Skull-Crusher snorted at Saxon angrily. Maybe it was the fact that the Homid-born was right that angered him so much more. "So it is the Get of Fenris who control Berlin this side of the wall?" He said with disbelief. "We'll see about that. But you're right, our fight is not with you. We don't need your help either, just stay out of our way."
"Enough sqabbling and snarling!" said Little-Griffin. Skull-Crusher glared at him, but said nothing. "These three aren't the problem. There's Wyrm breath in the air, and it heads west. If we are to outrun them, we should be off now! Night falls quickly this time of year."
Skull-Crusher turned to Vasara again. "The little one is right. This is where we leave you, Fenriswulf. Once again I warn you, don't get in our way."
He snarled at the rest of his pack to follow. The female eyed Micah reluctantly, and then turned her back on him.

Vasara thinks what the Talons had said. Outrun Wyrm that was heading West? "Wolf who has that many scars should know that threatening Fenrir never brings anything good, BUT we will not hinder your... Quest. That Veil-Breaker is one of yours, and so ultimately it is your responsibility to deal with him. We will do what we can to cover up this Veil-breach."
Vasara felt his heart bleed when saying that, Fenrir could be really bad to those breaking the Litany and Red Talons could easily be even worse. But that is the Law, and he would have to live with this decision for rest of his life.
"Berlin don't belong to Get of Fenris. It is starting to belong to Garou Nation at last." Vasara proclaims as Talons start moving. Then he looks at Saxon and Micah, waits until Talons have moved further away and says to them "They said something about Wyrm moving West and that they are trying to outrun it, so that technically is not part of their mission."
Vasara escapes to his thoughts for short time as he shifts back into lupus "Still interested in a Hunt? If the Wyrm is hunting the Cub, if we find that Cub first and he is with us when Talons find him, he will again be our LOCAL problem, and thus he may have a change. This still IS our Territory, after all." Vasara grins as he looks down again "And even if we cannot do anything good to that Cub anymore, I'm itching to Rend some Wyrmflesh..."

Lifting one hand to chest height Saxon gave the Red Talons a little wave off with his fingers. “Bunch of pussies.” He commented to Vasara as they vanished, “It is getting dark and there is Wrym about.” He smiled at Vasara, “That is when it starts to get fun, nothing like a Spiral to give you a good fight. They just keep a coming until you knock them down.”
He shifted to wolf, “So Micah you supposed to be the cool tracker, get to it.”

Micah watched it all with a raised wolfish eyebrow. Odd fuckers, for sure. Red talons were the hardest to get on with, even being born wolf. So damned...Getish, but in a way he could at least understand. He never did get that inbreeding thing. Wait...was that a Get thing, or a hillbilly thing. Human's confused him sometimes.
Sigh...he looked back to his own pack with a wolfish grin. "They head in the direction our Talon friends went in... if we run now we might intercept them." He set nose to ground and air, scenting them out.
(scent of the true form again...sorry about the lateness of my post guys.)

The trail led the three of them East. Micah doesn't find it hard to follow; something tells him there's quite a number of them. After about half an hour's hard running, they begin to see signs of unrest. Minor Spirits appear agitated, the pattern spiders have fled, and a few crow spirits loom overhead. For trained warriors like Vasara and Saxon, it is clear that they are approaching a battlefield.

In lupus form, it was so much easier to go "back to the basics" for Vasara, and now there were no interfering thoughts in his mind, only the moment. Keep running. Find the Wyrm. Fight the Wyrm. Kill the Bastard or Die trying. Nothing about some cops running around university trying to find escaped Red Talon, nothing on Red Talons hunting that poor bastard. Only umbral winds on his fur and anticipation of Hunt.
Vasara sniffs around, listening for sounds that might not be supposed to be here. Short look at agitated spirits. We are getting close, he thinks and lowers his stature as he runs. "All, stay low." he snarls "There's bloodshed in the Air. Find the Enemy." Vasara tries to sense the exact source of what could be upsetting the spirits here and does his best, for human-born of course, but puts much trust on Micah's senses to find and track... well, just about anything.
"If we find the enemy, we stay together and keep it sharp. We kill them one at time, starting from the biggest." this was tough neighborhood, just the right place to see how well they actually could fight as a wolfpack, instead of just running around clawing and biting everything on their path, and hoping that their enemies would do just the same. Wyrm might be mad, but you could never say it was stupid.

