This could spell trouble, but for now it was watching them and they still had to wait for Cloud-Dancer to come back. I say we wait, it’s only observing an as long as we’re not hostile or breaking anything, it might just let us be. Hands still had the bow ready if anything should happen and breaking the silence could get Cloud into a lot of trouble inside

Hands of Mercy continues to watch and wait. As long as the Weaver-spirit is just watching, it is probably best not to sound an alarm. At least not while there's only one there.

The loss of the mental contact was not trouble sing, as he knew once she was out of eye sight it would go. Cloud was not nor pup or inexperienced fighter, she was seasoned so there was no need to get jittery til she called for help or returned on her own.
He tilted his head as the spider came closer to watch the group, his own eyes watching those black ones curiously. Did it want something? Was it curious? A pity he couldn’t tell or better yet talk to it. He gave a soft ‘wuffle’ as he turned his attention back to the building, the others were right, unless it started something no need to start anything on their end.

Since they showed no sign of hostility the pattern spider stood silently and watched them for a few more seconds. Then, legs clicking over the concrete, it ran back to the building. It fired a long strand of web to grab hold of the top of the building so it didn't need to risk climbing past the vines, and climbed out of sight, squeezing between the tight webs over the windows.

Seeing the spider move off, Simeon resumed his full attention back on the building. How many more moments to give Cloud -Dancer before going in? So far there was no commotion, no cry for help...but time was ticking by, if something had happened and she couldn't call out.
A few more minutes, then we move. Better to err on the safe side and be contrite and apologetic then to lose a warrior to one of the Triat.

As the pattern spider moves off, Hands of Mercy resumes waiting patiently for Cloud Dancer to reappear, and watching for a larger force of Spiders approaching.

As the spider took off again, she followed it with her eyes till it was completely out of sight. Her grey wolf ears still pointed straight up, trying to catch any small hint or sigh of things coming their way, but it seemed like nothing was going to happen

A few more seconds passed in peace, before three pattern spiders squeezed their way out of the first-floor windows and hopped down to the ground with a clatter. They started moving around the three Garou at a safe distance, in an attempt to position themselves so the Garou were between the building and the three spiders. There was still no sign of Cloud-Dancer.

As the three Spider came out of the building Simeon eyes went to follow them and quickly figured out their intent. Well so far as their desire to place the Garou between them and the building. Gather closer was all he said as he now tracked them with both eye and body, having moved so he was now watching them and not the building. His tail was low and alert, but he didn’t make any threatening moves towards the spiders, as he tried to discern what they wanted. A fanciful part of him thought perhaps they were trying to hide behind the Garou for protection…ya, that would be the day.
Stay close. I think perhaps we should follow Cloud-Dancer. It was both a order and a question, for he wasn’t used to giving orders…but something had to be done soon.
((Perception and wits(?) to see if I can figure up what the spiders are about.))

Hands of Mercy backs off a little, still keeping an eye out for other spiders. He barks out a quick Anthem of War. Three spiders, trying to cut off our escape. Then he returns his attention to the spiders and any other possible hostiles.

The feeling of being surrounded did make her feel uneasy, but running in after Cloud Dancer could put her at risk, right now making sure that they still had an escape root seemed more important in her mind and as much as she wanted to trust Simeons judgement, something held her back. We need to make sure that we can get away; I don’t feel like walking into a trap. Outside they still had it on their terms, but if Cloud-Dancer did not respond, she might be in trouble after all

The three spiders continued to circle around, clicking gently all the way. They came to a stop with the three Garou between them and the building. At exactly that moment another six pattern spiders started to crawl out and jump down from the building and rapidly move around to their sides. It was obvious that the nine spiders were trying to form a semi-circle around them, to contain them against the building. Cloud-Dancer suddenly burst from the entrance at a run, in answer to Hands-of-Mercy's call.
((if you act immediately you can make a break for it before the semi-circle is joined))

The message was clear in her mind and she hoped the other two would follow. Go, go, go… Turning from the building, the grey wolf started sprinting to break free of the circle, they needed their advance and fighting if it was not needed was a waste.

As Cloud –Dancer came bursting out of the building, Simeon almost yipped with joy, but instead he favored a short bark Run! Though he himself would wait til last to bolt, to cover the escape if need be. Even as he acted he couldn’t help but wonder what the spiders were after? He had had very little contact with such, but he almost felt as if there was a reason for what they were doing? He wondered if a Glass-walker could answer that question, as they seemed more in touch with such things living in the cities as they did. ((Simoen will hang back to cover the others escape and then follow last. Yes stupid galliard playing the hero ))

Cloud-Dancer didn't stop running once she'd reached the outside of the building. Running was the favoured option when twenty or so Spiders were at your tail, and the others seemed to have the right idea already. She kept heading for the weakest part in the semi-circle, and tried to break through before they got surrounded.
