A pack? More were-puppies? So that's where the other were-puppy went... to get the pack! Well Karin wasn't going to be taken by surprise. She was ready for them.
"Solid information?" Karin shook her head. What more did he want? "We were practically attacked by an army of Fomori. What more do you need?"
She stared at Vasara and grinned. He seemed to have the right idea. "I like that idea."

Ilya lets out a low grumble.
"Patience, my excitable friend," He says in response to Vasara's outburst, "We must not decide anything until consulting the rest of your 'pack'. The thralls we have seen so far seem to be no more than muscle. We must find those pulling the strings. If we strike now, we may scare the leaders into hiding."
Turning to Karin, his frown intensifies.
"A handful of Fomori does not constitute an 'army'," He says, "While I do not think it was mere chance that those Fomori were in the restaurant, O'Tolley's may not be their base of operations. I believe some reconnaissance is in order."
He looks back to Vasara.
"After we have met the rest of your pack, of course," He says, "When can we do so?"

"As soon as possible, we need to wait until Kaleb returns and he might bring someone from the pack with him. If he's alone, at least he'll tell us a safe place to meet."
'what was taking so long with him anyways' Vasara thinks and looks around, then says "I think he should arrive soon, I'm starting to run out of patience here..."
"...not with you two of course..." Vasara sits down under the willow and smirks at that strange pair "So, I understand that there's ratkins here in Berlin, but what the hell are YOU doing here?" Vasara looks at Ilya smiling widely.

Ilya smiles at the Garou's words.
"I wish I knew," He says, "Myself and my Buri-Jaan... sorry, my mentor... had just run into each other after a few years apart, and were having a little catch-up drink... Russia, I think we were, I'm not well-versed in human geography. Anyway, it seems that some Garou, followers of the Pattern-Breaker, objected to our little get together, and we were forced to defend ourselves."
He remains silent for a moment, trying to recall the events as they transpired.
"I... I don't quite recall what happened," He says, "I was wounded... and... I think my Buri-Jaan enacted the Rite of the Long Sleep on me... putting me in a kind of hibernation."
He rubs his head, trying to remember. It was no good. Shaking his head, he continues.
"The last thing I remember was falling asleep in a cave... then... then waking up on a surgical table, with my chest opened-up like a trapdoor."
He nods to Karin.
"Luckily, this one stirred-up a bit of a ruckus before the surgeon got too carried away," He continues, "And I managed to free myself."
He shrugs.
"That's about all." He finishes.

Karin was running out of patience too. "Maybe he ran off?" Karin asked hopefully. She looked around nervously, as if expecting an army of Garou to pounce from the shadows, led by Kaleb. When nothing manifested itself, she turned back to Ilya.
"Maybe sleeping isn't such a good idea then. Better sleep with one eye open... two if you can. When the Weaver and the Wyrm get so friendly..." she shuddered. "Maybe we can see if the colony will help... you know, they might."
Now the colony was not too happy with Karin these days, but if she came with 'allies' like these they might as well welcome her back with open arms. Or they might just kill the 'allies'.

"Ran off? RAN OFF?!" Vasara looks like he's going to explode, but quickly calms down. He never even thought about that. After all, Bonegnawers DID worship Rat as their totem.
He glares Karin with his good eye and quietly continues, grinning his teeth "...no, I don't think so... We... well at least MY Tribe is not known for running AWAY from possible battle..."
"He will show up" he snaps and looks away. What did that RAT think? Gaia's Chosens running away when RAT had courage to stay?! NEVER!
Then he looks at Ilya "So... a russian, eh? You know, I'm from Finland. Makes me think we have some common history in many ways, being on opposite sides of Wars?" he had always been suspicious about russians. He manages to smile and thinks that in THIS war they are on same side.
Better watch my back here more carefully, he keeps on thinking, grim look in his face.

Ilya snorts at Karin's statement, his frown fading.
"Try not to sleep," He says, nodding his head, "Gotcha. I'll do my best."
He gives her a playful smile, before resuming his usual dour expression.
"I know each of our breeds have our own stories and our own take on history," He says, "But I was taught long ago of the Tapestry-Spinner's imprisonment of the Pattern-Breaker... I'm sorry... the Wyrm's incarceration at the hands of the Weaver. The Wyrm's captivity drove it to madness, warping its purpose from one of natural death and destruction to one of warped corruption, defilement, and mindless rage. From what I have seen and heard so far, it seems that it is getting harder and harder to discern Weaver from Wyrm in these modern days. Technology, the Weaver's domain, goes hand-in-hand with corruption and destruction. For all we know, the Tapestry-Spinner may have finally assimilated its prisoner, or been infected with the Pattern-Breaker's madness..."
He shakes his head slowly, dejected.
"These are sad times we live in," He says, his voice low, "Sad times indeed."
Letting out a sigh, the large man then clears his throat and looks out toward the Umbral horizon.
"Vasara, my friend," He says, smiling at the Garou, "We have Gaia in common, which is a start. And you've already proven yourself willing to fight for Her cause, which is all She asks of you. As for the Wars... I don't know of any bears who fought for Russia... I imagine it would be quite hard to hold a gun when you've got paws..."
His smile broadens.
"...and the uniform would just look silly."