“Arrowhead formation then?” Saxon glanced at Vasara, “You taking point or me?” He seemed relaxed almost casual about going into a battle but to Saxon violence was his natural home. “Best we see what is going on though, only a fool rushes into a battle and then wonders where all those enemy have come from.”

A wolf's howl echoed in the near vicinity. It doesn't sound like it's too far off. The howl, sounding more like a bark, was abruptly cut off almost as soon as it started. But one thing was obvious: it was a howl for succour, a cry for help, and it told that whoever was fighting was seriously outnumbered.

Micah took point if only for a moment, sniffing out the taint, as it were. At the sound ...then cut off like that, he stopped briefly. He scented again, making sure he was pointed right to the sound, then took off that way. 'Take lead...I'll take a count once I'm able to sniff em out. Probably that talon cub they are looking for."
He kept going, flying along the ground. Wait a second...'Keep a eye out for other pack...this is their lost one, and they are bitchy.'

"I'll take the point." Vasara runs low and takes the lead. "That was cry for help, this is our turf. It doesn't matter are those Talons here or not, it is our obligation to see what is wrong and if we can help. Just don't let them jump on us." Vasara runs fast and low towards the direction Micah pointed, taking cover when cover is available and keeps his senses sharp, constantly checking places he would himself use to ambush someone if he would be on the other side of the possible conflict.
"Stay close, both of you." he growls and continues to Micah "Tell me when we are close enough for you to sense them, we will first stop and see what is happening before we rush in middle of fight." The wolf-speech comes out with totally calm tone, without even a hint of his "normal" outbursts.

Saxon sighed, “As you wish.” He would not argue the point, but it was not a matter of pride merely that as an Ahroun combat was what he did. He maintained the distance with Vasara watching the terrain as they ran.
Was it a cry for help or a cry for any mugs around to come and get themselves killed.” Our territory?” Saxon was wondering just how big this pack was as it seemed to claim a lot of ground.

As they get closer, the sounds of battle start to fill the air. Yips and barks, but slightly subdued ones, can be heard. It is obvious the battle was going badly for one side. Leading the group, Vasara almost trips over something. As he turns to look, he sees it is the bloodied wolf form of one of the talons they had met earlier, obviously dead. Up ahead the mist clears slightly, and the battle, though still some way off, comes into view.
Skull-Crusher's pack wasn't faring too well. Apparently, their attempt to outrun the Spirals had met with failure. Little Griffin, who had issued the barks for succour minutes eariler, now lay on the ground, unmoving, with a gash in his side. Skull-Crusher, still in his mighty Crinos form, was struggling for breath a few metres off. Two Spirals loomed above him, ready to finish him off. The only one left fighting was the female who'd taunted Micah. But she was surrounded by no less than four Crinos werewolves, and didn't look like she was going to last very long.

"Saxon, you take the one on the right" Vasara points at one of Spirals above Skull-Crusher "I'll take the one on the left." he points the other Spiral "Micah, you follow up and see if you can land a Deathblow on either one." He shifts into Crinos, still laying low but preparing to sprint as he sharpens his claws against ground. "No Howling yet." Vasara turns his eye on Micah "Micah, when those two are down will you use Bears Gift to patch up the Skull-Crusher, or will I do it? When he is up, we will attack those four Spirals."
Vasara still hadn't got used on having an ahroun by his side so as fenris he still tries to keep the control of the situation in battle. Vasara glances at others "Whenever you are ready?"

Micah nodded, taking in the battle with grim focus. "Kill first, then once clear I will heal Skullcrusher." He nodded to his pack, then his form shifted to crinos...huge form though still lean. He didn't howl...no, he waited for Saxon and Vas to attack first, coming in behind to finish off the one Saxon was going after.
His alpha never left any good bites on his kills...no fun there.
(holding attack till Saxon gets in a good hit, then bite and claw to the same one ^_^)

The one on the right, Saxon nodded as he looked at the Spiral, this would be fun. He shifted to Crinos, becoming a hulking muscle filled figure scratching his claws on the ground. Then he moved heading for the his target as fast as he could before they finished off Skull Crusher.
Plan made execute, no need for more talking or hanging around, kill them before they killed you that is what it all came down too at the end of the day. Grapple with his target so that Micah had an easy strike, nice and simple the way he liked it.
