The guard hesitated for a second at the scene in the elevator, giving the three Garou time to react first. Although Saxon only gave the guard a half-hearted shove, it sent him stumbling forward, tripping over the tiny step into the elevator, and right onto the floor with a thud. Bear's extra strength took some time to get used to.
Vasara was left holding the arm, which he twisted around to the guard's back, holding him securely in place.
"Not a word," Vasara whispered. He didn't need to threaten the man. The doctor's bloody corpse was incentive enough. "We're going to the third floor, and you're taking us there."

Nadya leaves the guard to Vasara, wiping her shiv off on the doctor's coat. "What about the office on the first floor? We might be able to get keys there, I doubt this rent-a-cop will be able to get us in. Unless you just want to go in there and smash the doors in." She shrugs, though she prefers a subtle approach (though occasionally with a trail of corpses) she isn't going to stop the dumb brute if he wants to deal with the problem with his forehead.

"Don’t look at her, look at me." Saxon said in a low reassuring voice. "You want to live just do as Vasara says and where does the feed from the camera's go to?"

Vasara didn't quite think someone would leave important keys in their office when they could take them home, but otherwise agreed with Nadya's point. "And tell us who has keys to the third floor," he ordered.
The guard coughed, regained his breath, and seemed to get his wits together enough to answer the questions. "Cameras go to the Surveillance Room, ground floor," he said, looking at Saxon. "Lars has full access. He's my boss. He has keys too."

"Well we can hardly take the elevator down there. Saxon, go take the rent-a-cop back down the stairs, I'm sure you can handle him without causing a panic." She nudges the button for the floor they're on with her elbow, to open the doors. "We can check out the third floor while they're looking around. Maybe we wont need to mess around with keys anyway." Then Nadya tucks her blade out of the way and shoulders her bag.

"No, we stick together," Vasara said. It wasn't to stop Nadya giving orders she had no business giving, although that was definitely a side benefit. "We're already scattered enough as it is."
He pulled the man to his feet and spoke quietly. "We're going to leave the elevator now," he said. "If you try to alert anyone, I will slit you in half. Take us to the office first. And act normal."
There was, of course, the matter of the body in the elevator. "Jam the doors," he said. "By the time someone has fixed it, we'd better be long gone."
He nudged the guard out of the elevator, and they started walking nonchalantly down the hallway.

Saxon shrugged, "Don’t know how to jam the lift doors shut, anyone any idea's remembering that there is a camera in the hall." He moved to the other side of the guard and smiled at him.
"See, you are co-operating and you are living, from the look of it the woman in there decided to do the alternative and look where it got her."

Nadya rolls her eyes. "Fine, let's waste some more time." She grabs the doctor's clipboard and slips it under one of the elevator doors as they try to close, then shoves one of her pens under it to raise it and form a wedge. "He meant jam them open. It wouldn't do us any good to jam them shut, then the elevator wouldn't be stuck here. Did you actually search this arsehole?" She doesn't wait for an answer, frisking the guard and taking pretty much anything she finds and shoving it in her bag.

Nadya finds a set of keys, a wallet, an id card, and a tazer on the guard, in addition to the radio he was using earlier. His name appears to be Theo Roller, from the card. She jams the doors open easily enough, using the clipboard, and the doors just close halfway and open again, leaving the elevator in use so no one can call it. Luckily, she manages to do so without getting caught on the cameras, since they don't see inside the lifts themselves.
Vasara pushed the man out into the hallway and followed him. Apart from the fact that he looked like he was going to be sick, Theo didn't show any signs of giving them away. He seemed to value his life well enough. They passed the third floor on their way down. "Whose office do you want?" he asked quietly once they'd reached the right floor. "Giese," Vasara said in an equally quiet voice.
Theo led them to the third door on the left and unlocked it with what appeared to be a skeleton key for the building, and led them inside. It was a small office, with all the usual officy stuff. A desk, a couple of filing cabinets, a couple of chairs, a phone, a large window, and a bulletin board with notes stuck on it. There were shelves with lots of scientific books that none of them understood, and some happy family pictures on the desk. There is no one in the office, and the cameras, once they close the doors, will not be able to see inside.

"Lock the door." Nadya raises an eyebrow as she looks over the desk, then takes the framed family picture and puts it in her bag. Next she starts on the desk drawers, pulling them out and tipping the contents out on the desk to speed things up. She searches through the contents for anything that looks like a key, something confidential or private, or just something valuable which she checks over then puts in her bag. Once a draw's contents are checked over she sweeps the contents back in and puts the draw back in the desk before moving on to the next one.

As he kept an eye out Saxon commented, "After this we need to head for the security office and grab those tapes. Sooner or later someone is going to walk past and see our Nat's artistic skills and scream for the cops."
He looked to the guard, "How many on duty in the security office."

The guard immediately complied with Nadya's command and locked the door. "There's usually at least four of us around at one time," he said.
Nadya doesn't find a lot of valuable things, mostly because this is a scientist's office, not a lawyer's. The drawers hold a collection of pens and other stationary, some printed letters, and some scribbled notes that don't make too much sense to Nadya. There's an apple in one of the drawers, although it doesn't appear very edible. Most of the letters seem to be from an address at the University, from a certain Prof. Toshiro.
Meanwhile, Vasara tried the filing cabinets, both of which were locked. "That means we'd better do this as fast as possible," he said. He punched the cabinet in frustration when it wouldn't open. "Hey, Saxon," he said. "Do you think you can force this open." He added in a smaller voice so the guard couldn't overhear. "Without having to shift."

"Desk's useless." Nadya stuffs one of the letters from Professor Toshiro into her bag anyway, ideally one with a return address one it. The professor might become relevant later on. "Filing cabinet shouldn't be a problem if we can get some leverage." Nadya looks around the office for something that could function as a lever, wishing she'd remembered to pick up a crowbar for her utility bag.

"Hmm, you checked the pen tray? A lot of people leave the key there as they cannot be bothered carrying it around." He walked over to the desk looking for a letter opener or anything long and slender at one end he can use as a jimmy.

"Here," Vasara pulled out a long sharp blade and handed it to Saxon. "A Finn is never without one."
He then walked over to the desk and searched most of the trays and pencil holders for a key. Turning up nothing, he looked at Nadya. "Did you find anything useful in those letters?" he asked, choosing not to bring up her petty theft.
Meanwhile, the guard was starting to get more and more restless. "What is it you're looking for," he asked. "And why did you kill Dr Brock, what the hell is this company involved in?"