Karin snorted.
"Yeah, I heard the puppies spend too much time fighting the wyrm and its minions..." she said with an ugly look on her face. "When it's the weaver they should be worrying about. Anyway, I'm done waiting."
She stood and dusted off her clothes slightly. Not that it made much difference. All this talk about the Weaver and the Wyrm was making her twitchy... not to mention thirsty for blood.

"And if garou didn't fight the Wyrm, then IT would devour Gaia. But I think you're right, I had never before seen city his big, and I'm starting to believe that Weaver needs our attention too. Then again that would thin our lines, and one of the most important rules of War is that you should never fight a war on two fronts..." Vasara says fighting off a laughter that tries to escape his throat from gurahls words.
"Leave if you must, I'd hope you to stay and fight with us but you follow your Ways and I follow mine."
"Just remember when you're bleeding alone in some alley with fomoripatrol on your tail to think that you had a change of having Warriors of Gaia on your side." Vasara stares straight in Karins eyes with a cold look then turns to Ilya and lets a smile to escape "So what is your Way? Wait a little longer with me or what?"
He takes another dried meat-pack and starts eating it. Damn, he had time to breathe and eat for a first time in... who knows how many days!

Ilya frowns at Karin, grabbing her arm and pulling her roughly back to the ground.
"We're not going anywhere," He says, smiling at Vasara, "Are we, my little rodent friend?"
He turns back to the girl, still smiling.
"Look," He says, not bothering to whisper, "I can tell that you are itching for some action, but I'm sure that a few more minutes of rest won't kill you. Besides, if the rest of Vasara's pack return and decide to attack us, as you predict, just imagine what fun we'll have..."
He frowns a little, but not enough to cover his amusement.
"...not that I condone that sort of violent behaviour, of course." He adds.

"Hmph," Karin glares at the were-puppy. "Fine, we'll wait."
She shrugged and put her hands in her pockets.
"You know, you should be a little bit nicer to me," she said to Vasara, leaning against the willow tree. "Doggie-fur burns very very easily."

Vasara looks Karin with very serious and cold look "You want to test me how I burn?"
"...I've been kind to you, I killed the guard who wrestled you down, I charged to help you when that bane tried to kill you, I've even offered you food. All I've got from you is suspicion and NOW THREATHS!!"
Vasara gets up and walks only few inches away from Karin and continues "...so who's being rude here!? If you want to test my strength, I won't be going away. So sit down and think before you speak. You show me respect, and I shall show you some too."
Vasara stares into Karin's eyes, he had no intension to back away now.

Oh, he was gonna get lunch for free again. Sweet! He keeps up with Danny and looks around for Vasara and the other two. He was hoping that maybe that rat got eaten up by the world and swallowed whole. Oh, that's not nice, be nice. Kaleb makes his way to the group and looks at them all. "Hey." He says to Vasara and nods his head. "Ilya, Karin." He says those two names as well after Vasara's of course. "This is Danny." He looks over to Danny and then back at the group. "Oh, sorry are we interrupting something?" He then realizes he might have after all.

Ilya lets out a sigh as he gets to his feet. Why did the other breeds have to be so angry all the time?
"Vasara," He says, holding out his hands, "I'm sure Karin meant nothing by her comments. Besides, fur is quit resistant to flame, I can assure you of that much."
He smiles at the Garou, letting him know that he wasn't there to make a fuss, then turns to Karin.
"And you," He says, glaring at her, "Sit down and behave yourself. If you keep this up, I'll send you to your room. I'm sure Kaleb will be here any..."
Minute... He thinks to himself as the Bonegnawer arrives.
"Kaleb," He says, nodding his head in greeting, "Danny. Pleased to meet..."
Wings? He muses, looking at Danny's feathered appendages. A Corax... no, they're not raven wings...
"Owl..." He mutters under his breath, then looks at Karin, "...and Rat..."
Oh dear, this is not going to end well...

Danny quickly assessed the situation. It didn't take him long to figure out which one the ratkin was. He was well aware of the wings that gave away the fact that he was one of Owl's favoured children. The Ratkin in Stuttgart hadn't liked it either.
"I apologise if we kept you waiting," he looks around, sensing the tension immediately. "I am Danny, Silent Strider Galliard, and yes, one of Owl's children. I am honoured to make your acquaintance..." this was to Ilya. As tall as Danny was, he still had to look up to face the Gurahl.
Then he turned to the Ratkin. This was going to be tricky. When Danny spoke next, it was in a series of squeaks and chitters that sounded, well, like a rat more than anything. "And you, brave rat. I know our Patrons don't get along, but if we are to sever the Weaver's webs in this city, we would do well to work together, even if we cannot trust each other?"
((OOC: Danny is using his gift of Beast Speech, and pulling every trick in the book to sound persuasive))
