"You're not convincing anyone but yourself after what you did today." Kamut nods, it's obvious that she isn't going to talk to him about it, and they had only known each other for a matter of weeks after all. He isn't ready to talk about Nadya's approach, as he isn't sure whether she just has no morals holding her back from protecting Gaia or if she's truly corrupt. "But I will bother you no more about it. Excuse me." And if he is excused, Kamut goes in search of somewhere fitted with a mirror to step sideways from.

Saxon leaned back on the chair and sipped at the bottle of beer. As they say it was time to shit or get off the pot and he had been toying with it long enough.
When the big guy rolled in he would tell him that he felt it was time to move on up become a Fostern. Then it would be up to the big guy to set the task.
Saxon smiled, hopefully it would be something simple like bring him a dozen spiral heads rather than an impossible task like make Naz into a lady.

Vasara was pissed off. He had hoped to see the retard now that he had seen the kid, but things sometimes didn't go as planned. Two ahrouns usually was a good thing to have, but the kid had serious problems with listening and understanding as almost every Silver Fang did and the retard sounded like... well... retard. Deal with Ben was fine for Vasara, but why the hell did Cloud-Dancer throw him with a Cub?
He looked at Saxon. "You smile like you got laid last night. We have been asked to take two young ahrouns for training and they don't seem to be the sharpest knives in the shelf. That should wipe the smile out of your face. One of them actually needs to be knocked out to shut him up, and I don't know yet if the other one even can speak."

Saxon laughed "Well so long as they understand enemy, kill and can follow a pointing finger. Besides we are used to Naz, a mouth that never shuts up so what is new."
Saxon grabbed another bottle and offered it to Vas, "Here you look like you need it. Now before we go and let me have a look at the gruesome twosome, there was something else."
He tipped his bottle in Vas direction. "I think it is time I moved up a rank to Fostern. And as your the next up in rank I respect the most then I am challenging for rank with you."

"Follow a pointing finger or bounce into right direction from fist. Both works to both of them." Vasara grinned and took the beer. "We should anyways go to caern as a pack. There has been some changes and I am quite curious to see what it is all about. Maybe they found the retard too so we can see how bad case he is."
"You? A Fostern?" Vasara rubbed his temple. "Maybe it is the time for it. I know you can beat the shit out of things already, so I need to think of something else to test you..." he tried to think something that would test other aspects of ahrouns too. "No caffeine, tee or drugs to help you on this challenge is allowed." Vasara said with very official tone before declaring the challenge.
"I want you to stand, not sit, lean or lay down, guarding the caern for three days and three nights on a row. I have things to take care in the caern anyways that will take that amount of time so I will be watching you. You won't get any sleep now, as I want the pack to assemble here asap, and when everyone is present, we will all go to caern to see the idiot and retard. And the new big boss of Fenrir."

Saxon considered this, "A test of stamina and willpower, interesting choice." He smiled, "Ok, lets round up the troops and go see those that have endeared themselves to you."
He finished the bottle and put it down, "Best not have another, makes me too sleepy." He stood and walked to the door looking into the bar, "Where are the happy bunnies anyhow?"

"I know you are strong and a good fighter, you don't need to prove yourself on those areas to me. I want to see your limits on the other areas of ahrouns too."
"Anna might be with her new 'family', Nadezhda... no idea." Vasara rubbed his neck as he spoke "I kind of hoped she would have been here. Kamut might be at the caern already, given to his ragabash and metis nature." Vasara finished his beer and walked to the door too. He put his knife in the belt-holster.

The drive back was quiet, the wounded where not that talkative. Pulling up at the trade entrance Saxon went inside and found a couple of the bouncers.
“The back room is off limits to everyone, anyone tries to stick their nose in, break it.” Then having covered that base he went back to the truck and began to either lift or assist the wounded into the backroom.
Making them as comfortable as possible he grabbed a bottle of beer and then tipped it in silent regard to those that had fallen. A good old fashioned piss up with tales of the fallen that is what they needed.
He would sort it out when the others got back.
