Nadya tries to concentrate on both worlds at once, it's easy to forget that the real world is still happening while in the waking dream. "Come on, come on, stop dawdling." In the dream, Nadya's response to Saxon comes snappily. Partly out of irritation that she hadn't thought of something so obvious. "Yeah, and they'll just shoot you full of the shit if you go off alone. Anyway, I need to be able to see you guys to do this, though if things kick off I'll need to drop it anyway." She smirks. She smirks in the real world too. "It's a pain in the arse paying attention to the real world at the same time."

"Well, if you must," said the woman with the clipboard. "Fourth floor, wait by the stairwell and we'll come get you."
Vasara barely managed to make that out as he concentrated on Nadezhda and Saxon in the Galliard's mind. "Ok," he said firmly, before this could turn into an argument. They didn't have time to stand around here. "Saxon, take the stairs. If we don't make it to the fourth floor then break through the elevator doors. Two of us should be enough to carry out Nadezhda's suggestion." It was always good to have a backup plan. He hoped Kamut and Kasiya were alright. They were the other backup plan.
The woman was waiting, looking a little confused at their dawdling. "The elevators are really safe," she said, mistaking their hesitance for fear.

Saxon smiled at Naz, "Be good love and take care." He moved away from the pair and entered the stairwell. Fourth floor was his destination but first. He glanced up checking for CCTV as he walked up, fully intending to having a look see at each floor as he passed it.

Nadya snorts a laugh at that, but steps into the elevator nonetheless, saving her remark for ears that aren't Saxons. "That boy's got a crush on me." She scans the elevator briefly, looking for CCTV cameras or just holes they could be hiding behind. She also looks over the control panel, noting the presence of basement levels, locks or any other stuff that isn't just a series of numbered buttons. Once she had done that, she turns her attention back to the dreamscape. A dreamscape devoid of Saxon, now. "Do you know how to use a gun? If things get noisy there's no reason to go around telling everyone what we are. Guns will if anything draw less attention, and I can spare you a pistol." She wields the H&K VP-70 in the dream, just for effect.

(Still posting for Juha until he returns)
As Saxon makes his way up the stairs he notices that surveillance is quite thorough in this area. There aren't many places that aren't being controlled, and he even passes a security guard on his way up the stairs to the fourth floor. He can't tell much about the floors as he passes them, since there are large double doors separating the stairwell from the hallways, but he can get a look at a long corridor, and the occasional medical technician walking in and out of the rooms. When he reached the fourth floor hallway, he found the double doors locked.
"No need," Vasara assured her, stepping into the elevator in the real world while talking to her in the dreamscape. He cracked his knuckles for effect, but didn't say any more.
"Take us up, then," he told the lady. "And sorry for the delay. My friend got stuck in an elevator when he was a boy."
The woman smiled at them both and pressed the button up. "Don't worry about it," she said. "It's not easy to get lost in this place."
The elevator doors shut and they went up.

"Right. Ask her a question or something, would you." She abandons the dream, allowing her to focus her sense on the real world. Once fully there, she sets down the bag of guns and plays with her bootlaces, placing a hand on her shiv as she does. She gives Vasara time to distract the button-minion, then whether he has or not she stands again with her blade in hand and grabs hold of the woman before hissing out a warning. "Make a fucking peep and I'll slit you until you've got more organs on the floor than in your belly." She raises the shiv to the woman's face, allowing her to see the crude, hand-made blade. The only bit of shine on it is the edge, which is sharpened to a razor finish.

Paranoid bastards Saxon thought to himself as he climbed the stairs noticing the security cameras. He also took care to check for junction boxes and the like, they may need to interfere with the power.
Reaching the fourth level he find the doors locked which was odd doors to the stairs are not supposed to be locked in case of fire. So he banged on them and shouted, "Anyone there, come open these doors."

Vasara distracted her with a generic "I think you dropped your pen" while Nadezhda knocked her around and scared her silly. As the elevator neared the fourth floor, Vasara hit the stop button so the doors wouldn't automatically open and reveal their activities to the corridor. Nadezhda threat doesn't come off as very convincing, although the shiv in her face is enough to keep the woman from screaming. "W-what do you want?" she asked, looking more surprised than scared, although kept eyeing the shiv carefully. "Who are you people?"
After yelling for a while, Saxon can hear footsteps coming up the stairs. His uniform suggests that he is a security guard, although apart from what appears to be a stun gun, he isn't carrying any heavy weapons. He stops at the the top of the stairs and catches his breath. "What's all the yelling about?" he asks. "What are you doing up here?"

"I am supposed to be doing some tests on this floor and I do not like lifts, hence the stairs." Saxon smiled, "So if you can just show me where the tests are being done I would be grateful."

"You scream, you die." Nadya smirks and presses the woman back against the elevator wall, keeping the blade at her throat. "Now we've got a few seconds before someone starts asking questions. So why don't you tell me what security is like in the building and where we can find a security room?"

"You'd better do what she says," Vasara snarled. "She means it." The woman looked a little uncertain at first, but Vasara's looks threat seemed to finally convince her that these thugs meant business. "I don't know what you're looking for," she said. "But this is just a research facility. There's a security office on the ground floor, and two officers patrol the area. The rest is just the cameras."
The security guard looked a little suspiciously at Saxon, but seemed to remember him from downstairs. "Yeah you were with Dr. Brock," he said. "I'll take you where you need to go." He unlocked the door and let Saxon in. Saxon could see a hallway with large blue doors on either side. Some had signs with the words 'Experiment in Progress, do not disturb' on them. The elevator doors were across the hall.

"Thank you, lead on." Saxon smiled and then stepped into the hall looking around like any tourist would.

"Let's play a game. You answer yes or no to my questions, or I take a piece of your neck." Nadya thinks on it for a second, then runs off a list of questions, giving a pause after each for her response. "There's only one security station for the entire building?" "Are there any locked doors?" "Who has keys?" "Are there any private areas that you're not allowed in?"

"Yes, no I don't know. Maybe. I haven't worked here long. Yes of course there's locked doors. I only have access to my floor and my experiments. Security has more access." She looked from Nadya to Vasara, who was staying alert for any sign that they had been discovered, and then back at Nadya. "We don't do animal testing here," she said, probably concluding that they were some kind of eco-terrorists. "It's all human, and all legal."
The security guard stepped inside the hallway after Saxon. The heavy doors locked automatically as soon as they closed. He led the way down the hall and towards the lifts. He knocked at the last door on the left, but there was no answer of course, because poor Dr. Brocl was stuck in an elevator with two very unsavoury characters. "Did she tell you to wait for her here?" he asked Saxon. "We can call her office."

"Of course." Saxon smiled at the guard and pushed at the door. "She said to go on up and she would be up shortly. Guess the lady is not a big a wuss as me about lifts."
Hopefully the guard would take that at face value and wander off. If not and the office was both open and empty then the guard would be taking a short nap.
