After walking from one end of Berlin and back, not only had Kat found a possible place to stay, she also managed to find a job cleaning tables and doing dishes. Yet, she felt it be best to check in see if she's needed anywhere. Nodding as she passed Micah, it was no surprise to find Danny with a new stranger and so came the interdoction. Coming right up to Adran “Hey, Kat, pleasure to meet you. I figure that you're new face around here?” She held out a hand, giving him time to recover from the sudden welcome party of one, and to the opportunity to look at him

Adran started when Kat spoke up, but he recovered his composure and said, "Yep, I'm the new guy. I'm Adran, Cilath Galliard Child of Gaia. I was just introducing myself to Danny here. I've been on the run for some time now from three Spiral Ahroun. Since I have a shop here in Berlin, I figured this would be a good place to escape to."
Adran shook her hand with a smile and added, "So who might you be?" He then turned to Danny and said, "Who is the Caern Warder around here?"

"Silent Hunter has gone to find the Warder," Danny said. "He is a Fenrir Athro known as Slit-Throat Packmangler."
He greeted Katrine with a smile. "It's good you're here," he said. "Adran has been telling me about a tainted book that exploded when torn up. I was hoping to get a look at it myself. I have a feeling we haven't heard the last of this."
It had been a while since he had been free to go on this kind of wild goose chase himself. He almost looked excited.
"Who has the book now?" he asked Adran.

Adran had a look of worry on his face when he heard that Slit-Throat was Fenrir, but he comforted himself with the knowledge that Danny would back up his story. He replied to Danny, "When I went to Vasara's bar, Ragnarok, I gave Vasara the book. I don't know what he did with it afterwards, but I did want to try to study it some more. Although she won't tell me what it did, the book did something to her when she opened it. She shredded it shortly after she looked in it and nearly killed herself with it. Though it reformed itself after Anna tore it apart.
Adran then looked down at the sword he had and said, "Do you know of anybody here who would like to have this sword? I'm afraid I have no skill in wielding it. Though it does look elegant enough for a Silver Fang to use. It was wielded by what the pack thought was a vampire, but it doesn't appear to be tainted." He then looked at Katrine and said, "How well versed are you in the occult?"

Katrine shook his hand and interduced herself. ”Katrine, Get of Fenris, Ragabash, and it be interesting to hear your story sometime.” She paused and flashed Danny a smile, he deserved it with all the hazzle about that cub and the Slags. As they started to speak she fell silent and waited till she was adressed. ”That is a nice piece, one I could sure use, but I got Tyrfing and from what I know few use weapons, Cloud dancer rhya have a battle axe, she might use it, Hands seems more like a bow person.” Letting her finger run across the blade. ”As for that other thing, I am no expert, but I know my way around the futark and myths.” It was nice with some change of pace, all the hostile macho crap was getting on her nerves

Danny himself didn't use weapons, and although many of the Fenrir seemed to, most of them had their own. He didn't know much about swords either, but it did look impressive. "Why don't you give it to the Warder later," Danny suggested. "He is in charge of our defenses, and it would make a good first impression to present it to him." He appreciated Katrine's interest in the subject. She seemed to understand the importance of the old stories much more than most young Fenrir he had met.
"That is a good place to start then," Danny said.
He was sure he was less than welcome at Ragnarok, but both Adran and Katrine seemed to have made a good impression on Vasara and his pack. "Find out what Anna saw in the book. Better not bring it to the Caern, not before we know what we're dealing with. We can meet at Adran's shop later. But we can wait until tomorrow and besides we should give the pack some time to recover before we go harrassing them again."
"Let's go meet the new warder first," he said, and looked from Adran to Katrine. She hadn't had a chance to meet him yet either. "You should come along as well, he'd want to meet you too."

"They've likely had the time to recover from the battle, but it's not even a day since we left the battle. So I suppose you may be right."
Adran looked over at Katrine and said, "Well, even knowledge of myths comes in handy when researching the occult. We can research the book at my store some more when we get our claws on it again. But at least you don't seem like a Fenrir that shoves a Gift down your throat when a packmate has had her heart stop on her." He grinned with his words about their claws, but he then faced Danny and said, "Well, could you lead the way to the Warder Danny-rhya? I should get this over with. But you are welcome to join me as well at my shop. It might give you a good rest from the politics of the caern. Got a place to sleep above the shop as well, so I could likely take three or four Garou to live with me without a problem."

Old, one-handed and scarred man, well on his sixties, walked inside the room. "Isn't that then a good place for your pack instead of three or four strangers? Or are you too one of the loners?" he spoke after hearing Adran's last sentence. There were lot's of unfamiliar faces around now, and Slit-Throat didn't want waste any more time on them than necessary. The amount of stragglers worried him, and he feared that if there was to become a serious attack at the caern, they actually might lose.
"I don't know from where you are from but you usually add the -rhya after the deedname, not human names." Slit-Throat rolled his eyes. Garou these days had absolutely no idea on protocol. Then he looked at Katrine. She had a prestigious weapon, one rarely seen wielded by mere kids. "Who gave you that?" he asked from Katrine with angry and demanding voice and pointed her sword.
"I am the new Warder, Slit-Throat Packmangler, I am athro of Fenrir." Slit-Throat nodded a greeting to Danny as he spoke, Danny was only a Strider but he probably had earned his rank too.
He stood still and waited for those he didn't know to introduce themselves.

