Kaleb lost track of time and had spent a great deal of time away from the Caern. It had been a very long involved couple of months, running around the streets with random dogs, stealing food from passer byers and trying to make a name for himself among what many considered the slum of Berlin. In his mind they were some of the best contacts and people to know...who knows more about the streets, then the street folk?
Pushing the door open to the house, Kaleb whistled a tune of a recent pop song he heard on the radio of someone's car as they drove by him a while back.
He already knew the layout of the place and knew that very few of them would be around, Vasara was working, Danny doing...whatever the hell he does during the time he was not with the pack, Micah would be out in the woods of Berlin Kaleb assumed...so maybe that chick who knew mumbo jumbo magic tricks would be around! What great entertainment! Or that Edward with all that fancy smansy stuff that Kaleb could steal for a quick few bucks. Kaleb snickered at the idea and did a quick search of the house with his eyes and when finding nothing but some stale chip on a table top in the dinning room, Kaleb popped it in his mouth and plopped down on a nearby sofa.

As soon as he plopped down, ready to enjoy a quiet afternoon all by his lonesome, Danny materialised into the physical world and looked intent on ruining Kaleb's afternoon.
"There you are, I was looking for you," Danny said, although it wasn't really probable that he had been looking for Kaleb. "What are you eating?" Danny suddenly decided he didn't want to know. "Never mind, I was scouting the area with Micah. Looks like he found something interesting, or something interesting found him. Let's go have a look." The finality in his tone kind of got Kaleb feeling his beautiful afternoon was already ruined.

She had heard the voices, and one she recognized as Danny's. Walking into the kitchen she gave Danny a tenative smile and then looked curiously at Kaleb. Since Danny wasn't pounding him into some sort of pile of blood, he must be o.k.
Turning and giving Kaleb a smile "Kristen." she said offering him her name. And then back to Danny "Anything that needs done around here?"

Kaleb shrugged at the food inquiry and popped the rest of it in his mouth. Sighing at the thought of having his day ruined and his food festival interrupted Kaleb got off the couch lazily, and yawned.
"I guess. I kinda don't have much of anything to do." He didn't mind Micah nor helping him out, seemed that boy always needed a helping hand. Kaleb wondered what it was like to always need someone as a back up. As that magician came around, Kaleb smiled. She was pretty, hard not to look at her and enjoy the view. Doing a quick body oder check Kaleb extended his hand to the girl, after all she did offer it.
Hearing her name, He thought it only right to give his own and perhaps a bit more. "Kaleb. Danny and I were about to go help Micah out." Kaleb beamed with pride at Kristen.

"Yes, well assuming he needs it, he just disappeared," Danny added. "How's your leg? It looks better." He said to Khristina. "I remember you said you could find people? I could scry for him, but in a city like this I wouldn't get an exact reading, and I think we should be trying to find Jan... now that we're safe."
All this was overwhelming, and Vasara and Edward hadn't called back with any information about the missing Garou. He hoped they were alright, and at the same time wished there was a way to contact them.

Micah popped suddenly into their midst, panting hard and clearly having run. Alot. His ear's were laid flat against his head and his fur all muzzed as he padded over to where the other's had gathered.
Close enough to his sire, he looked up at his sire and gave a snort like sigh...shifting to homid as he did so. Human again...but still breathing hard...sweat showing on his bare chest. He ran a hand through his hair, pause to gather what all he'd seen. Wow...that was...wow...
"Found something ya should peck at...a little bird spirit lead me there." He fixed a calmer look on both Kaleb and Danny, before settling eye's on the new female. Hum...his face got thoughtful...didn't want to leave her here alone, but...was where they were going safer? He smiled at her, realizing he'd been just short of glaring at her. He looked back to Danny then. "Found...well, not sure what sort the blighter was, but found something. Hellhole on Gaia...east of the wall. Almost ate me...literally."
He plopped down to give his legs a quick rest, right there on the floor. "Didn't get close to it, or I thought not. Went to come back and report...this hole opened up under and this..." He chewed on his lip, thinking for a good word for oh my god killer thing. "Crab? Huge, size of house, to many arms...and hotter than fire. Almost got me...jumped out of hole. It chased me to the wall, but seems that the wall keeps it out of this side." He looked about once more, just so they'd get the severity of it all.
"We have way bigger issues than a few humans attacking...so much worse."

Kaleb got up out of the seat, but smiled as Micah popped in. Plopping back down comfortably, he listened to the tale from him and smiled. He always had such the imagination and way with words, Kaleb thought to himself.
"Well glad you are alright though." Kaleb put in after Micah spoke of his encounter with some crab thing. "How can you be certain it was a crab? And the wall keeps it in place?" Kaleb shrugged his shoulders.
"Well I guess as long as we stay on this side....we'd be okay." Kaleb snorted and smirked. He wasn't feeling like he wanted to do much of anything today, after all he just got back from a serious people encounter just last week with random street bums and drug dealers. Berlin could be a serious problem in itself with just the human population at times.

