Nadya shrugs off Kasiya and Kamut, they could go play in the Umbra for all she cared. "So go with your gut. Better than standing around scratching our heads. Let's go in and talk to them, see if we can get the tour or something. It can't do any harm." She does at least pause to make sure her bag is nicely zipped up and there are no illegal firearms exposed to the world. Then she heads for the pharmaceutical company.

Kasiya and Kamut headed off to find somewhere secluded and eventually did so, where they began the second step of finding something to reach through to ease the transition. At long last they attempted to step sideways and with the strong ties in both of them manage the transition despite the Weaver-bound Penumbra.
((to be continued here for those two))

Vasara looked around one more time and walked next to Nadezhda toward the building.
"Yeah, we gotta start somewhere." he said as he fixed his bandana so his bare skull wouldn't be so obvious.
OOC: terribly sorry for lack in posting, and even more sorry for short post; I've been extremely busy with irl-stuff.

"Good job it is not a bank, one sight of us three coming through the door carrying a big bag like that and they would be phoning the cops." Saxon commented as he followed them.
"And we sure don’t look like businesspeople do we so that is out." Saxon looked up as he walked looking for window cleaners, "Maybe we could say we are window cleaners and see if they wanted a quote. An excuse to look around perhaps?"

Nadya cackles at the suggestion. Then she considers it more seriously. Bank security doesn't allow for werewolves... But she forces herself to stay on task, this isn't the time to be distracted. "That's true, you guys don't make a pretty couple. I doubt it'll work, but it might give us a bit more time to look around."

Bayer Pharmaceutical was a busy place this time of day. People were coming and going, and some of the employees were heading out to lunch. As Saxon, Vasara and Nadezhda didn't look like any of these people, they got a few curious looks on their way in. Nobody made any move to stop them though.
Inside, the place looked very clean and shiny. There was a large staircase and a number of lifts, and a very flustered young man at the front desk. His phone was constantly ringing, and people were constantly bothering him. He didn't look at all interested in the supposed "window cleaners", at least not until Vasara walked right up to him and he was forced to look up from the phones, a little flustered. "Excuse me, are you here for the tests?" he asked, clearly too overwhelmed to care what they were really there for. "Just sign these forms and I'll get someone to take you upstairs straight away." He placed three papers on the desk in front of him, and then went back to his phones.

"Sure." Nadya replies quickly, to obstruct any monkey-like grunts of confusion from the other two. She picks up the forms and pens and walks away. She pulls the other two, if she needs to, and once they were a reasonable distance away from the desk guy she smirks. "Well that's one way of getting inside. Blind luck." She sets the bag down in front of her, not letting it out of sight for a second, and takes a closer look at the forms.

Saxon almost hoped that the place was a bad guys hangout, then he could wrap the phone wire around the little snot's throat and choke the life out of him. But for now he had to behave so he took a form and pen off Nadezhda and examined it.

The forms have some vague details, but they seem to be for some sort of drug trial. Apparently, they are assumed to know the details in advance, and the form itself doesn't have any medical information about what the drug is supposed to do. What it does have is two pages of questions ranging from everything from home address to weight to different allergies. The third page consists of a long paragraph in which the subjects agree to accept the terms of the trial and the company denies any responsibility for undesired side effects.
The group is given about twenty minutes to fill in the forms before a bespectacled young woman in a lab coat comes to collect them. "Ready?" she asks pleasantly.

Nadya fills in the forms as a hideously anorexic 19-year old, owing more to Nadya's ignorance of the 'ideal' weight of people in their 'ideal' world than anything else, who lives on one of the roads they passed shortly before arriving in the area. She goes on to include an allergy to fur of an unspecified kind and signs it all 'Caitlin Drünkensöw'. "Sure, so I... uh... what was it... I can't remember all the details. I forgot, or it didn't say, or something. Were we going to be isolated for these tests or are we going to the same place?" Nadya isn't great at acting like a bimbo, so she tries to think of Yvonne while dressing up her probing for information as simple forgetfulness.

Vasara filled out his form with random names and answered most of the questions before signing someone else's name at the end of the form. The fact that they weren't asking a lot of questions made him think that this probably wasn't legal testing, and they were looking for some desperate people to take their money.
"Follow me," the woman said, taking their forms. "You will be isolated for the tests. They are designed to test your physical and mental performances before and after the 'treatment'. After two weeks, you will be required to return for more testing."
The stopped talking as she called the elevator. After a while it opened and she got in, waiting for the others to follow.

Saxon filled out the form accurately and neatly. Sex, not recently, height, tall, weight heavy. And signed as he always did A.N.Other before handing back the form to the woman.
He got to the lift and stopped, "I am a bit claustrophobic, if you tell me which floor to meet you I will take the stairs." He looked around, "Which are where exactly?"

Nadya looks across at Saxon sharply. "Come on, don't be such a big baby. It's just a metal box suspended above however many levels of screaming death by a small cable." She continues talking, but only in her mind, trying to draw Vasara and Saxon into a waking dream and hoping they wouldn't be too bloody stubborn to resist it for no good reason. It's never easy and not something to waste effort on, though Nadya wouldn't admit it. "Stick together. You don't know what will happen if you haven't got me watching your back. So anyway I say we kick shit off the moment we're heading up, interrogate and knock out this woman then just search around to see what we can see. If this is anything to do with Jan then there's no telling what other shit they'll pull on some test subjects once they get them alone." The location of the waking dream is just what Nadya thought of first, as she wasn't really thinking about that detail, which happens to be a snowy wasteland. She's got her arms crossed to tuck her hands away from the cold, but it's more out of habit than any real need.
(two will spent to draw them both into Mindspeak)

The mindspeak didn't come as much of a surprise to Vasara. She was, after all, a Galliard. "Just what I was thinking," he said. "If she doesn't know anything, we can still get out of here fast. But I have a feeling about this place."
He looked around. "Nice place," he added.

Saxon looked around the scene and sighed in exasperation. "Yes a metal box that is all too easy to pump full of that drug which knocks us out. I doubt they will give a toss what effect it has on the woman. Besides using the stairs give me a chance to have a peek at the floors as I pass them."