Konstantin walked inside right after Slit-Throat after having taken the chance to get to know the surroundings of caern as the place was introduced to Slit-Throat. He greeted everyone with hearty wave of his hand but kept silence as clearly Slit-Throat didn't ask him anything and he had learned to keep his mouth shut when elders spoke.

Adran turned from Danny to look at Slit-Throat and replied, "I am Adran, Cilath Galliard of the Children of Gaia. I'm a refugee here, I was originally from Magdeburg, but I was driven out of there by three Spiral ronin. I'm just an occultist, but I can fight as well, so I'm not totally useless."
Adran then bowed to Slit-Throat and added, "I'm just a loner, but I am looking for a pack to add my knowledge to. I do have something to ask you though. Would you have any idea of who would use this sword? I'm afraid I can't use it and it seems like a waste to just hang it up on a wall. It once belonged to a vampire, but it's not tainted. But if you don't know anybody who would use it, I would like to offer it as a gift to the sept." He held out the sword for Slit-Throat to look at. He then said to Kat, "That is a nice weapon that you have though. So what's the story behind it?"

Micah trailed in after Slit-Throat and stood slightly behind him. It had been very little trouble to find him after all the Library wasn't too big. His head ducked and turned a bit at the comment about loners, it was about time people were made to form up into packs, it was unnatural to run alone.
He nodded to Danny and the others, but like the Silver Fang that entered with him, he kept his mouth shut for now.

Cloud-Dancer entered through the front door moments later. Finding everyone assembled, she gave the elders a polite greeting and Micah a less formal one. She didn't stop to chat.
"You, I need you," she said to Silverforge. "Don't worry, I'll have you back here in one piece."
She started back towards the front door, stopping only to make sure Silverforge was following.

Konstantin looked at Adran as he introducted himself. Three Spiral ronin... he had thought those things were unbelievably rare, but it would not be first time he was wrong about things. He shrugged his shoulders. Spiral is a Spiral, ronin or not. At least Adran had managed to escape to fight another day.
"I am yours." Konstantin replied shortly to Cloud-Dancer. "Don't worry, risk of losing limb or life comes with the job."
Konstantin waited for a short moment to let Cloud-Dancer walk ahead of him. As long as she outranked him, he would show her respect. Ranks are earned after all.

Slit-Throat took the sword with his good hand and carefully examined the blade. "Sword like that is called a trophy. Each trophy carries the story of the vanguisher of the worthy foe, and often thing or two about the foe too to help generations to come to fight similar foes." Slit-Throat rasped quietly. "This is just a unwieldy piece of sharpened metal in modern times. The information on the battle, that is what counts as important, and that is why I want to hear about this foe and this battle. You know for sure this belonged to a vampire? Did you kill it yourself?"
"Who carries a sword anyways these days? You can't really hide one under the clothes unless all you intend to do is stand on spot in a robe or trenchcoat and look like something is rammed up your arse. You will find yourself surrounded by cops in no time if you try moving in public."
Slit-Throat noticed he was carried away a bit. Was it the age or was he just glad for his chance of Good Death? His face turned back into steel. "You didn't tell me your deedname. You don't have one or are you just ashamed of it?"

Adran shrugged and replied, "I never earned one. My Rite of Passage was a relatively short one. But I never had a deed name given to me because of it."
He frowned for a moment and then said, "The book that I gave Judgment-from-the-Skies-rhya was somehow connected to the vampire. Since when Anna looked into the book and saw something, she ripped up the book and that seemed to annihilate the vampire. There wasn't anything left of him except for the sword. So I would say that Anna killed it, but she won't tell me what she saw in it. But the book rebuilt itself when Anna shredded it." He took another breath and continued, "The pack was fighting two humans, one of whom Vasara-rhya killed and I don't know what happened to the other, but they didn't kill her. After the second human disappeared and I had moved one of their unconscious packmates to safety, I saw Kamut throw the vampire at Vasara and then Anna tear up the book. The vampire disintegrated in midair and a shockwave of something hit us when the book was destroyed. I know it damaged us as I have a few scars now that resulted from the blast. The book itself though is written in Enochian, which is an occult language that I can't read. But I haven't had the time to research it fully. Otherwise, the battle was won on accident, as I don't think Anna knew what would happen if she tore it up."
Adran took several moments to recover his breath and said, "I would think that a Silver Fang would like to have a sword like this. If there even is one that would want to have an ornate sword like this."
