Saxon laughed, "Well both ends of the social spectrum then." He glanced at Christine uncertain from her tone and behaviour how much about Garou she knew.
"The Silver fangs are in their eyes the elite, the nobles of the Garou. The Bonegnawer are the trash or so many of the tribes seem to think."
Saxon shrugged, "Never got that hung up on the tribal thing much myself. It is the person that is important, not the tribe they where born into."

Vasara looked at Nadezhda. "You heard them. I will talk to you later."
Vasara's eye wandered back on this old man. "We are YOURS to command, sir." he said and briefly looked at Danny. Vasara definitely did not give him any power over Slagbröder, but this Fenrir was kind of leader Vasara had been waiting for. He doubted there was need for more words.
"With permission, I have Rites to attend and a Fostern-challenge to deal, sir." Vasara looked at Slit-Throat, waiting for his reply.

Slit-Throat watched people around him for their reactions on his style of management, and then focused back on this Alpha. "If you are here to fight for Gaia and Caern, you are under everyone's command who out-ranks or out-positions you." he snarled. Who the hell did he think he was? Elvis? "I will put you under my eyes. You will be Guardians of this Caern until further notice, under my direct command as a Warder. You have no permission to dissappoint me."
"Dismissed."

Vasara looked at Anna and walked to kitchen to accompany Saxon. The girl caught Vasara's attention too, but he had so much to do and time was running mercilessly. He looked at the clock. "We start now." he said to Saxon. "I will accompany you on your Challenge."
He looked at Anna. "I think you should accompany us. I have Rites to do and a theurge around might be handy."

Eager to both witness the challenge and some rites, Anna nodded and followed Vasara into the kitchen. Partly, she also wanted to get away from all the tension in the library. Things really had changed. They hadn't really needed a big boss to push them around before, because they all knew what they needed to do and they did their best to do it. But with people like Nadya showing up, it seemed a character like Slit-Throat was exactly what they needed.
"Hi," she said to the girl, but like Vasara she didn't stop to chat. They had things to do.

David looked at Slit-Throat and made a note not to piss him off. That fist looked a bit more than he could handle. He lowered his head for a moment and asked Slit-Throat, "Sir, might I have your permission to speak?"

"Yes. Keep it short and think really hard before you speak." Slit-Throat rasped at David as he finally plucked Nadezhda's teeth from his knuckles. Maybe he could make a crude necklace using the teeth... His train of thoughts stopped and he looked at David "I am getting tired of yapping.".
A necklace... He needed to find a thread somewhere... Slit-Throat resisted the urge to just leave and find one. Maybe this Cub actually had something worth listening to say.

David looked up at the sword on the wall and then replied, "Sir, I would like to know if I could wield that sword up there in battle. I have some skill in swordplay and it looks like that blade has been used in battle. So I would like to know if there was some way that I could be allowed to use it, or prove that I am worthy of it?"

"A sword? That sword? To you?" Slit-Throat was not sure should he bash boys head in or just toss him away for even asking. "No. You will not get it or take it. You want a sword? Then go out and buy one. You want a good sword that won't fail you under stress of combat? You go and find a weaponsmith to make one specifically for you or you go and learn how to bend metal under your will and you create your own sword. BUT you NEVER walk around asking for access to Trophies other people have earned."
"Get the hell off my face before I forget you are a Cub and learn some fucking manners!"

"A sword is built for battle, not for decoration. If the sword could speak for itself, it would want to be used. The saber I had in the East wasn't for decorating the wall of my flat, it was used in combat.", he thought to himself. He said in reply to Slit-Throat's statement, "I was only asking to borrow it for battle, and that would be for use against a Black Spiral Dancer named Kord who owes me big time."
David then realized that he probably should've shut his mouth earlier and looked at Cloud-Dancer. He said to her, but low enough for Slit-Throat not to hear, "Well, hopefully I'm not in for another beating. Would Danny be more willing to let me borrow it since this elder here seems to be rather combative?"
