"Hey, this is MY place so behave yourself so I don't need to throw you through that door, punk!"
This is VIP-room, also known as "The Black Room", compared to sleazy outlook of main bar you could see this as five-star place.
It has leather couches and oaken furnitures, good air conditioning and lighting and help-yourself bardesk. Very few people are allowed to enter here, and if you want to piss bouncers off just try to sneak in.
No need to say, but this is invitation only place.

Vasara entered the material realm, appearing in middle of the room reserved only for Slagbröder and the garou who would enter with them. Appearing here without permission or following the pack propably would end in bloodshed, regardless who was the one dropping in.
"Finally..." Vasara took a deep breath and relaxed a lot as he shifted into homid. He sat on his chair and started absent-mindedly to check his few molotovs. The rags needed to be tied well around the bottle so they wouldn't fall off too early. "You knew something about the Bane at the Wall? Care to share your info with us? We basically know it is big, it is tough and it hides in illusions. Shakes and moves the earth too, kinda like quicksand if you get close enough. And it has horde of Banes around it." Vasara looked at 'Gnawers as he spoke. "Very entertaining." he grinned widely.
He started to think what all they needed to do. He needed to see Karin and start a hunt to break the Spirals way in. The Crab was another issue, and he tried to figure out how to lure Horde away from it so they could kill their prey. There was definitely need for supporting Pack there... Too bad Vasara didn't trust others to be tough enough to survive such an encounter. And now this new place. "Did anyone notice anything inside that building that we have not mentioned yet or know anything about it in general? Cloud-Dancer-rhya didn't even tell us what that building is on this side of the Gauntlet."
"By the way. Don't take this as permanent invitation to come here. Never come here without one. This is our den and I don't mind if too nosy people ends up permanently missing after visiting here without our permission." he finally said to non-Slagbröder garou. Just to make sure everyone understood what needed to be understood.

"Yvonne also said it tormented the spirits around it," Anna contributed. "It somehow made them weaker."
She was back in homid, sitting in a chair and turned to look at Vasara. "If the Spirals made some kind of deal with the bane, that might be how they're getting in," she said. "None of our allies dare get close to it, so they wouldn't know if they are getting in that way. Even the Ratkin would miss them. That makes our plan to kill it a lot more urgent. And even when we do, we're leaving ourselves wide open. We'll need a guardian at the gate. A spirit we can convince to leave their home and instead take up residence in this."
It didn't sound like an easy task, but she was already thinking of a Spirit that might be convinced, if approached the right way. "Actually... I think I know someone who might do it," she said.

Saxon went to the bar and got two bottles of beer, passing Vasara he handed him one and then took a seat himself. "Help yourself to drinks, Nadya if you want an umbrella we are out you will have to get one from the bar." He smiled at her before taking a swig of the beer.
He looked at Anna and Jess, "It is a good rule that if you can help them you do and if you think another can help then you ask for it. You are both Theurges, the spirits are your thing, get your heads together and give us answers." He knew he was basically repeating what Vasara had said but nothing annoyed him more than people for whatever reason not helping or sharing information.
Then his attention drifted to Vasara, "We need to prioritise otherwise we are all over the place and we need info on the Spirals. We need to do the heavy fighting stuff but the other packs need to be doing the recon. We have to get organised."

Jess arrives in the room behind Jona. She's still looking somewhat pissed off, but seems to have cooled a bit on the way over. She tries to reply quickly, before the older woman tries to start another bitching contest, and tries to focus on the task at hand. Succeeding at least for now, her tone is a lot less accusatory than it was before.
"So, we've got a big crab-spirit that can control the earth, commands illusions and can weaken other spirits around. I'm not quite sure where the earth bit fits in, but the rest's easy. It's a manifestation of the division between the two halves of the city, and until it's destroyed, the city can't heal. That division, mistrust, fear and hatred, well, I can see why it's got the illusions, and weakening and sapping the ability of others to fight back is rather what it does.
"Anyway, you've seen what it can do. What we're onto is a way to bring it down. A Gift, perhaps, or a talen, or a spirit which could help us, we don't know, but there's something in the city that will strip it of some of its power. Make the fight a whole lot easier.
"And while we're not doing that, I'd be happy to look into this building a bit. If something's messing with the spirits of the city, it needs fixing." To Anna's final comment, she looks over. "Who's that?" she asks with genuine curiosity.

Jona sat down and got comfortable. It wasn't every day he got allowed into a bar's black room. That wasn't usually reserved for the little people. It was for rich jerks or friends of the owner, usually another rich jerk. He scowled.
"Once that's done, there's just the wall," he said. "But that'll be untouchable until the wall dies in the physical world." He looked up. "We don't have it yet. We spent the better half of a year questing for this information. It's not easy stuff for a couple of Cliath to get hold of. We don't know what the answer is yet, but we know it's in the city. That's why we came to you, Walks-with-Death-rhya said you know more about this bane than anyone here."

Since Jess isn't saying anything else to provoke a fight, Nadya has nothing to be provoked by. She peers at her makeshift bandage while the others talk, then shifts it around a little and pulls it tighter. "We need to break the illusions, that's obvious enough. Once we can find the fucker we can bring all our strength to bear and rip it apart. There was a delay between us going there and all the banes turning up, I think they only turned up once Vasara started making a lot of noise." She grins at Vasara, then continues. "We might even be able to get enough time to kill it before reinforcements come. But then we need to deal with the pit it hides in, either by luring it out or somehow finding a way of fighting it while on the broken ground. Hispo would help that, since we'd be able to keep our balance better, but I don't know if that will be enough. Then, when we get past the illusions and either lure it out or manage to keep our footing we need to work on how to get through it's shell." She looks around at the pack. "But we've been working on tactics for that, so I think we're ready to handle that problem."

