Zachary shifts to lupus, there was no point for him to speak, but more than enough for him to look around and scout.

Em nodded slowly, they could do that, and Jona's words confirmed her thoughts as he spoke them out loud. She gave a glance to the rest, She was sure raven meant them all even those not in their pack, but she was sure even they would keep up and contribute in this. She really hoped that her new pack mate realized that this was for all six, and to send that point home she asked "You mean this for all of us? Even those who do not fly under merlin, but run with us to further the greater good?"
She was verse enough in unspoken language to realize there was some issues concerning the packless with the other two. She didn't know what those issues are, but both Jona and Jess needed to realize they needed to put those feelings aside, or Raven will know and they would more than likely fail in this.

The last bit was lost when the girl both shifted to spirit talk, but the Raven’s reply was clear enough. With a slight bow of his head he also agreed to the terms. Though in true Simeon fashion he couldn’t help but not reply. “Well, if I am not blessed with this task, I will ensure who ever is that their deed will not ever be forgotten. Your song will be sung and heard by all.” And indeed part of him was already looking ahead and what could be as the musician in his soul took the reins and began to thing in terms of music and verse.

Jess looks up, and then at Jona. Emelie's words were too open for her. The packless guys needed to come on this. 'Cause if they didn't, she was going to loose a packmate. It's selfish, she knows, but she doesn't care. She doesn't want Jona to die.
"For that matter," she asks the spirit in its own tongue, "what is it. If that's not part of the challenge, knowing what we're after might help figuring out who might've nicked it. Or hidden it, or whatever. And where it might be."

Hands of Mercy looks up at the spirit and nods. The Sept needed this weapon. And so they would get it. He is not so stupid or arrogant to believe the task would be easy, but he has faith enough in those present to believe that it was within their reach. For now he lets the wisdom hunters ask the questions, while listening for replies to see if anything jogs his memory of the sagas.
He looks over as Simeon speaks and nods too at him. "One of us will. Or both."

"The Silver Moon was once mine. It was taken by the Rat Mother's children who dwell beneath the earth, and hidden from my sight. You might not all fly under Merlin, but you were set this task together. You will do it together, or you will fail."
Then the weeping willow closed its branches on the Raven and it disappeared from view.

Now that the Raven was no longer demanding his attention, Jona turned to other pressing issues. He gestured for the others to follow him until they were a short distance from the tree. Then he glared at the non-pack with all the rage of an Ahroun at full moon, and started his tirade.
"Good job," he said. "I knew I shouldn't have agreed to this. We would have had the banner by now if I hadn't. Whatever happened to deferring to the Alpha? That was the main condition of coming along, and you broke it at the one time it mattered the most. I said the Jess and Emelie talk to the Raven, and guess why, because they know to do it without pissing off an important spirit we happen to need a favour from." He glared at Zachary in particular. "And you," he groaned. "What the hell was that all about? How can you even call yourself Cliath if you don't know how to behave in front of spirits. You keep your mouth shut from now on. Understood?"
He obviously wasn't done, because he took a deep breath and continued to rant. "There is a reason none of you can carry the banner, and this is it," he said. "You don't have a pack. You wouldn't last two minutes out there against the bane. You want to do your thing and be a rebel, fine, but you will not endanger my mission and my pack's mission."
With his rage vented, he turned to Em and Jess and took another deep breath. "The rat mother's children," he said with a bit of a grim smile. "We're old friends, them and I. I look forward to seeing them again."

Hands of Mercy, still in his war form, waits until Jona had finished his tirade before replying.
"I have not failed to treat you as alpha of this group. I would challenge any alpha's right to make that decision alone outside of battle. The spirit is right, we do not know one another well enough to know who should carry the burden, but that does not just mean that we do not know you, the reverse is true as well. Do you truely believe that while you carry the banner, these two Theurges can guard you from the Wyrm's assault? They would die in seconds and you would lead them to their deaths. The Sept would be better served by a pack of warriors who can better hold back the Wyrm's minions."
"Packs have been formed before for the sake of a single battle. I could name dozens. If one of the three of us takes up the banner, I shall be able to name one more. Three warriors under the patronage of perhaps Boar would be better able to hold the banner aloft than mystics under a totem of Wisdom. I shall be sure to defer to your experience and authority in spirit matters, and in the dealings with these rat-spirits, but do not dismiss our ability to hold our own in battle."

