Tuesday 14th, Early Morning There is no sleep more eventful than the one spent near the heart of Owl's Caern. Jess and Jona slept on the rug near the fire as the warder had advised. There were worse places to sleep.
Jess' sleep was restless, her dreams were convoluted and long and difficult to remember. At most, she remembers glimpes of scenes that for some reason left a strong imprint in her mind. A grey wolf, a new moon, and a screeching sword that sent its enemies fleeing in fear.
Jona's dreams were more focused, his thoughts more organised, and when he woke up, he found the dream was still clear in his mind. He was standing under a large tree, holding his hand out with his palm facing upwards. His palm was filled with shiny coins. He was waiting for something. He just wasn't sure what yet. Jess was standing next to him, giving him a rather puzzled but somehow amused look. "What are you doing?" she asked.

Jess sits up and rubs her eyes to clear away the sleep as she tries to sort through what she can remember of the dream.Something to do with a Ragabash and a fetish sword? There was someone with a sword last night, wasn't there? It hadn't been screaming, though. A sword that sends its foes running in fear certainly didn't sound like something to cut through a Bane's illusions, but perhaps it could be used to clear the re-enforcements? She waits for Jona to look a little more with it before asking what he'd experienced.

Jona rubbed his eyes and yawned. That had seemed a little pointless. There was really nothing to say the dreams weren't just the usual recycling his brain did when he was asleep. If he went chasing these random clues, he'd probably end up on a wild goose chase.
"Do you reckon they have food at a library?" he asked Jess as he stretched and stood up. "I could do with breakfast. So did you have any prophetic dreams?"

Jess stays sitting by the fire for a bit longer. "Something to do with a ragabash. And a sword. Some fetish weapon which makes its master's enemies run away, I think. But nothing more useful than that."

Jona listened to the dream, but seemed less optimistic about its meaning. "Anything special?" he asked. "I mean, what's to say this is a sign? It could just be our dreams. We'd be off chasing them based on something a Silent Strider said..."
After walking around aimlessly for a few seconds, he found the kitchen.
"Well, you've got to hand it to those Glass Walkers," he said. "They do think of everything." He started going through the cupboards in search for something to make for breakfast.

One could say a lot things about Zachary, but his tribal paranoia was strong. As Jona arrived to the kitchen, Zachary also arrived, eating a meaty sandwich that seemed a bit old and looking around him sideways. As he noticed Jona, his eyes returned to look at the Gnawer fully. "Hello there" the ahroun said.

"Well I don't remember anything about a screaming sword," Jess says as she ambles into the kitchen after Jona, "so I don't think it was entirely my head. But it doesn't exactly give us much to work with, you're right there. Maybe if you tell me what you got, I could go bounce ideas off Cat." She looks over at the other person in the room, first with suspicion, then relaxing a bit as she remembers she's nearly at the heart of the Caern, so he was probably both clean and safe to talk around.
"Heya." She leans against the wall next to the door, facing the Shadow Lord. "Jess, Jona," she says with a smi8le and a small gesture of her hand to indicate who the names are attached to "you?"

"Our brains make stuff up as well," Jona shrugged. "Although if we actually do find a screaming sword, we might be getting somewhere... unless you heard someone mention it already, but forgot."
Jona's scepticism could be very annoying at times. "Hey," he said to the stranger. He hadn't really been expecting them to be alone after all. He looked at the boy's clothes for a bit, and didn't bother to hide his disapproval. He just went back to talking to Jess.
"Maybe we should ask the locals about that sword then," he said. "I just remember standing under a tree, holding money. Guess I was spreading the wealth, or something."

Jona's raid on the cupboards turns up nothing but some sugar and a tin of tea. It seems that the Caern is not short on moochers, but whoever it is that bothers to keep the kitchen stocked is apparently on holiday.

Zachary smiles very shyly at Jess. " Born from Dark Wish, or Wish for short, Shadow Lord Ahroun cliath" the boy said and continued to eat. Noticing that there was nothing in the cupboards, Zachary opened his backbag and took out few sandwiches, putting them on the table. " Here, I was going to eat them, but it seems this place is unkept"

Jess looks quizzically at the Shadow Lord, but passing up free food is not something she's prone to, so she grabs a sandwich. "Thanks. You know anything about a screaming sword?" Standing under a tree holding money... doesn't ring any bells with her, so she files it away for now.

Zachary shooks his head. "No, I have not, one girl here has a sword" Zachary said and sat down, tapping the table with his finger in thought.

The offer of food did little to change Jona's attitude towards the stranger. He seemed to have taken an instant dislike to Zachary, his suit, and his meat sandwiches.
"It's a start," he said to Jess. "One of the Fenrir from yesterday did have a sword. It's not often you find Fenrir who hide behind weapons, so there might have been something special there." He looked around for a kettle. "Funny, I thought I was supposed to be the one dreaming of pretty girls..."

Jess laughs aloud at Jona's comment. The thought of him trying it on with a Fenrir and the likely result of that passes through her mind, and she shakes her head, still smiling. "Well if she shows up, we can ask her. Otherwise... oh, yeah. The big guy in charge of Slagbroder gave us a message for you lot. Something like 'sort yourselves into packs or we'll hit you lots.'" She shrugs.

Zachary looked at Jess very confusedly. " I am trying my best to find a pack for myself, miss, but things will rarely happen with claw and fang when it comes to forming a packs" he said and finished his breakfast and looked at the two Gnawers. " But, thank you for the message"