"Whoa, Micah... calm down," Danny said, trying to take in all Micah said at once. "There's a hellhole on the East Side... and this thing, it lured you there with a bird?"
An idea was starting to form in Danny's mind, and he didn't like it one bit. If what Micah said was accurate, then he had a very good idea of what his attacker was. Or at least he thought he did. He'd never actually seen one... And if he was right, how on Earth did Micah get away? He made up his mind quickly.
"Kaleb's right, whatever we do, we stay away from East Berlin, is that clear?" he said firmly. "We will inform the others as soon as possible. More importantly, Simeon and Anna have gone missing since last night, as has Jan, one of our kin. The others have gone snooping around, but I haven't heard back from them. I was going to ask if we could find them by more... mystical means." Again he looked questioningly at Khristina.

" I can check...there are a few ways. Let me get my cards...and then you can specify exactly what you want. Think of what you want to ask while I get my things."
She went back to the room she had slept in and grabbed her things. She went to the kitchen and sat at the table, getting herself ready. Looking up at Danny "Are you ready?"

Kaleb clapped his hands together! He was beaming! He knew his ideas were superb, in fact brilliant!
Kicking his feet up, he smiled as Danny made a point to let everyone know that he, was....RIGHT! Kaleb dug deep in his pockets and pulled out a stick of chewing gum and popped it in his mouth and chewed like some cow eating the best hay or grass it had ever had.
He sat deep in the couch, and pointed to an empty seat across the way for Micah to sit in and relax while Kristina and Danny got to work. He liked that this part demanded so little from him.
He wondered about the two missing and these mumbo jumbo cards finding them. If the cards did not work, then perhaps Kaleb and all his excellent ideas could!

Danny made to follow into the kitchen, but then the phone rang and he stopped to answer it.
Kaleb had always had a suspicion that Danny hated seeing people relaxed, because whenever he saw Kaleb relaxed, he came up with an idea to stop it. Just like now.
"Edward just called, they've found the bounty hunter. Why don't you two head out and see if they need backup. Those guys haven't slept in days. Here's the address."
Then he went to the kitchen and sat down. "Yes," he said, making a quick decision... Garou or Kinfolk? "Can we tell if Jan is alive?"

Kaleb sighed. Oh, man! Kaleb said something quick in German, sounding like a complaint and then dragged himself off the couch.
Kaleb took the address in his hands and stuffed it into his pants pocket. "Yeah, we can handle it." Kaleb looked over to Micah, guess they were going to have to go the umbral way, as none had a vehicle.
Why did he always get stuck with the bums?
"Right. See ya." Kaleb waved off Danny, smiled a wide grin to Kristina and disappeared into the umbra.

Micah stuck his tongue out at Kaleb at the comment on sitting. He got up and looked over at his sire. "Right...tell the other's that same thing. I barely got away...smell me. I think I burnt some of my hair off." He grinned a decidedly wolf-like grin before shifting to wolf. He padded over to where Kaleb was..or had been.
"Later..." And off he was to the umbra again....

Jessika peddled hard and fast on her bicycle, her left hand scrunching up the address she was given by Danny before she arrived to Berlin.
Reading the addresses as she past random homes and buildings, she smiled triumphantly as she saw the addresses were going in her favor. Peddling to what she thought and appeared to be the home, she stopped and looked at the outside of the building. It looked like an actual home, that was funny Jessika thought to herself. She shrugged and pushed the bike on the grass on the front of the Caern.
Heading around the home, she scoped it out. Her eyes narrowed at random things on or around the house. She bent down and glanced at the shrubbery and grasses around the house. The grass had been trampled on a lot, that was apparent.
They would need to work on that, she thought to herself. Headed to the back door, she opened it and entered the home. She did not call any name, just walked through the home. She was not sure what she would find, or who she would find.
It seemed quiet, which she was not surprised as the last time she spoke with Danny the caern was an up and coming idea. She made her way into the front room and smiled lightly when she found who she was looking for, and some other person, a chick with Danny.
"What a nice little place and gathering we have going on here." Jessika commented at the pair.

Danny almost jumped, and turned around. Of course, Kaleb and Micah would have forgotten to really lock the door behind them. Not that it mattered, nobody actually knew about the Caern.
He stood and looked down at the disturbance. She looked different. A lot older for one. The last time he had seen her she had still been an awkward teenager growing into her role as a Galliard, struggling to keep a balance between her human life and her new life as a Garou. The last time he had actually spoken to her had been over a year ago. So much had happened since then.
"Khristina, this is my other kid, Jessika," he said, looking quite happy to see her. "Well she's not much of a kid anymore, that's for sure. Jessika, this is one of our kin, Khristina. We were just trying to use her gift to find someone."
Another father would have probably walked up and given his daughter a hug, or at least some kind of special greeting. But Danny was a wolf, after all, he didn't quite know how to raise human children. "How long have you been in Berlin?" he asked. "I expected you would call me sooner."
