Kamut does pause momentarily at this point, he didn't like the idea of putting an already tormented girl through yet more trouble before she's had a chance to recover... but they had seperated from the others for a reason and he continued on downstairs anyway.
((and he returns to the library))

"We should enter her..?" Vasara turned off the shower and stuck his head out of the bathroom. Had he heard right? He started to dry himself with towel with a look of disbelief on his face. He found out that especially the bare bone in his head caused a weird sensation when carefully rubbed dry with a towel. There was suddenly lots of mumbo-jumbo flying in the air and Vasara was utterly lost and noticed his mind started to wander. "So you're saying that we three should go and get inside her... head? With some... Rite? And, ummm, do... actually, do WHAT?!" He wasn't stupid, this just was an area completely unknown to him.
Vasara searched the wardrobe for clean clothes. Most of his gear still was at Ragnarok, but he had learned to stash extra clothes at caern too. He chose his camopants and plain black t-shirt, and started to scrounge the shelves for a bandana. Then he noticed the coffee and gave up on his search for a moment to get some caffeine in his system. How on earth was they going to assume he could follow such mumbo-jumbo after he had been awake for Gaia knows how long time without rest. He poured to cup full and closed his eye as he smelled the coffee. Little things could give you strength to keep on moving if rest was not available.

"A bold idea," Danny admitted. "One I have not thought of myself. I do know the gift, it was one of the first the Spirits taught me. But I am not sure it works that way. You see, Mindspeak only places you in a waking dream in the place I choose. Her ancestors would be memories within that dream, you might be able to find them, but you cannot summon them as if they were Spirits... at least I don't think you can." Danny frowned. If this did work they might actually manage to save the cub a lot of torment. On the other hand, memories and the mind weren't like Spirits, even though sometimes they could be just as dangerous. "It might be worth the risk, if we can find a way to channel them... If she has any to begin with. Sometimes I am not sure how much of it is real and how much is just part of her... mental instability." He suddenly looked at Vasara. "What do you think..." he stopped halfway through the question. "Your wound looks terrible. I can see your skull. Did you let anyone heal that?"

Kasiya knows better than to press the issue. He has put his case forward and now Anna's Mentor and Alpha would decide. His eyes bore into Vasara, appraising him.
You are brave enough in battle, but are you brave enough to face what you cannot fight? Are you simply the fool who needlessly led his pack back into the hive and got his companions killed?
It's not rudeness, simply the way of Wolves. The stare bears no challenge. Kasiya is no Alpha, he does not care for that burden. He simply wants to know what he is dealing with here.

"Anna used Bears Gift on it, but it didn't heal well." the strange sensation of scratching ones own bare skull was turning again into irritating pain and Vasara sat down before the lights seemed to dim in the room because of the pain "Just another wound, it'll heal if Fenris wills so." He drank his coffee as he tried to understand what they were attempting to do. "I've seen worse." ...but most of those with worse wounds had ended up dead... the thought made him think about his mortality, but only for a short time. If he started to fear death, he could join Children of Gaia and give up his knife for a flowers.
"If this Dream-quest is possible, and if it helps Anna, I'm willing to help as much as I can. But I'll need lots of information and help there, I have no idea how things like that work." he buried his face into his hands as the pain started to turn more intense. He was so tired and beaten, but refused to be the first one to rest.
"Could this dream-thing be compared in any way to Umbra?"
OOC: so sorry for that pause in postings, holidays + new year + very moody connection = lots of difficulties on posting

Kasiya turns an kind, yet almost pitying smile upon the big Fenrir. Skilled in battle he knew nothing of the mysteries. It was gratifying that they all had their place.
"No, you won't. Anna will need you there for support not guidance. You are her Alpha, not a Theurge. We all have different roles to play."
He goes on, confident that Vasara would help, he might not understand, but he really didn't need to. He would know it helped his charge.
"Dreams and Visions are part of the Rite of Passage for Crescent Moons. As is a brush with death."
He stops there, plans for Anna's Rite forming in his head with lightning speed. He had left the ideas in his subconscious to stew while they had other tasks and now, like a flood, the ordered concepts filled his mind like a deluge. In his minds eye he sees the Rite of passage carried out, knowing that it is imagery not prophecy. That one bit of sight Gaia never cursed him with. His eyes go blank for a long moment.
Cool dawn breaks, clear and bitter cold, four Garou stand in wilderness. Danny, Vasara, Kasiya and Anna. She has been chosen by Fenris, and he knows why. The ancestors of the Fenrir can protect her. Her acceptance into their ranks forms a connection to them through her natural affinity. The spirits of the Fenrir will aid her and strengthen her against the ghosts of her history. This is why her inherent gifts cannot serve the Striders, and though it pains him to see talent wasted, talent that could have aided in their most ancient duty, it is in the Cub's best interests that it be so.
The Theurge must meet death. That is the price of their insight and their power, and the Fenrir have always hanged their theurges. He had been drowned, but that bore connections to the shadowlands, a connection that she would not need. Vasara does it, gently hoisting her from the ground, her back laying against an almost vertical slab of rock as her face begins to colour. She knew this was coming and does not panic. Her Garou physiology will sustain her.
The three older Garou sit at her feet, and Danny weaves his magic, binding their consciousnesses together within Anna's mind. The spirits of Fenris and Tapio watch them with benevolence, or as close as Fenris can come to it. They quest into her mind and he sees no more.
His waking dream over, Kasiya considers. He would have to petition the spirits before the Rite of Passage, work with Vasara to improve her chances of surviving what looked to be a most challenging Rite. He discards all the other plans he had for her ordeal. They would be as nothing compared to the horrors of her mind.

Danny nodded, knowing well the difference between dreams and the Umbra. For Anna the dreams were just as dangerous.
"I will do it," he said. At least he knew he could end the dream at will if things went wrong. "I think Anna is ready to know of your decision," he said to the Fenrir. "You should tell her in the morning. You should both rest now. I will wake you at dawn for the cleansing."
He turned around to leave and couldn't help smile to himself as he silently thanked Owl for sending the Theurge just in their moment of need.
