Micah almost snarled at Saxon, but he didn't become the Keeper by losing his cool at every confrontation. He seemed to almost smile when Anna spoke, but finally he just looked at Vasara, and tried really hard not to look away as he looked him in the eye.
"I did not say I would not let you in," Micah said. "Although it is within my right and duty to do so if I believe it is for the best interest of the Caern. I am not going to stand in your way." He looked away from Vasara. It was clear that depsite being no coward, he was not going to stand up to the Fenrir who looked at him with the rage of Fenris himself, especially if that Fenrir was once his Alpha. He looked at Anna instead. "When have I every turned you away?" he said. "But Cloud-Dancer-rhya is not here. She and Edward are attending to... important matters."

Vasara walked past Micah and only said "Thank you." as he entered the caern "We will be gone for some time. Hold the fort. We might have something that can turn things around."
Vasara just looked around at the caern if there was anyone around, then he briefly corrected positions of photos over the fireplace. He gave a demanding look at Anna and Kamut. "You know what to do."

Slagbröder milled around the library's general reading area, and before Anna and Kamut could head out to fulfil whatever unspoken order Vasara had give them, they were joined suddenly by a man they hadn't had the fortune of meeting before. Ben wasn't a particularly handsome man, at least not to humans. But for Garou, he was not an easy man to overlook. He was nowhere near as imposing as Saxon or even Vasara, but he didn't need to be. Like Anna and Vasara, his pure breeding was apparent.
"You must be Judgment-from-the-Skies," he said. He sounded confident, and his voice had a commanding presence. "We haven't met, but I have heard of you and your pack. I have been hoping to run into you for some time now. I am Commands-the-Tides, Theurge of the Shadow Lords."
He didn't give his rank, but the fact that despite his formality, he hadn't addressed Vasara with the honorific meant he probably wasn't just a Cliath.
"You were looking for Cloud-Dancer-rhya?" he asked. "Maybe I can be of assistance?"

"Right, a map," Anna started looking around for maps, and finally found one and returned to the reading area. She looked up at the Shadow Lord, a little surprised. So many new people had arrived in the past few days. The Sept had more than doubled in just a few weeks.
She found Kamut and opened the map. "This is the checkpoint we'll be crossing," she said. "We need to get here. This is the route I took." She traced the route on the map with her finger. "It took me half a day to get back, but I was pretty torn up," she said. "It shouldn't take us more than a couple of hours."

Recognising the fellow Shadow Lord, Kamut gives him a nod of greeting. He doesn't expect one in return or speak up, however. He examines the map with Anna, looking for terrain features that might help or hinder their progress and making note of any landmarks that will be useful in keeping his bearings. "I am not sure we will be able to move too quickly, though. It might draw attention."

"You have heard from me?" Vasara grinned "Well, I sure as hell haven't heard from you, Commands-the-Tides." Vasara took few bold steps toward this stranger before stopping, leaving less than one meter between them. In that way he showed at least some minimum amount of respect to stranger's pure breed. After all, Vasara didn't this time actually physically step on his toes. Vasara too decided to leave the honorifics unsaid. Things like that needed to be earned. Calling Cloud-Dancer as -rhya also hinted that he might be talking to another Fostern.
"Yeah, we are looking for Cloud-Dancer-rhya. We might need some assistance on Spirit-things to aid us in our Quest."

"I am not surprised," he said. "After all, I have only been here a couple of days." He caught sight of Kamut and returned the greeting with a nod. Mule or not, he was a tribemate who had earned his rank. The least he could do was acknowledge him. "I don't know where the Adren went, or when she'll be back, but it seemed pressing," he said. He paused, unsure of whether the Fenrir would want to trust him with advice, but he was rather curious to know what they were planning. "I can't pretend to know as much as my elders, but I'll can try to help. What is this quest of yours?"

