Mid-morning
Following Hands of Mercy led Jona and Emelie towards the small forest that lay at the edge of town. They were still well within the boundaries of the bawn when they found Commands-the-Tides, or rather, Commands-the-Tides found them. They reached a clearing when he stepped out of the forest and joined them. He was a tall man with long brown hair, and obvious signs of good breeding to rival a Silver Fang.
He looked a little surprised to see them wandering around, especially since he only recognised the scarred wolf as Hands of Mercy. The others were strangers.

Hands of Mercy lowers his head to the Fostern and then shifts through into homid to speak.
"Commands the Tides-rhya. These two wished to speak with you. Jona, of the Bone Gnawers and... " he turns to Emelie "I didn't get your name."

She graced Hands of Mercy a smile. "Because everyone was too busy for manners." Then looking up at Commands-the-tides she gave him her full name, so he and the other two would know as well. "Emilie Baldwin, also known as "Moon Crow" Cliath and Thuerge to the Children of Gaia and recently returned from the New World. It is a pleasure to meet you Commands-the-Tide Rhya." She kept her tone respectful, as she incline her head politely as well. For some odd reason she almost wanted to curtsy, and she was sure that was due to the fact even she could see his breeding. But even being among the pure breeds in the new world had made her feel like this. Perhaps it was merely the fact he was a fellow thuerge and of greater rank, and the fact he seemed to exude a calm about him.

"Jona," Jona said in way of an introduction. Hands of Mercy had already introduced him. Even he couldn't completely ignore a higher ranking Garou's formality, however, so he added half-heartedly: "Fire in the Junkyard, Bone Gnawer Philodox, Alpha of Wissenfalken, Children of Merlin."
Actually, that felt pretty good. He wondered why he didn't do this more often.
"We were wondering if you could help us figure out some dreams," he said. "Commands-the-Tides-rhya."

"A pleasure to meet you both," Ben said, looking at the two newcomers. He spoke with complete sincerity that most people found a little strange from a Shadow Lord. But then most people put too much stock into tribal stereotypes.
"I'm afraid I'm not really the authority on dreams," he said. "Spirits and rituals are more my speed. It's Walks-with-Death-rhya you want for this."
He turned and glanced at Hands of Mercy. "I have been hoping to have a word with you," he said. "You are the archer, yes?"

Hands of Mercy makes a mental note of the names, particularly the deed names of both of the others, then replies to the Fostern's question. "Yes, rhya." He taps the case hanging in its customary place across his back. "What did you want to discuss?"

“Pardon Commands-the Tide- Rhya, but we are looking more at the possibility of needing to talk to the Ancestors of Katrine., in hopes they can help. The dreams seem to point to them and the sword she carries. The information is needed to deal with the bane at the wall.” She gave Jona a quick glance, this was his gig as it were, but she felt she should clarify before the other Thuerge got too involved in other business.

"He wasn't much help," Jona said. The Warder had just wandered off and left them to figure things out for themselves. "He did hear our dreams, but didn't have much to say. I mean I know they're our dreams, and we're supposed to figure them out. And if we don't, we really don't deserve to find the answers because we're not wise enough or whatever, but I really can't see why the spirits would want me to stand under a tree throwing money around. And Katrine wasn't much help. She seemed to build up our hopes only to crush them..."
He realised he was rambling now. He seemed to be picking up Jess' habits more and more now that they were a pack.

Ben responded to Hands of Mercy first. "You make your own arrows," he said. "May I see them?"
His attention was still mostly focused on Jona and Emelie, however, as they explained the situation. "I'm afraid ancestors are the Warder's cup of tea as well," he said. "Maybe he can help Katrine contact hers, if she does not know how to do so yet."
He looked at Jona and chuckled. "Sounds like treasure," he asked with a bit of a grin. "Were you trying to summon a rogue raven?"

Hands of Mercy wordlessly swings his pack around, opens it and extracts an arrow at the Fostern's request. He listens to what the other have to say, but doesn't comment yet.

"I don't know," Jona shrugged. "I was waiting for something, I think. I don't know much about summoning spirits, but how can a rogue raven help us against that bane at the wall?"

Em smiled at Commands the tide, that sounded like a suggestion of she ever heard one. Turning to Jona she smiled. "Well, thankfully I do. And if Commands the Tide is in need of Hands of mercy, perhaps I can go find what we are seeking. though mind you, it will take some time to prepare." She added that last because so many thought that summoning a spirit was like snapping your fingers, it didn't work that way.
She was a bit eager to show off, she was fresh back to the Caern, and eager to prove herself. She also wanted to fit in and find a place fast, her time with White Crow and his pack had impressed greatly on her the need to be in a pack.

Ben took the arrow from Hands of Mercy and gave it a thorough look. (Could I get a description? Plain old arrow? Anything fancy or special?)
He looked again at Jona and Emelie, and responded to Jona's question. "Ravens have old wisdom," he said. "And they have strong ties to the Fenrir. Both your dreams seem to be pointing in vaguely the same direction. Ancestors, old wisdom, and Fenrir." He gave his fellow Theurge a nod. "It is a Caern of wisdom," he said. "It should not be difficult to summon. But if you need anything, I am here. I will be filling in as the Caern's Ritemaster, until further notice." He gave them both a smile, and added: "Good luck."

Why was it always birds? Merlin, Owl, and now Raven. At least Raven wasn't a rodent-eating bird.
"Let's do this then, I'll get Jess," he said. Then he looked at Hands of Mercy. He was the Fenrir element, after all. Hadn't the dreams insisted on Fenrir? Or had that just been Jess' assumption. He really needed to keep those two things separate in his head.
"We'll be in the backyard," he said. "This side of course."
Then he suddenly remembered something. "Thank you, Commands-the-Tides-rhya," he said. "I hope we find this weapon. Whatever it is, we're going to need it."

Em also gave her thanks to Commands the tide as well, those hers was a bit more shy. Something about the other Thuerge's presence made her feel like she was in the presence of royalty, she wondered if that was how it felt with a Silver Fang? or was it merely Commands the Tide pure breed?
As she followed Jona back she said. "I need to run to my place and get some things to prepare. But won't take long. It should give you time to get your friend and I will meet you back here." She would wait to make sure Jona heard her before she slipped back into the real world and made her way back to her apartment for her things.
((How long will it take me to get to her place and back?))
