Hands of Mercy nods to the trio who seemed to be heading off. "Good luck." He then heads off towards the Caern to make some preparations.

Looking over at Jona Em nodded. " Your the boss." She looked as jess walked back and gave her a nod as well. "So, go see what the raven has to show us and then deal with the pack?" She was still petting the gaffling as she spoke.
She caught the look Jess gave and wasn't one hundred percent sure what she was about. But she could see that there was going to be a difference on opinions in things of a spiritual between her and the other Thuerge. Would keep things interesting.

"Pack first," Jona said and shook his head. "We'll do it the old-fashioned way then." He grinned at both girls as he continued. "I thought theurges were supposed to be patient," he said. He didn't know why he thought that. Maybe it was because Hannes had always been annoyingly patient. "Let's find One of the big-shots and ask for the rite to be performed," he said. "Even if it's just the three of us. You'll wait for us to be ready, won't you?" The last bit was directed at the raven gaffling, although he knew it couldn't understand him.

Jess nods at Jona's decision. It was a shame that the others wouldn't come, but then a few craft Garou could hopefully bypass threats it might take the whole of that warpack to batter down. As Jona addresses the Raven, she translates for him.
"We need to get ready before we go. Will you wait a bit for us?"

"Things to do? I will be here when you're ready."
It hopped off Emelie's shoulder and ran off to collect the shiny things, and hide them in a very secret hiding place.d
(Anyone particularly interested in playing out yet anoter rite of totem binding or can we skip ahead to that evening?)

Sundown
The Rite of the Totem binding was performed early in the afternoon, and before sundown, Wissenfalken had a new member added to their pack. At the simple explanation that they were heading off following a raven gaffling's scattered message, Danny's sense of dread kicked in, and he decided not to let them go alone. He put the word out for all the Cliaths currently at the Caern to meet him in the backyard at sundown. Despite their previous plans, they couldn't really ignore the request. And Danny had no idea what they were planning anyway.
"Thank you for coming," he said, in his usual way that made it sound like Zachary, Hands of Mercy and Simeon had shown up here of their own accord. "These children of Merlin are going in search of a weapon they believe will allow us to destroy a terrible bane that lurks beneath the ground at checkpoint charlie. I have seen this bane myself. It is not something we can destroy without help from the spirits. I hope that they will be successful, and I trust their knowledge and wisdom. But if they are heading out, I do not wish for them to go alone, without protection. They were reluctant to let you go along, because you are not part of their pack. I agree with their sentiment. However, I believe you will be more help than hindrance. But if you go with them, you must consider the pack your pack, and the Alpha your Alpha. Who knows, you might even find that your place among children of Merlin. So, will you go?"

Jess has been rubbing at her eyes all afternoon as the irritation of the tobacco lingered. Still, the Rite had been fairly simple and lacking a lot of the unneccessary pomp and circumstance that some Garou found neccessaray to tack onto such occasions for their own edification. She wondered whether this was a feature of Strider Rites, as they had to travel light, perhaps their traditions were more akin to those of Rat's children than she'd thought. Though probably with less use of shiny things found in trash heaps.
She had come with Jona and Emelie to the meeting, for as much as she wanted to get going, she knew they'd need the aid of the Sept to bring down the Bane, so she'd best not start pissing off the Sept alpha just yet. When he said that he wanted the packless wonders to come with them, she could have snarled, and it took some restraint not to. They'd invited some of these guys along for the ride already and they'd backed off at the thought of committing to a pack. Now Wissenfalken were being asked to take them along anyway. unable to think of anything civil to say to Danny's 'suggestion', Jess waits for Jona to speak instead.

Zachary listened carefully what Danny had to say. But, he still felt slightly unsure. "I will go, if others will let me to" he said, and looked at Simeon. He did not hold any illusions wether or not the Strider liked him. He had messed up and Simeon had made it clear what he thought about Zachary.
Zachary looked at Wissenfalken. "I asked Commands the Tides about the fetish" he said.

Simeon stood with his arms crossed as he listened to Danny's request. It made sense to him, but judging from the red heads posture she was far from happy. he wondered what had crawled up her ass and died, they were all working on the same team, even if not the same line up. his eyes moved over to look at Jona, trying to size him up a bit, not for a challenge but more to see if he could handle having outsiders working under him, if he was going to act like his red headed friend, then there was no way they would function well. The blond was also an unknown as well, new very new. But he was always willing to give new people a chance.
As for Hands and Zach, well hands he knew and knew would do his best and do it well. he knew Zach would to, he had no doubt the ahroun was a good fighter, he just hoped he would be able to follow orders and stay focused. thankfully there would be no talking involved.
And that though made him sigh mentally to himself. he had really wanted to look at the warehouse, but another night. This was caern business and took priority over his personal, even if it did rub him the wrong way. Shifting slightly he looked over at Danny and nodded. "I have no trouble with this arrangement. I will run under Jona- yuf and follow his lead for this mission, since our duty to Gaia is of utmost importance." He added the last to let it be known he would keep his personal thought and feelings out of it, and maybe everyone else should as well.

Hands of Mercy had come as requested, but waited for Simeon to give his response first as it would shape his. He also sizes up the three members of Wissenfalken, picking up on Jess' hostility. But then it was not her position to make a call on the decision, but her alpha's. He nods his ascent to Danny, then looks back to Jona. "It seems my prior arrangements just got postponed. If the offer is still open, I would gladly accompany you."

Emelie now stood with her new pack, looking at the others who were going to come along with them. She made no judgment on them based on what she saw. She had learned not to when over seas, as things were never what they appeared to be. She had also learned to work with others as there had been times when Mooncrow's pack joined with others for particularly nasty foes. As long as everyone did their thing, that was what counted.
She looked over at Jona and waited, he was the alpha it was his call now, though she doubted he would turn the sept alpha down in this.

"The boss has spoken," Jona said. "You're all welcome to come along." He didn't look happy about it either, although it wasn't because of any personal feelings. If they were going to come along, they should have joined the pack before, when he asked them to.
"Right, consider yourselves honorary falkens for the night," he said. "Do try to keep up." The last bit he didn't mean physically. They were probably a lot better warriors than he was.
"Thank you, Walks-with-Death-rhya. I'll try to bring the others back alive. No guarantees though."
"Let's go find out if your gaffling has bailed on us," he said to Emelie.

Zachary smiled at Jona and Simeon, both had been angry at him, both had not driven him out. Wether this was a punishment for the slip or not, Zachary decided to not think about it. "Thank you, Junkyard-rhya, I shall protect you from harm, as I promised" he said, then looked at Emelle. " Commands the Tides said as much Hands of Mercy had, it is bad omen to the carrier, but good to the army as a whole" he said, then streched to make himself ready to follow the pack.

Nodding "Well, I am sure he didn't since he said he'd wait, I will have to think of a riddle to give it maybe as a way of saying thanks for waiting."
Now that things were moving she found that same feeling of excitement building that she got when she went out with her last pack. She felt bursting with energy and her eyes were very bright and alert as she shifted a bit in excitement. The hunt, the chase it always sent her blood running, especially when they were off into the unknown. Taking a s deep breath she gave Zach a nod, even as she wondered who if anyone had really thought about what that meant.

When they reached the area where they had summoned the gaffling, it hopped out to meet them and landed once again on Emelie's shoulder.
"Are we going?" it asked. "Are you ready?"
