Simeon returned to the building a few minute early, he was rather eager for this date. Yes, he was here to get information, but Justina was cute, and it had been a bit of time since he had actually thought about seeing a female. As he had headed back he had picked up a singe rose, one that was yellow with a center that was a pinkish-orange.
He had walked up to the doors, long enough to wave at her and let her know he was here, but otherwise he waited outside, his 'gift' held behind him as he waited.

The security guard spotted Simeon first and with a knowing smirk, he waved over to Justina to get her attention and indicate her date had arrived. She checked her watch and quickly picked up her purse and headed out to meet him at the door.
"Hi," she said, smiling brightly at him. "Did you find the place you were looking for?"
She looked quite relieved to see that his 'cousin' wasn't with him. "So where are we going?"

Simeon gave her a broad grin and made a flourishing bow, taking her hand and kissing it. Straightening back up he took the rose from behind his back and held it to her. "Indeed I did, and as a token of my appreciation I bring this pale gift to the beauty you posses both out and inside." Even as he spoke he gave her a playful wink, to let her know that he was well aware his words were over the top, but the smile indicated they rang true as well.
Taking her arm he started down the steps and away from the building. "And now, where shall we take our meal, my treat. I insist."

Justina seemed to actually like Simeon's over-the-top charm, maybe it was because he was exotic and foreign, or just because it was something different. But he could tell she was interested in him as she took the rose with a smile and let him take her arm.
"I know a cafe not far from here," she said. "We can walk. It's just around the corner."

"Wonderful! Lead the way my Dear." Simeon was really enjoying this, and he offered a silent prayer to Gaia that Justina was nothing more than a secretary, he found he liked her, and it would be a shame to have to kill her if she was the enemy.
"It must be nice to get out of that place and get some fresh air. It looks so dismal from the outside." He walked beside her, making sure to keep pace with her, as well as kept his attention on her. "My Cousin," and he rolled his eyes at that "heard some people talking in the parking lot about someone dying. Very sad."

"It is," Justina said. "I haven't been here very long, but my co-workers aren't really the type you want to join for lunch. They're a bit..."
She trailed off, not wanting to sound like a gossip who spoke ill of her co-workers to Simeon. She changed the subject.
"Oh yes, Josef I think it was, in the law department?" she said uncertainly. "It was in the paper this morning. He shot his wife and then himself. It was really shocking. I'd never met him, but to think worked in the same building as me, it's still a little frightening, and sad."

“Always a sad thing, Death. I am sure it has only added to the whole feeling of that place.” He gave her an empathetic look, as he patted her hand. “But that aside, tell me a bit more about yourself.” He graced her with another smile as he listened. He had time to get the information out of her, but saw no reason to get pushy and rush. He intended to enjoy the ‘date’ and Justina’s company. After the earlier events he needed this break, even if it was a ‘working’ one persay.

Justina nodded, and looked like the subject made her a little uncomfortable. "As if the place wasn't bad enough already," she said with a shudder.
She smiled as he changed the subject. "Oh, same old boring stuff," she said. "I've pretty much lived in Berlin all my life. I'd really love to travel though."

Simeon gave Justina a genuine smile when she mentioned travel “So do I. I have been to England and as of late traveling Europe with a…” he paused as he recalled the German word for ‘carnival.’ “A traveling carnival.”
Having reached the Restaurant, he waited til they were seated to continue on. At first he kept the conversation light, talking about his travel and trying to get more information out of her as well, about her. Only when he felt she was totally at ease would he steer the conversation back to her work. Reaching over the table, he rested a hand lightly on hers as he looked at her. “I think, you have a lot of hidden strengths, but that place it eats at you and you really need to talk about it. To lighten your soul as it were. And sometimes…an impartial ear is always a good one.” He finished with an encouraging smile that invited her to open up to him and take him into her confidence.

Justina seemed a little confused as to what he meant at first, but the conversation had turned to work. She felt she could talk to him, even if he was a stranger. He made talking easy.
"It's... silly," she said. "But I'm not usually like this. In my old job, people were different. Here, everyone seems to be a little strange. Most people don't even respond to you if you talk to them. They act like robots all the time. And then this thing on the news, it's not the first incident. I've... looked it up, and the company has the highest suicide rate in Berlin, even in Europe."
She must have realised she sounded a little paranoid. She forced a smile. "It's probably just stress," she said. "It's always like this when you start a new job I suppose."

By the time she had finished Simeon had edged his hand from resting on her to lightly holding it. Giving it a comforting squeeze he smiled at her. “you know… Maybe it is because they are all those brainy types…so busy making weapons they don’t pay attention to the real world.” As he offered the words of comfort, he made a mental note to look up the company more and these deaths. And maybe a word with one of the elders about Weaver spirits…maybe that was the reason for the deaths. Simeon wasn’t sure, since he had never really looked at Weaver Spirits too hard, save to avoid their webs.
“Though it is a pity, I would think it would be interesting to hear them talk about what they do. Make you feel like you were in some sort of Science fiction movie like Star Wars.” As he spoke he put his hand under her chin and lifted her head and smiled at her.
“You know, as I said I am new as well…and perhaps I can at least try to brighten your days and come spend lunch with you, as time permits?” A glance at time had shown her lunch break was more than likely close to over, and it was going to take more than one setting to get information out of her. Though on a side note, it wasn’t a bad idea or thought to him.

Justina laughed a little, and lightened up considerably.
"I think I could live with that," she said with a bit of a grin. "Lunch breaks are a little short, so if you ever feel up to dinner, give me a call."
It was close to two o'clock already, and Simeon still needed to walk her all the way back to the company building. Although she seemed reluctant to leave, she had to get back to work at some point.
"I will see you soon then?" she asked.

"Give me your phone number and I am sure we can work in a dinner or three as well as some lunches. And as soon as I have a place of my own, I am staying with some friends at the moment, I will give you mine as well." Even as he spoke he wondered if the Library even had a phone number, or even a phone. "I will get the number and return tomorrow to give It to you." Looking a bit guilty he admitted "I admit I don't know the number...I don't normally call myself."
Getting up he offered her his arm once more, as he led her form the eatery. It was honestly a but sad at the prospect of ending the meal, it had been very enjoyable.
