looks back to the Doctor:
"We see the world in different ways. So I have nothing more to say."
He simply couldn't see any way to reconcile their views. He couldn't tell them about the Hag, for the Veil and for their lives. He didn't obey human laws except by coincidence. They often made no sense. Any justifications he gave for his actions would only give them more reason to lock him up.

"Very well." Doctor Junkers for a moment looked dissapointed let slip a sigh. "Who is it that you have been talking to? This... Anton?"

Kasiya frowns as the human's persistence, thankful that the Rage isn't strong in him.
Which part of nothing more to say did you not understand?
But the opportunity to continue on a harmless topic is one he doesn't want to pass up. He needs to keep going until the Sept could send someone to help him out. The possibility that they wouldn't was one he wouldn't countenance.
"Anton is one of the restless dead. He was a prisoner here. He died many years ago and is trapped here."
He makes a point of looking up at Anton to see if he voices any objection. He only had one friend here.

"Are you saying he's a ghost?" Doctor Junkers nodded faintly and scratched another note on her notepad. "What do you think traps him here?"

Continuing to look at Anton, Kasiya asks a question of him, it being plainly obvious to the psychiatric doctor that he isn't speaking to her so long as she has any of the skills of her trade.
"May I? If you mind, I won't."
It was, after all, an intensely personal thing.

Anton shrugged. "Knock yourself out. It's not like they don't have everything on record anyway." Though Kasiya obviously wasn't going to get the figure of speech, the context Anton put it in made his meaning clear. Doctor Junkers showed no sign of impatience as she waited for Kasiya to answer.

Nodding deeply in thanks, Kasiya leans a little closer to the doctor and looks her right in the eye, hoping to put her off balance with his inherent creepiness and hopefully, his supernatural attraction:
"Anton was held prisoner here. He says it was fifty years ago. He was murdered by other prisoners."
He pauses for effect, then continues:
"Anton was guilty of the crime they accused him of, and he has come to regret it. He wishes to make peace with the family of the one he hurt, to say he is sorry. To let him move on. But in fifty years, no shaman has come here."

If Doctor Junkers was unnerved by Kasiya, he couldn't see it. "How do you intend to help him?" Her pen continued making notes on her notepad as she talked, "I imagine these shamans would be few and far between. What is it that you call a shaman?"

Shaking his head, he Places his hand upon his heart:
"I am. We tend the spiritual needs of all people. Like your priests should."
He'd seen the work of priests before, but from the trust the children had always placed in them, he had an inkling what they were supposed to do.
"Some see the dead, some the future, others just listen well. I will help Anton settle his unfinished affairs if I can, then he will be free to move on. I hope."

"So you intend to try to make peace between Anton and the family of his victim?" The pencil continued scratching notes, and Doctor Junkers flipped the page on her notepad. "How would you achieve that?"

Shaking his head, Kasiya realises he's been doing that a lot lately.
"It is different each time. The restless dead are people just like you. All different."
He finds himself wondering if she'd asked all the questions she needed to yet. The mental fatigue of answering a string of questions is showing and he feels tired, if not in body then in mind.
"Are we finished yet?"

"You have the right to remain silent, as I'm sure was explained to you. Then there will be no point in me being here, and Detective Feldmann will likely put you in the cells." She puts her hands out to her sides for a moment, in an expression that probably wouldn't manage to convey "It's out of my hands." to Kasiya anyway. "So what sort of things have you done in the past to lay these spirits to rest?" "You're probably safer here with me. I'm not the only ghost in this place..."

Rather than spoon-feed the doctor her answers, Kasiya tries to make her think and understand, to put herself in the place of those he helps.
"If you died today, what would you wish you had done?"
That is what I do.

Doctor Junkers marked another note and frowned slightly. If the attempt at nuance was noticed by her, she didn't show it, but with Kasiya's poor grasp of the tone and inflection of subtlety that was no suprise. "I don't see how that is relevant, Mister Richter. I am asking you about what you have done in the past." Anton stood up from where he'd been perched at the edge of the table, and moved behind Doctor Junkers. He paid a great deal of attention to the writing on her notepad.

Fate had offered him an interesting opportunity there, and Kasiya endeavours to use it, still convinced that no-one here believes in the Ghosts:
"Anton. Would you tell me what Doctor Junkers has writen about me?"
If Anton accedes, Kasiya will proceed to recite the contents of the notepad which he can't see. Proof was a rare thing.
