He shakes his head. Yvonne seemed to have misunderstood. His intent had been more far-reaching than this one incident.
"What's done is done. We cannot change the past. We could talk forever about that night and never reach agreement. Because we disagree."
And if you continue to hound me on it all you will do is bring up my Rage.Perhaps you aren't the one to help me communicate...
"What I ask of you is that you work with me on developing the skills you developed as you grew. I learned to hunt and track, you grew in human society. The problem is that we do not understand one another, is it not? And that is not something we can do today. It will take time."
Yvonne had taken it upon herself to judge him. If she took that step then she took responsibility for it. If she wanted him to better himself, he expects her to commit to it.

Well, they had argued each other to a stand-still. He saw no need to discuss this further. They would only be repeating themselves now.
"You have voiced your grievance, and that is good. Things should always be settled between Garou, and neither of you should continue to hold a grudge because of what has happened. We made mistakes. I made a mistake in sending you out without proper planning and explanation. Kasiya made a mistake in not communicating his own point of view, and in making his own assumptions. I can tell you now that neither of us will be remembered as the great leaders of this war. We simply try to fulfil our duty to Owl. There is no shame in that. But there is nothing further to be said of this. I hope that you can get past this, and if you cannot understand each other, or even like each other, I hope that you can at least trust each other. And if after this you still feel the need to settle your grievances, we can do it as Garou do."

Yvonne frowns, he had changed the subject just to hide from an admission like she had worried. It's fortunate she had mentioned the subject, or he would of been allowed to continue deceiving her. She sighs and looks at Adiyah, then Danny. "If you can't even accept the decision of Danny, I don't see how you can learn anything. You're obviously not going to see the truth quickly..." She pauses, then resolves herself not to shut him out. "When you're ready to accept that you're wrong, you can come to me and maybe we can learn something from each other. As you are now, you can't even accept the obvious truth, so I don't see how I can have faith in anything you could try to teach or that you would listen with an open mind to anything I might say." She turns away from him. Any immediate reversal now after all his layers of deception would be a transparent and insincere attempt to earn favour.

Now that Yvonne had turned her back and become the centre of attention with her drama queen theatrics, Kasiya turns in a similar manner and fires off a rapid sequence of hand-sign at Danny:
"What did I do wrong? I don't understand her. I offered to work with her. What does she mean I'm ignoring your judgment?"
The whole thing's left him moderately distressed, feeling helpless in a way he rarely did. Everything he had said to try and placate the Fury had only spurred her on, and he'd only continued because Danny had asked him to.

Adiyah listened with a frown. Yvonne had the stubborness of a Fury, and Kasiyah the stubborn and different way of handling things of the wolves. At least he had gone so far as to say he needed and wanted help in communicating better, that at least, was a semblance of a start. Though she figured Yvonne might be the last person who would be good to spend alone time with the other theurge right now. Might even be disasterous.
She kept her mouth shut, it might have been her packmate, but she had said her piece and didn't have more to say on it that wouldn't of been redundant. Adiyah did offer a glance to Max with a slight shrug. She felt bad for him, it was after the hive that he'd come in so he had no idea what had transpired. It was a blessing, but he'd never truly know how much he had been spared. She sighed. "I think maybe we could use a drink and time to unwind for a few minutes."
It was a lame attempt to break tension and she knew it. Hell though, but warm cider spiked with something even warmer would really help her at least.

Danny wondered if he'd done the right thing. Maybe in his attempt to remain diplomatic and solve this peacefully, he had come off a little too soft. "A drink sounds like a good idea," Danny said with a smile. "Why don't you go ahead, we will join you later. Micah will alert us when your potential pack-mate returns." He turned to Kasiya. " Let's talk," he said. (OOC: Dämmerlicht may skip ahead to: Tuesday Evening <-- Link Kasiya and Danny will continue this >> Out of Sync<< and otherwise in the >> Library<<