Kamut sits and listens quietly for a while, before answering Vasara's question. "The central block. There didn't seem to be a way into it, but..." He looks at Anna. "You said that's where you thought the wailing was coming from, yes? Why would there be an area that is inaccessible? If there was any way in there in the physical world then surely the gap would show in the spirit world. I suppose it could be an elevator shaft, but it's unusual that it wouldn't stop on the ground floor."

Vasara listened Anna's words carefully. She might have point, definitely worth consideration. "Not bad. really." Vasara said as he put amber necklace in front of Anna. "Now you are using your smarts. We or some other group can even test that theory by making an ambush close to Bane. If someone goes through, we should notice." Vasara raised his eyebrow "You might know someone to take the post?"
Vasara decided the theurges should talk about that, after all, it was their area of expertise and as much as Vasara wanted to participate, he knew he just didn't know enough. He took the beer and washed the dust of the city out of his throat. "Yeah, we can't do everything." he said to Saxon "And I don't even know where Dammerlicht is now." Vasara rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "And dozen lone wolves are always less than one functional, focused pack. I don't care if we antagonize everyone around us but if needed, I am ready to take things to such level that caern-crew and their buddies have to unite as packs. If not to fight against the Wyrm then just to find safety in numbers to avoid being harassed by us. We can later heal the rifts when they are strong enough to stand on their own feet and actually participate in this war." Vasara thought out loud with a stern voice. Other's would unite, wanted it or not. Then his thoughts wandered back to mr Crabby.
"There is a delay before Banes came, but if the Crab is tougher than we anticipate, we will either be swarmed on top of the Crab or when we are too wounded to keep on fighting or even run. We can't take the chance and go there alone. At least the illusions must be broken and someone needs to distract the banes. Is there any talens or something that might help us with the sand?"

"Yeah, and that something is Spirals," Anna said. "And you won't survive an encounter with these guys." Not unless they had some secret weapon for that too. Anna turned to focus on Vasara when he spoke, and when he handed her the necklace back, she couldn't help smile. She hadn't thought it would feel so terrible to lose it.
"I know a powerful war wolf of Fenris. A spirit that lives for war and vengeance. His home was plagued by banes. I helped him fight them off. With a war wolf at the gate, banes and spirals aren't going to get through easily. We'll have to convince him of our cause... actually, you will." She looked at Vasara. He was a true bred warrior of Fenris who had fought many battles. If any of them had a chance to rouse the war wolf to arms, it was him.

Saxon considered the words being spoken, "To attack the Crab we need at least all three packs. We need to be free to concentrate on the Crab whilst the other two shatter the illusions and keep the Banes or Spirals off our backs."
He nodded to Vasara, "As you say Dammerlicht seem to have buggered off without saying. Down the beach with their costumes and towels getting some rays for all we know. And to be honest the way this caern is run is a bit of a mess. We need to set up a Sept with a Sept Alpha to co-ordinate the actions of the packs. We are on a war footing and we best start acting like we are or else the Spirals are going to kick our asses but good." He drained the bottle and put it down, "As you say the loose wolves need to be herded into packs regardless if they like it or not. We need three packs up and running and ready to fight. So I suggest that we have a moot and get it sorted, once Dammerlicht come back from their Jolly that is, when ever that is."
Saxon smiled, "But we can make a start by rounding up the singles wandering around the place and get them into a pack."

Jess just grins back at Anna's words. "Then we fix what they've broken without getting spotted. If they can break it in the middle of territory you control..." she trails off with a mischievous smile that surely spells trouble for someone.
"But that's not a bad catch," she adds as Anna explains about the Fenris wolf. She trails off again as Saxon speaks. His talk of revolution sounds very much like Jona's frequent outbursts, albeit without the Marxist theme, but unlike Jona, he sounds a lot more... sane about it.

You've got a problem with loners in the city?" Jona shook his head disapprovingly. The young ones always thought they were invincible. A few new powers and they suddenly thought they could take on the Wyrm on their own. "Yeah someone needs to tell them it doesn't work that way in the Garou nation. The smallest unit is the pack, not the individual. The sooner they learn that the less likely they'll get killed. We're not selfish like humans. We work together, from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs."
They seemed to have trouble staying on topic. Jona tried to steer the conversation back to the bane at the checkpoint. "Anyway, you've seen the bane's illusions? How do they work? What did it show you?"

Nadya smirks as she heads to the bar, she doesn't have the same issues with lone wolves, having her own loner tendencies at times. The wound was starting to irritate her now the rush of battle and the gift of resistance had worn off, so she grabs a bottle of vodka from the bar and takes a gulp before returning to the others with the bottle. For a few precious seconds, she's quiet.

Kamut frowns at Saxon's suggestion. "If too many packs join the fight, then surely it will leave the Caern poorly-defended? It will be a large battle, and I would not be suprised if the banes reported back to the Black Spiral Dancers who could try to take advantage of the opportunity." He looks at Vasara to see how he will describe the illusion, since he'd obviously recognised what it was meant to be.
