Nadya grins as she returns to her natural form. With an irritated grunt she tears the sleeve off her denim jacket, an easy act since it's half torn off already, and ties it around the wound tightly. "Or they're just fucking with us. Trying to keep us tense and on edge. Problem with that is, we either go with it and are jumping at shadows, or we ignore it but eventually an attack will turn out to be a serious one. There's no good way of fighting these tactics directly, we have to find out how they're getting here to deny them the option." Her grin widens. "Or we fuck them back twice as hard, that would be a lot more fun." She looks over... the new girl, one of the ones that had needed rescuing from mere pattern spiders. "Why don't you go take a look? There are these really friendly plants in there, they just want a hug really, then everything will calm down." She leaves Anna to answer the questions seriously.

Vasara was not really interested on details of the building and spirits. He had more grave things on his mind and he shifted into glabro to make talking easier. "Problem is that we need one team capable of being constantly on guard and defeating the Spirals when they pop out on West, and it looks like after Dämmerlichts incident that Slagbröder are the only group capable for that now until other packs get their acts together." Vasara was blunt but then again, he needed to be. He had never given a shit on popularity, he usually focused more on getting the job done. "...and we also need one team capable of waging real, constant war against Wyrm to gain the edge again. If other packs can't even defeat two Spirals, how can they even imagine on waging a real war against them?" Vasara didn't talk to anyone in particular, he just was starting to really get tired on constant 'cry-wolfs'.
"War-pack can't run around fighting fires at the same time as we should be hunting Spirals." Vasara walked next to Cloud-Dancer, she was Fenris and of superior rank and Vasara wanted to see her reaction on his words. "People whine and moan and give us looks that would be excuse for fights on any other place but still it is us who others come to when things turn bad. Caern is in grave danger until we can block Spiral's way in, that is for sure, as are our kin under constant threat to their lives. And we can't fight to try and save them efficiently now, when we are called to bleed and do the dirty works for others." Vasara looked at Nadezhda's wound.
"Slagbröder will take care of the wall-hopping Spirals and their way in." Vasara growled "I need to talk to Karin again and we WILL put end to this. Anna can help you on that Wyldie-thingie as a side-project if she wants and we will protect her on process as a pack, but what do you think we can achieve if we get called in every time when things get a bit rough and someone just might actually have to fight and get hurt?" Vasara felt his Rage boil. He shifted into huge, terribly scarred Dire Wolf and walked awhile to hear if anyone had anything of interest to say. Then he walked few meters away from the main group, just to make sure he wouldn't jump on anyone.
"I think the Bane at the Wall is more immediate threat than this Wyld-thing unless you know how to unleash this Wyldie against the Bane."

"It's an awful lot of trouble to go to just to create a distraction," Anna said. "Not to mention pretty dangerous. They couldn't have predicted what would have happened... they could have been killed in the attempt." She continued to talk to Cloud-Dancer. She'd been inside, she'd seen everything they had. She could answer the new girl's question just as well. "There's definitely more behind this." She was uncharacteristically confident. She knew these Spirals, and she'd talked to the spirit. For once she wasn't entirely clueless. She fell into step behind Vasara, but waited before shifting as well. They might have more questions, and she would have trouble answering in Hispo.

Cloud-Dancer nodded thoughtfully. This was going to require further investigation on the physical side. "If the Spirals have an interest in the building, we'll need to find out what it is," she said. She seemed satisfied with Anna's answer. "You did well. Don't worry, we'll undo their damage and clean up their mess." She looked at Vasara. "You know there is no one else I could go to for this," she said. "There is no one I could count on to get this information, and still get out in one piece. This was important. Disturbances like this affect the physical world." She knew Vasara was not the most Spiritual of Garou. The fact that they were walking around and talking in the Umbra deep in the inner city was probably enough to put him on edge. It was probably enough to put anyone on edge. So she didn't lecture him. No pack had done more for this city, after all. "We'd better not linger," she said. "I will find you later. Shadow-Stalker and I still have a Spiral to hunt."
She looked around at the others. "The rest of us will head to the Caern." She placed Medraut on her back. "We'll talk more later," she started to lead the packless Garou to find a good place to step sideways. "Where it's safe."

Seeing that they weren’t going to be doing any more fighting, well at least fighting outside foes, internal ones might be a different thing… Simeon shifted back to his human form as he tilted his head and listened. A thought was forming in his mind, but it seemed that maybe this wasn’t the place. Tempers and emotions were high, and the wrong word said the wrong way could easily be taken the wrong way.
Looking at Cloud-Dancer he nodded and fell into step, not quite next to her, but not quite behind her either. Once they were out of ear shot of Slagbröder he looked at the Adren. “What is needed is a pack made for speed and stealth. To be the eyes and ears and the warning systems as well.” He said it casually, like he was merely discussing the weather. He watched her from the corner of his eye curious to see what her reaction to such a pack would be.