Vasara looked at his pack, they were strangely quiet. Vasara shrugged, maybe they just were being nostalgic and then he focused on Shadow Lord. "So, you said you're theurge? That might help. We are on a Quest to find a new Guardian at the Wall. You know, after we whack the Crab we can't leave the hole in the Wall unguarded." Vasara looked at the Shadow Lord more closely. This one seemed somewhat different. Too friendly.
"We know who we seek, we will run through East and we will come back with a Warwolf of Fenris." Vasara revealed. Anyways, if the Shadow Lord was going to be difficult in the future or try to mess Slagbröders plan, he could always be turned into a warning example. "We are thinking on collecting some trophies for the Warwolf to get him interested." Vasara seemed to measure Commands-the-Tides.
"You know, heads and stuff."

"That's quite a good idea," Ben said, sounding genuinely impressed. "A very fitting idea from a Fenrir." He sat down as he pondered the problem ahead. "It is customary to offer chiminage before being asked," he said. "But war wolves..." He considered things, trying to remember everything he'd learnt at a Sept which was as much Fenrir as it was Shadow Lord. Finally, he answered confidently. "Head up there, tell the war wolf you are willing to prove yourselves by hunting down an enemy of his choice. He will want to decide himself what you can handle. Whatever fight he chooses, you cannot run from it. But then from what I've heard, I don't need to give you that warning."

"Well, we might try that too." Vasara looked at Anna to make sure she as pack's theurge heard what the Shadow Lord said. "I think we have found what we need to find here, or have we?" Vasara said to Kamut and Anna "You got alternative routes figured out too?"
"Thanks for your help. So you think we should instead of trophies just offer ourselves to Warwolf?" Vasara said to Commands-the-Tides and could not help to let some suspicion to slip in his voice. Then he shrugged "We will see how much of help it actually will be." Vasara was still a bit nervous at the whole idea of facing the war wolf. Things like these were definitely, in every way, not his territory. Umbra itself was something almost incomprehensive to him, and going through enemy territory to face one of the powerfull spirits there... Well, every day was a good day to die, Vasara thought. When the time came to join the ancestors, there was not much you can do, and worrying about it in advance definitely was not going to help. "Whatever comes, we will conquer it to get the Warwolf to join the fray. Or we will die trying."
Vasara gave Anna and Kamut a short moment to memorize the routes. "Are we ready to go?"

When Vasara looked at Anna, Ben glanced at her too. He didn't know who the pack's Theurge was, but they were all here and listening, so he continued to talk to Vasara.
"If you need to offer the Warwolf anything to draw him to you, let it be your own flesh and blood," Ben said. That might sound a little morbid to anyone besides a Fenrir, but Ben said it very casually, possibly because he knew who he was talking to. "It will show your commitment to your task. Then let your Theurge introduce you, in the speech of Spirits, if they know it. Offer your chiminage before he asks, and whatever he asks, be ready to do it."
He couldn't really give them more advice than this, but proper etiquette could make or break a deal. "Good luck," he said. "And be safe. I will let the Sept's Alpha know where you've gone, if you want me to."

"Yeah, let the Walks-With-Death know." Vasara said, almost snarling Danny's deedname and his voice made it very clear he had no intention on using honorifics. After all, Slagbröder had left the caern, and were only nominally members of the Sept at the moment. Micah's welcome gave him a thought that Danny might even have tried to prevent Packs arrival using Micah. Someone protecting Spiral-cubs could do anything after all. "...And make sure you tell Cloud-Dancer-rhya too. Thank you for your help."
"Let's go, we have a job to do." Vasara ordered the Pack and looked at Kamut and Anna. "Take the lead." he said to Kamut as he stepped sideways to Umbra to begin the risky journey.

Anna stood up, leaving the map on the table. "We've sorted it out," she said. "Shadow-Stalker will scout ahead, and I will lead you through the same route."
She looked up at Commands-the-Tide. "Thank you," she said, and then stepped sideways. Here at the Caern, the pack could follow easily without her help. Still, she probably arrived in the Umbra before they did, and took her time shifting to her Lupus form.

Kamut follows swiftly and takes to his motley lupine form. He waits only for everyone to arrive, then does as he was instructed and starts off in the direction they had worked out on the map.

Before following through the Umbra Nadya deposits her knife, gun and the spirit brew in her bunk. Predictably, she appears last in the Umbra before taking to Glabro, assuming they aren't going to move at wolf speeds to get there rather than exercising some caution. "Don't get lost, kid."