Again, Zachary felt Rage groan in his body, and he allowed his form to turn into homid. " What I-I am? I can't speak well t-to annyone. The spirit did not anger for it" he said, his usual mumblyness and muttering still there. " W-we argued, it did not like that" he added then let out a loud growl and looked at Jona, now with anger clearly in his eyes. " Alpha.said.I.listen.I.did.YOU.pack.you.LIVE" he growled out, feeling his form nearly slip to glabro.

Jona's rage had already been vented, so he didn't fly off the handle again. He was still angry though. In theory, Hands of Mercy's pretty words had a point. But only in theory. "Really? And who is going to be that pack of warriors? You three? Two Galliards and a boy who doesn't know his arse from his elbow? You'll last even less than us. If I recall, all I saw was you two running away while the Spiders swarmed me and Jess. I'd trust two Theurges to watch my back sooner than you, thanks."
He looked at Zachary. "Then don't speak at all," he said. "If you piss off the Ratkin things can get really bad really fast." He ignored his last incoherent remark. He obviously didn't like repeating himself.
"Now we get this Silver Moon thing," he said. "We step sideways and head back into the city. Berlin's ratkin are sewer dwellers. They shouldn't be too hard to find."

Simeon shook his head "Well, I see we might as well leave now. Even after being told we have to work together were are still argueing.." The words may have sounded light but the meaning behind them was clear. They were starting to fall back to arguing again and that would get them no where. "Hands and I will pack up, that much is already clear, So you do not need to worry about us, we can and will look after each other. As for that last battle, you obviously missed the tactics part where were were told to keep the spiders busy. We did what were were directed Vasra, who I might add ranks you. You want to discus his choice of use for out abilities feel free. I am sure the 'girls' there would love to sit out the fight while you heal up from that 'talk'. "Now, let's stop squawking, and find this item the Raven wants...and if Hands or I end up with the banner we will pack up, and if the elders feel that is not enough we will join the war pack, whom I am sure even you feel are well capable defending and protecting whom ever holds the banner." Simeon oddly had kept his voice in a rather neutral tone the whole time, but the force of his personality was obvious as he kept his own rage in check and used it to calm others down as well, they'd do no good rushing off in that state. Looking over at Jona he nodded "Sounds good, but we are well out of the city if my sense of timing isn't too far off. Should we at least run in here in a form faster then two legs, before stepping sideways again? ((I am using persuasion this time ))

Hands of Mercy's growl subsides quickly as Simeon says what he had meant to. He smiles as Simeon confirms his wish to form a pack together, though on the scarred lupine face, it would take a Garou to recognise the expression. There was only one thing he felt the need to correct. "It was Cloud-Dancer-rhya who decided on the tactics." He then looks at Jona, awaiting a response.

"And we got swarmed in seconds 'cause some idiot put the pack of mystics on the front line..." Jess mutters in response to Jona's rant. Then she raises her voice to speak more clearly "Come on, let's go meet your old buddies and get this done." From what Jona had said of the critters in the past, this was not going to be a simple job. In fact, it was probably going to be at least as dangerous as the battle coming up.

It was hard to ignore Simeon's words, and they sounded sincere enough for Jona to start considering the alternatives. Maybe they were trustworthy after all, even if they were suspiciously packless.
"Good to hear you're finally owning up and making a commitment then," he said. "Even though I doubt the two of you have much more of a chance than us, I have no reservations about challenging you both for the banner. After we get the Silver Moon."
He considered Simeon's suggestion and shook his head. "Better not to step sideways in the middle of the city and alert the weaver," Jona said. "Jess can pull Em and me through but you might have some trouble. And it'll be harder to find a safe place. We walk to the nearest road and either hitch a ride or get a taxi." He looked at Zachary. "You can even be the hero and pay for it."

Zachary gave a glare at Jona. " Is that being a hero to you? Of course I pay" he growled and then looked at the the other five garou present. Again, the feeling of maybe failing again brought some unwanted anger up. " We should do that separate, too many odd people and it will be suspicious" he hissed and the took out his wallet and pushed more than enough money on Jona's hands. " Give rest to charisty" Zachary said, his voice as growly as usual.
