Simeon had to stumble back to keep the fires from burning him to a crisp. He heard the cry of pain from the scout, and the explosion that ensued. He had to back away quite a bit to avoid the flames, but he quickly started to realise he was getting surrounded by them. He had lost sight of both Danny and Konstantin, and was starting to wonder if he even knew the direction to the Caern.

If this wasn't the shits. Simeon thought. But it was no time to cuss or debate on an action. Direction be damed as he made a break for the area with no or minimal amount of flames. His hands and arms held high and over his face and eyes. Only once he was past them would he stop and reassess where he was.

Simeon pushed through the thick forest, away from the fire. He had been set on fire not long ago, and it had hurt so badly it had sent him into a frenzy. He didn't want to experience that again.
Once he was sure he was somewhat safe from being burnt alive at least, he stopped and got his bearings and noticed he was straying too far north. He would reach the main road soon if he continued this way. He could hear sirens now, signalling the arrival of the fire brigade.
He could hear something else too. It was a lot more subtle and it was only barely audible in the sound of the roaring flames. It sounded like sloshing liquid, and it wasn't too far away.

"Mother always said curiosity killed the cat...but since I am no cat...." He whispered to himself. slowly he began to move in the direction of the noise, confident his gift was still working he knew who or what ever would not hear him.
((Gonna go play peek a boo and see who or what is sloshing.))
