Furnished pretty much like a library and filled with books, the Main room of the Caern consists of a large wooden table amidst the shelves of books, a television set, and a radio. There is also a small kitchen and a bathroom at the back.

Micah was spending the time guarding catching up on some long overdue eating at this point. Eric...the dear, had went for take out and he was starving. He stretched out long, itching along his chest and grumbled once more about the newness of the black t-shirt. He smirked...remembering where and how he'd gotten it. There was a dam good reason he got on with Eric alot...he helped him stay appearing human...sort of.
That nasty bout of fleas once was about more than the boy could take...but...what can ya do when ya meet such a fine she-wolf alone? Leave her there?
He leaned back against the wall and smirked, pushing long hair back behind a ear. No...course he couldn't leave the female lone. At best...she'd be outcast...worst probably hunted and killed. Now they all had a place, out at the new farm. Kept her in good surroundings she liked, Eric still had power and all that human crap.
And he had the two of them. He grinned wide then went back to guarding, tossing the chip's plate into the trash. Wonder where everyone was? He'd been alone for hours it seemed. No...it had been hours, and he was getting antsy.

Micah wasn't really happing about the pouding at the door...but what to do about it? "Hold ur damned pants on!" He tended to be more human at times, and yelling made him feel better. Well, not really but...habits die hard with lupus-born. And his mind kept yelling at him about this sort of thing. Oh well...
He hurried to the door and looked about...then down. Ahhh..."Anna. Howdy there...what got a fire in your pants?" He really hoped she had something interesting to do. Bordom was setting in here.

Anna looked a little uneasy to see Micah. She had been expecting Danny or Blake, or even Kaleb. It wasn't that she didn't like Micah, just that he intimidated her a little.
"Hi, sorry... Where's Danny? Isn't he around?" she asked. She looked around Micah and into the Library. He seemed to be alone. "Are you here alone then?"

Micah stood back, giving her room to come in. He wasn't intimidating...to say the least. Hell...he still looked like a starving human this way. Wonder why she was like this about him? Oh well...he'd figure it later.
"No...It's just me. Set to guarding the caern while the others eat. I get to starve...sigh." He made it a joke, considering he'd decimated a good pound of chips just a wee bit ago. With a grin, he motioned her inside. "What's up?"

<later, on a morning after leech hunt>
Vasara wakes up early in the morning in the kitchen floor, rolled in fetal position, suffering a splitting headache. It takes a few seconds for him to realize where he is and few more to remember how did he get there. He blames himself again for his weakness, when others were celebrating, he too did have few... well, maybe a little more than few shots, just enough to make him a "happy drunk" and... well, give him a headache. Hmm, when he thought of it more, he had to admit to himself he ended up guite drunk last night, gulping down beer and vodka as a Finn on drinking-frenzy just could...
He really needed to be more careful from now on and sharp guilt hit him, as well as a obnoxious feeling in his gut. What if Wyrm would have attacked while he was still wasted? They still lacked an ahroun so he felt that as a fenris, he needed to do ahrouns duties as well as Philodoxes duties. And as Pack's ranking member he should be the one giving example to others, and not to be one who passed out... no, FELL ASLEEP... on kitchen floor. This is not how Alpha should act.
Vasara gets up and looks out of the window. He could see sun struggling to push some light through clouds and starts to make a breakfast for everyone. Damn, he couldn't even remember who was still around, so he decided to make something that would be enough for his every friend that used to hang at the caern.
Hmm... bacon, eggs, sausages, maybe some cheese and few veggies for color... Vasara walks to fridge and starts to make... well, you could call it scrambled eggs if you wanted to be nice to cook, but the result looked really bad, but tasted and smelled really good, especially to carnivore with hangover. He shambles slowly few steps away from his "morning after-special" to make coffee for everyone, and then makes breakfast ready. He didn't have courage yet to eat it, he wasn't so sure could he hold anything inside him yet, so he lets the smell of food to awake others and sat down and watched as the morning rain started to fall outside the window.
He missed his homeland and his life on the road, but now there was some serious responsibilities keeping him in Berlin. And he felt so lonely... during this War against Draugar he really did not have time to socialize with anyone outside his Pack or workers in the Ragnarok. That needed to change... He lit his sigar-stump and puffed some smoke circles in the air as he tried to straighten his thoughts.
Time goes so fast, he thinks, Anna was already ready for her Rite of Passage, and he felt both pride on her courage to accept Fenrir Rite, and some fear that he actually might end up to hunt her down if she was corrupt inside. He hadn't shown it out yet clearly but he really liked the girl and was thankful that she hadn't shown out any signs of her ancestry yet. Well, Fenrir were not the most stable ones on Garou Nation, so she'll probably will fit in quite well, even if she would have some... disorders. A smile forced it's way on Vasara's gloomy and suffering face.
Oh, if Gaia, Fenris or Bear would just give him a sign that he did the right decision to accept her in the Pack and deemed her worthy of Rite of Passage...
"Whatever comes, I cannot know, but the Life will ultimately show..." he says silently as he pours coffee on his cup and keeps staring the rain, waiting others to wake up too...