Jess looks over at Nadezhda's words. "I would, but I was assuming your theurge was competent enough to pick up on anything important. You think I'm wrong?" She holds the other woman's gaze for a moment before looking away. She doesn't really want to get into a pissing contest with a Fenrir, though perhaps she is wrong in that assumption if the theurge in question doesn't have anything to add, she thinks as Anna fails to reply.
She shakes her head, this isn't getting anywhere, this diversion only came about because they turned up at the bar at the wrong time. And with the current mood, it seems better to leave discussion of the huge critter by the wall until later. Perhaps they could peel off from this little group and head back to the bar in a bit.

Jona looked from the war-pack to the group following Cloud-Dancer and frowned. It seemed they weren't going to get to ask their questions. Nobody was even listening. He didn't just get bound into the pattern web so that the Fenrir could run off without giving them any answers. So he tapped Jess on the shoulder. "We're staying," he said, and started to follow Vasara and company, rather than the others. "You want to kill that big bane by the wall. Good. That's why we're here. Don't get me wrong, we're not a war-pack. But we're here to help in our own way. Going up against that bane without the proper knowledge or equipment will get a lot of you killed really fast."
Jona might have been less of a condescending bitch than his packmate, but that didn't say much. He still spoke with a slight air of superiority that suggested he knew a lot more than this war-pack did. Or at least it suggested he thought he did.

"Nadya, play nice and Jess is it not? Remember Nadya tends to talk more with her claws then her mouth." Saxon commented smiling as he walked along observing his surroundings. Constant friction was normal for Fernier heavy packs he knew that, but smooth was always nicer.
He nodded and then grinned at Jona, "If you have information then now is a good time to spit it out. Boss fella likes to know what is going on and people who hold out on him. Well he likes to introduce their face to his fist as a reminder to be more forthcoming."

Kamut nods to himself as Cloud-Dancer reminds him of their planned excursion. Even the anticipation is enough to make him tense, though not so much to show it. Ignoring Jess' attempt to start a pissing contest with Nadya and the entire pack, since he's sure the others will straighten her out if they see the need, Kamut nods in agreement with Anna. "You're right, it does seem like a lot of effort. I can't see what other reason they would do it for, so I suppose we explore other angles."
He glances at Jess, thinking of her earlier question. "That is a question we haven't had time to ask yet. I feel it would be wise to discover the purpose of this place in the material world."

Nadya snorts and laughs at new girl's major sense of humour failure. "You'd have to say something other than the obvious to be wrong about anything." It isn't a good impression to set, as even Nadya isn't going to overlook insults against her packmates. As long as it's not her doing it, anyway. She's more interested in seeing how Anna takes it to see if the little kid will stand up for herself, so leaves it to her to put the newcomer in her place.

Vasara kept walking as Dire Wolf, his nostrils searching for unfamiliar scents, ears trying to separate the scuttle of spiders from normal background noises and his eye darting from shadow to shadow.
He could handle Wyrm, it was easy. After all, all you needed to do was to face it claws-first. He also understood Wyld on some level. But the inner city, the chaos of surrounding unyelding order... Pattern-Spiders, Weaver... he didn't understand that and didn't know how to best react against it.
And it turned him more and more aggresive and paranoid. He decided to let others talk what they wanted. The alien landscape and his constant headache was making him want to blindly lash out and he knew it would not be good to start bounding on others now. He would hate to carry them back to safety after all the fun.
"Can we move faster?" he snarled as he turned his walking into slow jogging.

Anna doubted Vasara would volunteer them to go investigate the building, and Cloud-Dancer hadn't asked them to. "I did what we needed to do. If you think you can do better, go ahead and take a look yourself," she said to the new girl before turning to Vasara, still walking briskly beside him. She shifted to Lupus and started to walk faster to keep up. She was interested in what they had to say about the bane, but this wasn't really the place.

((Just going to go back and wrap bold tags around my speech. I'm not 100% sure people aren't inadvertently reacting to things Jess has only thought, so I'll go make it clear.))
Jess remains standing in homid. She doesn't respond to Nadezhda's words this time. There isn't anything more to say. Instead she calls after Anna. "All I know is that your pack doesn't seem to want you to share what you saw with the only other Theurge present. If that's the way you want to play it, our job here's going to be very hard."
With that and a shake of her head she turns away. She's not about to follow these Fenrir without being asked to, and doesn't much fancy following the bitch who put her and Jona on the front line either. She looks down a third street, considering where to go next.

"Quit trying to antagonise them," Jona said, although he seemed a little amused. "I don't think they'll put you back together once they've ripped your head off."
The only thing that stopped him from pissing off was Saxon. He followed behind the larger Bone-Gnawer, feeling a little encouraged that at least someone cared about what they had to say. He didn't know if they were normally that abrasive, or just uneasy here in the presence of the weaver.
"Come on," he said to Jess, then shifted to Lupus as well and followed the war-pack to wherever they were going.
