Konstantin and Kasiya followed the sniper across the gauntlet. She was there, in the Umbra, grinning at them. The forest was unrecognisable. Blood splattered the area which had been burnt beyond recognition by the green flame. Konstantin and Kasiya could only hope that the charred corpses were not their sept-mates. Banes and Werewolves surrounded the area. They counted three packs, although the bald black Crinos stood alone, his packmates missing. They gathered in groups around the burnt clearing. In total, Konstantin and Kasiya counted at least eight of them, and a handful of banes. They also recognised the prisoners: Wissenfalken, minus Emelie, and Katrine and Adran. Of the four, only Adran seemed to be conscious.
And three women stood at the centre. One was old and bent, and her face was hideous and deformed. The second was a stern-faced middle-aged woman. And the third was Konstantin's own daughter, a pretty girl with auburn hair, staring at the ground, looking a little frightened.
A book lay open on the ground, in front of the kneeling old woman. She looked up and smiled at them too.
"You're not the ones I was waiting for," she said.

Kat slowly opened an eye, then quickly tried to play death and lay quite, it be better if they did not know she was awake, before she found out what her situation was and counted her options.
(Need info on damage, if we are bound, Tyrfing and more)

Katrine woke to find herself in the Umbral forest. It took her a moment or two to realise what had woken her. It was the familiar voice of her ancestors. She was feeling slightly dizzy but otherwise seemed unhurt. She noticed something was keeping her upright, and when she tried to move, she found it was the iron shackles that kept her from falling over. They bound her wrists, and were large and heavy enough to keep even a Crinos from breaking them.
She heard someone groan as he stirred next to her. It was Adran, badly hurt but coming around. Tyrfing was nowhere to be found.
Adran is on 6 levels of (bashing) damage. Katrine is unhurt.

Katrine tried to focus on what her ancestor was telling her, she had at least one idea for an escape plan. She planned to use the gift Open Seal to free the both of them, but first she needed to hear her ancestor, catch Adran attention, so he was prepared and try avoiding that the guards catch on to her plan.

Adran really wanted to stay unconscious, but he forced himself to remain awake. As he became aware of his surroundings, Adran didn't like so many Black Spirals around him, but the book occupied his attention. Noticing Christiane, Adran was really unhappy at her betrayal, because she was the only non-garou that knew where the book was. As it was somewhat futile to escape at this moment, Adran hoped that none of the banes knew him from the Munich Hive.

Noticing that Adran was awake, Joni turned away from what she was doing and faced him. She smirked at him and said, "You awaken. I had hoped that you would, so that you can see what happens next. It was rather clever of you to tell my student where the book was. It saved you a great deal of trouble."
Joni concentrated for a moment and then added, "I find it rather amusing that you managed to fool those Gaians for so long. You don't have to maintain your deception anymore. Your fellow Spirals would be glad to have you back among their number. Perhaps after all of this is finished, you can Dance the Spiral like you were meant to do back in Munich. Besides, I think that fetish of yours is almost used up anyway."
Satisfied with her speech, Joni turned back around to face Konstantin and Kasiya again.

Joni's speech caused every Black Spiral Dancer to turn around and look at Adran, making it for that moment impossible for Katrine to execute her plan. She did, however, feel the presence of her ancestors close by, even if the sword was gone, they were still here.
Suddenly, howls filled the night. They were the glorious howls of Garou marching into battle. That much was certain. But the odd thing about them was that they seemed to be coming from above. Every single eye in the clearing turned upwards. Seven flying figures could be seen up ahead. Two of them looked like spirits but Katrine's sharp eye recognised at least five of the Garou.
With everyone looking away, now was her chance to escape.

"Oh shit" was Adran's thought as Joni deftly revealed his secret. Now he had a pretty good choice ahead of him. Join the BSDs and finally step away from Gaia, or stay around and be killed by both Gaians and BSDs. His ancestors couldn't make the choice for him. He thought about Kat, who likely would kill him at the first opportunity, Vasara might contest the right to do so, but the end result would be the same. His father's pack had a nice grudge against him, and even if he survived Berlin and the Get, they would kill him. Since his dad was probably still quite mad with him, he might postpone his judgment until he was escorted back to Munich. Even with the CoG's peaceful nature, he would likely get the Hunt as punishment. Not even Danny would be able to help him out. He might be able to escape his hunters, but then he'd run into another set of persistent hunters.
He heard the howl, but due to being in homid was unable to answer it. Adran then turned to look at the nearest BSD and said in the corrupted tongue, "Get me out of these bonds so I can fight." Since his gifts wouldn't work, he could use the foul knowledge he'd gained in Munich to try and free himself, and perhaps Katrine when nobody was looking. He would decide who to side with after he got free.