Although Jan's sister-in-law technically and legally owned the Caern, he always felt that it was more Garou property. Now that there were Garou living there again, guarding it and keeping it, he didn't find it appropriate to own a key to the place anymore. He was only kin, and although he liked to help as much he could, there were still things he could never understand, and never be part of.
But Jan liked his life as kinolk to Fenris' tribe, especially now that some Fenrir had returned to the city.... well at least one had, and Jan was hoping more would reclaim their Caerns from the hands of the Wyrm.
Today Jan arrived at the crack of dawn, knowing at least someone would be awake. There was always someone sleeping at the Caern. He rapped the door loudly and waited for someone to open.

It was morning, Kaleb could tell by the light that peered into the room of the home that he occupied for the night. He would have liked to have found his way back to his "home" on the streets, but all that drinking, and then the walking...too much for him to handle that late in the night, or was it morning when they arrived at the caern? Shaking his head, he blinked a few times, and then scoped the room out. Something smelled like food, and boy, was he hungry.
Why did the room seem so funny today? Surely they couldn't have changed it that much in the few days he was out doing his thing, could they have? Everything seemed normal, well at least not so this way last night. Stretching out, he recoiled his foot after he collided with a wall.
Wall? The beds in the caern were not so close to the wall, at least not in anyroom he scoped out...which of course was all of them, he even managed to snag some shiney trinket that was on some shelf, nothing special, just a watch. It was in the caern, so technically it belonged to them, him more so since he did find it.
Blinking again, he yawned and stretched his arms out, hitting the floor of the room. Surely something was off here. Sitting up was quite the task, due to his beir escapades last night and well, now isn't that just funny? He was on the couch! Upside down too, that would explain somethings he reckoned. He popped his head over the couch to see food, on Vasara's plate.
"Hey, ya go shopping in my neck of the woods?" He blinked again, focusing his eyes on the plate, it looked like something Kaleb would have dug out of Berlin's finest garbage bin, but still edible. "Got any more of that stuff?" He bounded over the couch and made it over lazily to the nearby wall Vasara was around, and leaned good and hard on it. Balance was essential this morning, though he seemed to be lacking some of it.
It was then there was a knock on the door, Kaleb grabbed his ears and snaked his head over to the door, his body following in that directions after a few minutes. Flinging open the door, he was greeted by sun, oh how cruel it was this morning! Squinting his eyes he made out the image of a man, a familiar man...what was his name again? Oh, he was named after a girl...what was it? Damned if he could remember, so he moved aside to let him pass.
"Come in, quick! The sun is very noticable this morning, and vasara made some food, so if your game, he'd give ya some of his share." No way was Kaleb giving his up, to anyone.

"Nah, I've had breakfast..." Jan said politely when he saw the mess that Kaleb wanted to eat.
Then he spotted Vasara."Good, you're here. Just the man I wanted to see. But hey, check this out first, you guys made the news... well more or less."
He pulled a newspaper out of his jacket's pocket and searched the pages for the article, then he started to read the headline. "Fire at local hangout claims the lives of two employees and presumably the club's owner," he grinned, then added quickly. "Oh don't worry, nobody suspects anything of course."
He scanned the article and towards the end, he added: "Here: Although the police suspect foul play, no comment was made on whether they had any leads... which is just another way of saying they had no leads. Danny told me nobody saw you two go in. I ran into him when I got off at the bus station, he said he had to see someone... no idea who. Don't know about you, but he baffles me sometimes. Strange guy. Was limping like mad though..."

Vasara gives a tired look to Jan and listens carefully as Jan reads the article. He didn't even answer Kalebs question about food. Kaleb's a Bonegnawer, and thus quite capable to find his own way to the kitchen were the... food... was. A quick nod and grunt to Kaleb should be enough, Vasara reasons.
"Well, I know what happened last night at that club even without this newsflash, thank you. I was there, after all." he grumbles to Jan, but quickly gives a short grin/smile to him "...althought it is good to know that the polizei has no clue what really happened..." He looked around once more and realized that Danny indeed was somewhere else.
"No wonder Danny was still limping, things got a bit hot out there." Vasara says without even a hint of emotion in his face. He stops to think for a moment. Why didn't Danny wake him up when he left? The least Vasara could do to him was try to heal him for giving the Pack another change to test their mettle. But then again, he was a Silent Strider. They tend to be on move.
"I trust you have something more pressing things to us than just chatting about some news-article." Vasara could be difficult to approach, even on a good day. And his headache made it sure that this day was not a good one. But he really TRIED to be nice to Jan, after all, Jan was kin, and always trying to be helpful.
"Go get some coffee before you start." Vasara says as friendly as he could this morning, but the words came out more like a command than a request and Vasara shakes his head as he wipes some cold sweat out of his forehead.
Damn you, can't you just be a LITTLE nicer to him, he thinks, and bravely starts to eat his creations, waiting Jan to tell him what brought him at the caern on this gloomy morning.

