I had been hoping to finish chapter 4 before we break for the holidays, but it seems this will not be possible. The new target for finishing the chapter will be sometime in March, I think.
It's time for that annoyingly festive part of the year. I don't care much for festivities myself, but enough players do for us to take a break this month. Holiday away time starts this Monday (so those of you who have final exams don't need to worry about posting). We'll be back around mid to late January. As usual, I will send an email around and let those who have stopped checking know we're back.
So Happy Everything, and I hope you'll all still be around next year to pick up where we left off.

Gosh, I hate being left hanging, but I could use the break.
I still be here next year, I hope. School might cause a conflict, but none foreseen for the moment.
Happy Everything as well.

Works for me. Things are some what evening out but yes it is the Holidays and it falls upon me this year to make sure everything goes smoothly =p So Happy holidays, merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, merry Kwanzaas, happy solstice and every other "politically correct" holiday term I can think of Tams

I think you covered everything, Tammi. I hope things look better for you in 2010.
I'll officially be back Jan 17th. I'm not sure I'll start things up again then (depends on whether or not everyone else is back as well). But no need to check back before then at least.

Hi all. It's next year. I will be easing back into the game this weekend and we should be fully functional by Monday.
Here is a quick refresher as to where everyone is:
1. The sewers: Simeon, Hands of Mercy, Jona, Jess, Emelie. This is the most important bit to finish as the chapter's progress is tied to the end of this quest. I'll resume posting there soon, just waiting for the meanies to post the vermin.
2. The streets:
Sidequest for Konstantin and David Will start up a thread in the streets as soon as Konstantin posts at the Caern.
3. Ragnarok
Saxon and Vasara (Sort out Saxon's challenge for rank before the moot.) The rest of the pack is in downtime till the full moon.
4. The Caern
Adran and Katrine (Not sure about Katrine. Please give me a poke if you're still around. Otherwise I will resume this thread with just Adran for now.)
5. The porn shop
Nadya - we're almost done here.
6. Moscow
I need to sort out a private thread for Adiyah. The rest of you are in downtime till the full moon. Consider this a chance for you to establish allies and contacts and learn some things you can't learn in Berlin. If you have any ideas, send me a PM telling me what you want to do, and I'll start up a thread. Specific tribal gifts are probably not an option unless you're playing a Glass Walker here.
Your xp and renown is up too, feel free to spend your xp in Moscow.

How are we doing the challenge for Saxon?

What he's got to do is approach someone of Fostern rank or higher (I'm thinking Vasara since he's his alpha) and tell him he is ready to be recognised as a Fostern. Then Vasara will decide on the challenge.
You can start this wherever you like, although the Caern or the Black Room at Ragnarok are the ideal places.

Of course if you want a really fun challenge you should make it to Slit-throat-Packmangler.

In my worlds, you shouldn't really challenge a pack-mate for Rank, in the same way they can't do a Rite of Accomplishment for you. You should then generally go for a member of your tribe or auspice if possible... which I think would leave you with Slit-throat...
Of course, that's just my tuppence, not anything official here.

I'm here! I'm sorry, I posted before I read this. I assume Maria and I are still cleared to go in Moscow or is the thread going to be different?
I was on a late January vacation, but no plans to be absent for any length of time in the near future. Promise.
