On the inside the company building was much the same as the outside, bare grey conncrete. Thorny vines bound every stretch of wall of the interior of the building, provided a contrast from the flat grey, and every now and then one of the vines twitched and moved. Slagbröder's entry was not at all well-received, the vines dislodged from their walls, which had cracks in them in places thanks to the binding foliage, and rose to greet the five Garou. There was no doubt that the vines were about to attack. The wailing that could be heard outside was only stronger and more shrill inside, carrying through the narrow corridors and rooms and surrounding them at every step. There were no whistling winds inside, but the tormented wail was enough on it's own.
Three vines will attack whoever is at the front of the group.

Vasara walked in point-position towads the building, crouching as he honed his claws to the umbral concrete ground. When inside he tried to see whatever they were looking for but there just was maze of corridors and the wailing. And the wines of course. He tried to figure out the original direction of wailing but he didn't let his hopes up on that. There were other members on the pack far more proficient for things like that. "Here they come!" he growled as tried to sidestep the first attack and he prepared for impacts. ((ooc: Basic action: dodge, use Rage to activate Razor Claws, use Will to activate Resist Pain, somehow I feel this is gonna hurt ))

Anna followed Vasara, letting him lead the way. She stayed in Crinos, ready to dodge any attacks coming her way. The wailing seemed to be coming from every direction, and it was terribly distracting.
"We should keep moving," she said.

Nadya snarled in irritation, this isn't an enemy that can be fought and killed. It's just showing a few vines. As she tries to weave around any lunging vines that come her way. "Find the source of the vines."

Kamut does his best to interpose himself between any vines that look set to attack and Anna, they might not be able to do this without her. He looks around the building, trying to spot a pattern in the vines, and keeping his ears sharp for any other noises that the wailing might be concealing, while his other senses go to work searching for taint.

"Speed up, the vines are fixed in place, once we pass their reach they cannot attack us." Saxon looked around, now the vines where in play no doubt the spiders would be alerted and heading their way.
He watched for any vines coming his way, aiming to dodge and keep moving rather than stopping to fight them.

With Vasara at the front and Saxon and Nadya holding the sides, they were the three the vines went for. Saxon and Nadya managed dodge and duck the vines that whipped towards them, but Vasara wasn't quite fast enough and a thorned vine ripped along his arm. Though it left a row of bloody scratches, the thorns didn't penetrate deeply thanks to his thick warty skin.
The wailing continued as they moved on, but there was little in the way of an obvious path to follow, all the corridors looked the same without the trappings of the material world. Whenever they moved out of reach of one whipping vine they came into reach of another, it didn't look like anywhere in the building would be safe from them. Though the wailing echoed and seemed to come from all around them, making it hard to locate it's source, it did grow louder as they moved deeper into the building. They were forced to shout to be heard above it.
Kamut could detect taint somewhere in the building, but it was a large building and he couldn't tell how far away or how strong it was.
It was impossible to shut the noise out, but Anna slowly began to recognise more than just a chorus of agony thanks to her understanding of spirit's speech. She could understand meaning amidst the wails, though it was distorted by the pain that the source of the wail felt. She could understand twisted images of searing pain, rotting flesh and entrapment amidst the screams.
Vasara is unharmed

"Anna, you need to guide us!" Vasara shouted "We can't stay here forever, give us directions!" Vasara glanced at others if they happened to be more sensitive than he on these spirit-things before focusing on their surroundings again.
Vasara's eye darted from corner to corner, from corridor to corridor. "Should we go up? Down? Are we already withing the spirit?" He tried to go at the direction where the wailing was strongest but he really was here completely out of his element in more ways than one.

"Keep going," Anna yelled. "Not up, Spiders are up. Stay on this floor. I can hear him."
She tried to concentrate on the wails. She could almost feel the spirit's torment.
"Spirit of the Wyld," she called. "We are Garou from the Sept of Ceaseless Wisdom. What binds you to this terrible place?"

"Taint is here..." He pauses, tries to pin it down or give something more precise, but it's not strong enough. "It's weak, or distant, somewhere in the building." Kamut kept his senses alert, even with the other three seemingly distracting the vines. He keeps his eyes open for signs of any of them trying to weave in and get to Anna, so he can distract them.

"Taint is everywhere." Nadya grunts, weaving slightly ready to move if another vine comes for her. "Could burn it all."

"We should have brought gallons of weedkiller more like or a flamethrower." Saxon commented as he moved forward dodging the vines, "Vasara you still got your Molotovs?"

Vasara, Saxon and Nadya all managed to avoid getting hit by the whipping vines, they didn't yet seem interested at striking for the heart of the group so Anna and Kamut continued to be shielded. As they moved through the building, dodging vines all the way, they noticed something odd about the architecture. There didn't seem to be any stairs anywhere, up or down. After a few more corridors Anna and Nadya noticed something especially odd - there seemed to be an area at the centre of the building that had no way in at all. The wailing was undoubtedly the loudest around that central area, but there were no gaps, no doorways, no means of access at all.
Though the others could not understand the words, Anna showed a remarkable strength and sincerity as she spoke. For a few moments afterwards, it was almost as if the wailing dipped in strength slightly. It picked up again, and was still tortured and warped, but the messages were more clear and rational and Anna could make more sense of them. "Garou! Garou! Twisting foul binders! Trapped by Garou! Torn! Rotten! Bound! Pain! You come to bring more pain!" They were relatively more rational, at least. The vines showed no signs of letting up, and continued swining toward whoever was easiest to reach.

"We can't burn it," Anna said. She stepped closer to the closed-off are at the center. "It's in there..."
She couldn't think of any Garou who would be so cruel as to bind a wyld spirit in this place. She grew angry. Had they taken a break from killing kin to torment spirits as well? "Why did they do this?" she asked. "What purpose could they possibly have for keeping you here?

"So everyone is around and we are in middle!" Vasara shouted as he watched the vines to see them coming and go in their way if they tried to hit Anna or Kamut. "We knew Wyld and Weaver, but Wyrm too! This will end up in quite a party!" Vasara laughed over the wailing. "My rucksack is not dedicated, nor are the cocktails." Vasara answered to Saxon.
"Anna, try to hurry, we don't want to stay trapped here any longer than we have to!"
((dodge, abort to intercept if vines attack Anna or Kamut))