Jan put the newspaper away hastily, knowing better than to test a Fenrir's patience. He got himself a cup of coffee He didn't appear very put off by Vasara's attitude, but kept his cheerful mood. However, he got more serious as he got down to business.
"Ok, I thought this might be of interest to you, so hear me out. My supervisor has a colleague at the University called Professor Brunner. Now this guy doesn't usually look into things paranormal or anything, he's an Anthropologist, studies human evolution and behaviour. I don't know what they were working on, but it was supposed to be a big breakthrough and he was keeping it secret from the press. Anyway, last night I found out from my supervisor that Brunner and his entire crew had been murdered. The circumstances of the murder are also being kept a secret, but I knew something was up when they stationed a few special units at the lab... so I nabbed a copy of the surveillance tape. Of course, most of them have been confiscated, so it took me a while to get my hands on this, but it was worth it, look..."
Jan pushed the tape into the VCR and turned on the television. For a while all they could see was static, then the picture came into view. It looked like it was a picture of a hallway, and without any noise to give anything away, it looked rather peaceful. But then, suddenly, across the hall, came a huge reddish brown creature with heavy claws that were covered with blood. The creature could be mistaken for nothing but a Crinos werewolf.
Jan replayed and froze the picture as the werewolf came into view. "I'm no professional guys, but it looks pretty real to me..." he said gravely.

Kaleb had been making a plate of grub and somewhat listening to Jan when he entered the room they were in with a plateful of something. He glanced at the video and shook his head, setting the plate down on the table.
"Looks real to me as well. Wasn't me!" Kaleb put his hands up defensively and looked to the pair.
"Good job on getting your hands on it, Jan. Sneaky like us bonegnawers." He smiled and nodded his head to the boy. Just like Kaleb who borrowed quite a few things from the home as of late.

"...oh no..." Vasara whispers under his breath as the fork falls from his hand "...this is not good... NOT FUCKING GOOD!!" Vasara jumps up, kicking the chair out of his way and runs to the television.
"oh no no no no... You fucking didn't do this..." he speaks to unknown werewolf in the screen pointing it with his finger "...no you didn't... YOU DIDN'T FUCKING DO THIS!!! This isn't a fake, isn't it?" he looks at Jan "I'm not an expert but you're not just pulling my leg here, 'cause I'm FUCKING gonna rip..." Vasara swallows his words back and focuses his eye on screen "...this is real..."
Vasara tries to see if the werewolf has ANYTHING on it's being that could help him to recognise it if he saw it himself in any Form that this fool could be wearing. Patches of different colour on fur or anything... He even sniffs the screen before he sits on the floor right in front of television. He rewinds the tape and looks it again and again if he could memorize the way that crinos moves. That information could help him too to recognize that son of a bitch if he ever meets him. Then he gets up and starts furiously walk around the room, staring the crinos from time to time, hoping it would just go away and that he would wake up in his bed.
But that didn't happen.
"...and there is some special units stationed at the labs... and there are more tapes? In the hands of... oh shit... We need to find and get rid of those tapes. How many of them were confiscated? Do you know were they taken to policestation or somewhere else? Do you have any idea what that Professor Brunner was working on?"" he looks at Jan as he draws breath to continue "I am Truly Grateful to you for bringing this into our attention!" Vasara gives Jan a huge bearhug. And first change to answer the questions that just had been shot out of his mouth.
Then he looks at Kaleb "We need to find EVERYONE and get them here." Vasara stares at the still-picture on screen one more time. Yes, that crinos was still standing there.
"Great Bear!! We need everyone here and we need them here NOW!!"

"There's definitely more tapes, and they have them somewhere. Brunner sent most of his findings to my supervisor, they were good friends... but he wouldn't share them with me, he'd have them in his office somewhere, or on his computer."
Jan said all this quickly. He understood how important this was, and looked rather pleased with himself that he had managed to be of importance to the pack. "The police were convinced to report it as a lab accident, I don't know if anyone can get their hands on the police reports, but I'll try and see if I can get Professor Brunner's notes. I'll email them to you as soon as I can. He's taken time off, so it's just a matter of cracking his password. But don't worry, I know a guy... I'll call Blake on the way and tell him to meet you here and..."
He cast a quick look around, trying to figure out who was missing still. "And Danny and Anna. Anything else I can do to help?" He asked eagerly.
