Vasara waited patiently for Kamut and Saxon to return. He had hoped to get to know at least few places to ambush the hounds but this was better than nothing. "Do you know anything about these hounds or surrounding area, Anna? Anything at all? We are deep behind the lines here, we need to know everything we can before doing decisions."
"Maybe they are here. But it does not matter. Whatever there is, we need to destroy it." Vasara said to Anna and thought the situation over. "Could that globe be some reflection from the real world?" He turned to Kamut "You think you could find the place of that globe from the other side of the Gauntlet?"

"I have a feeling that, whatever is happening, it will only get stronger the longer we prepare." Kamut shrugs, and nods to Vasara. "That's only a hunch. I will find it and report back." Kamut paused to see if he had any more instructions, before stealthily making his way back to the banes and the tainted area and making sure he is well-hidden from anyone passing by. Once he's sure he's going to go unnoticed, he peeks across the gauntlet quickly, returning as soon as he's sure whether it's safe to step across or not.

As Kamut's eyes pierced the Gauntlet, he saw three figures standing around an open book on what looked like a tree stump. It looked like the place Kamut was standing in wouldn't be safe to step sideways from as there were 5 other figures spread around the area. It looked like two of the figures were very close to where he was standing as well.
However, as Kamut came back to his senses, he noticed out of the corner of his eye, that the sphere had another black thread that was running out of it. As he watched, the sphere itself seemed to be growing outwards, the chill feeling inside of him getting stronger as he stood there.
Kamut's instincts told him that this wasn't a safe place anymore and to get out of there as quickly as possible. Even as he looked away from the sphere he could see that the Blight was growing as well.

"And if they're too powerful to take straight on we'll pick them apart piece by piece." Nadya grins. "Bane-hounds don't sound like the brightest of opponents."

"They're not," Anna agreed. "But if they swarm us... even the warwolf had trouble with multiple enemies. We should lure them out and take them down one by one. We shouldn't have too much trouble with them." She was more worried about this thing the owl had talked about, and whatever it was Kamut had seen. It wasn't something she'd ever heard of before. "Would it be safe to fight in the physical world? In Crinos?" she asked. "It's night and out of the way... but you never know."

Vasara looked at Kamut "We will all follow you this time. With a good distance of course."
"I don't know yet. Something is causing that... thingie." Vasara struggled with the concepts "If it is in Umbra, we fight in umbra, if the cause is in physical world, we will fight there."
"Plan against the hounds seems to be quite simple anyways. Kamut can lure them one by one to us, and we kill them or die trying." Vasara looked around for anything he might find useful "If we get swarmed, we will retreat, regroup and ambush our pursuers."

Vasara and the pack stopped a little further behind while Kamut blurred and headed towards the strange sphere. From where they stood, they couldn't quite see the hounds or the sphere, but could make out movement in the distance that wasn't Kamut. It was mostly the banes he'd warned them about.

Kamut sidles up to the group, only breaking his concealment a few metres away and returning gradually to Homid form. "Eight figures stand in the physical world, human-sized. Three standing around a tree stump with a book on it. The other five are spread around the area close by." He shrugs. "I can't say if they have any significance, but I would think they're worth investigating."

"Eight? Well, what are the odds that they would be at that precise place at this precise moment?" Vasara didn' like this at all. "Could they actually be the cause for those... things?"
Vasara never too much minded about getting down and dirty. Most of the time he just wanted to know what he was fighting against. "We need to get something out of them. Sense taints or anything like that. And whatever they are doing, we must make them stop doing it."
Vasara drew the surroundings into the ground with his claw. "We will strike them down. Where are they positioned?"

"The physical world and spiritual world interact in mysterious ways." It's a cryptic statement, but Kamut can't even guess at what this unknown group are doing.
"I agree that it's unusual for them to be here, and unlikely for them to be in this exact place. I could not risk the time with my senses and body seperated to check their taint, but once I am in the physical world fully I will do so immediately." Kamut indicates towards the area he had peeked from, and tells them the approximate distance.

"The owl did say someone was tainting the land," Anna said. "If the eight are a Spiral Pack, we might need help bringing them down. Maybe we can lure them into the Umbra, and the warwolf can join us. As long as the hounds don't join the fight, we should be fine with his help."
"Of course, we'd need to make sure they are spirals first. If they're only human, maybe they're not really aware of what they're doing. We can just make them stop it." That might have sounded a little naive, but then Anna still wasn't very used to the idea of murdering humans, even if they were unwittingly serving the Wyrm.

"There are eight of them and we don't know who they are or what they are doing. If they are Spirals, we need to take them down decisively. If they are not, then they will die for harming Gaia. When we go to physical world, if we slow down, we might get in trouble. Odds are against us if they actually know what they are doing." Vasara said coldly.
"If they are just dabblers, then the book might be important. If they are not, we might die if we hesitate." Vasara didn't like the idea of killing some kids doing some gay roleplay-act, but he would tear them all down if they threatened Gaia. And they were threatening Her now.
"If Anna pushes me, Saxon and Nadezhda into physical realm with her, we might be able to take down few of them by surprise no matter what they are. If we immediately after the strike retreat and Anna manages to pull us back into umbra, we might split their forces even more."
"That would be a great moment for Kamut to sneak in and snatch the book. If it is important, some of them would definitely try to get it back. If it is not, then some of them definitely will try to kill you. You can run a large circle with the book in your teeths and bring the pursuers back to us, giving us time to kill anyone and anything that might try to follow us to umbra and return back to physical world to greet your pursuers"
Vasara looked at other to make sure they understood the plan. "Suggestions? I remind you that with eight of them, we really can't lose the element of surprise. If they are just some nerds, then they are and we have to live with it. If they are eight-member Spiral-group, we will die unless we manage to thin their numbers by surprise."

Nadya shrugs. "Sounds good to me." With that, she shifts to Crinos form, ready for the killing.

Kamut hesitates for a moment, but doesn't have much choice but to try to intervene. "Wait, you can't just kill them without knowing for sure. To kill innocents is a crime, one punishable by death." He glances at Nadya, unsuprised by her happy acceptance. "Please, let me go through and check if they have taint first. I will not reveal our presence to them."

So far, Saxon remained silent through the discussion. Like Nadya, he was itching to start the fight and prove to the warwolf they were worthy. "I don't believe in coincidences," he said. "They are here and tainting the land, and as Anna said, they're doing it willingly. They're not innocents."
