Kaleb looks at Ilya and hands her over, he didn't know how to heal, and it seemed he did so what was the point in struggling? "As for something needing to be done about her because of the beast in her, don't forget we all have it. Maybe it's not her, but whatever started the incident that needs to be thought about." He scowls to the rest of them and looks at them all. "Maybe we can all learn something off of the previous events. Now, are we going to the kin's house to...eat or what?" He smiles and looks around at them all.

Vasara looks as his wounds heal and shifts back to homid nodding his head to Ilya.
He looks at Kaleb and says "We are all beasts, I know that better than you might even realize, but that is not an excuse. I did not start that fight. But you are right, she needs help, both physical for her wounds and mental for her temper. Maybe at Simon's place our lupus members and you all might be able to get some reason in her. We all had hard times when we learned how to control our Rage, and she really needs assistance there."
"It seems that for some reason she gets a bit agitated from my presence so I'll wait on other room when she wakes up."
Vasara is still really pissed off, but he rarely really goes off like ratkin just did. He takes his rucksack from ground and starts walking towards Simon's place, slowly enough to let others catch up with him.

Taking the rodent in his left hand, Ilya closes his massive fingers around the creature, tight enough to keep her from wriggling free, but not so tight as to cause any discomfort.
He then shakes his head at Danny, waving him off.
"I'm fine," He says, "And you and your companions seem to be relatively unscathed. It is Karin who concerns me."
He motions to his closed hand for effect.
"I think if this one were to be surrounded by Garou... well, I think it would be a bad idea," He says, addressing all the Garou, "No offense to any of you, of course, but she did voice her displeasure of your kind before her little outburst. I fear she may try to attack you once again, as soon as she is well enough."
Making sure his hand was sealed, he lets out a sigh.
"But it is my duty to heal her wounds," He continues, "And so I must do so. I will try to keep her confined for the time being, but please, we must try to do something for her. I would not like todays events to become a common occurrence."
With that, he calls upon Ursa Major once again, and sets about healing Karin's wounds, before falling in line behind Vasara.

"I think our friend has a point," Danny nodded. "We will be right outside the park. Once you have managed to calm her down, follow us."
He walked after Vasara. "I don't think it's you. Most Ratkin dislike Garou, and at times I find it hard to blame them for it. They remember the war of Rage better than we do. And this one seems especially irritable."
Once outside the park he leaned against the wall. "I don't think the wings helped that much either. Ratkin loathe Owl because of his habit of feeding on rodents. Where did you guys pick up a Ratkin anyway?"
He looked at both Vasara and Kaleb questioningly.

Ilya closes his hands around the rat and concentrates on healing her. He isn't as effective as he was with Danny and Vasara, though. Although the wound doesn't close up completely, it is enough to pull Karin out of unconsciousness.
Current Status: Vasara heals fully Danny heals fully Karin heals 2 levels of aggravated (still on 2 agg, 1 lethal and 2 bashing)[/color]

Karin slowly opened her eyes and looked around. She tried to move, but it hurt horribly and something was restricting movement. For a second she panicked, but then she looked up and realised it was Ilya who was holding her. The were-puppies were gone.
Oops...
She wasn't quite sure what had happened. The last thing she remembered was that other puppy getting all mad at her, and then there was the one with the wings... This was all very confusing.
Karin tried to shift to homid, but that didn't seem to want to work either... "Hey, let go," she chittered weakly.

Kaleb looks at Danny and looks back at Ilya, just to make sure. Then turns back to Danny. "I said we made some friends." He shrugs and looks at the rest. "They were at the diner with bugs in it or something, don't know why he was tagging along with her though." He nods his head to Ilya, they seemed quite the unlikely pair.

"He's right, we met them at O'Tolleys. We had a little fight there with fomoriguards, and I think the manager was one too. Something is rotten in that place."
Vasara looks at the park and after a brief silence he continues "Ilya also said that there's a some sort of corrupted laboratory in Berlin, but I don't know anything more about that."
Vasara takes off his leatherjacket and stuffs it in his ruck sack, it was ripped apart and useless now. "Well, I KNOW you're hungry" he says smiling and tosses Kaleb package of nuts and some dried meat.
Vasara leans against the wall next to Danny "Any luck on your mission, are the others ok?"

"Then I suppose we will have to wait for them to tell us their story." Danny frowned slightly in the direction of the two Fera. "Fomori... well that explains a lot. That place stank of the Wyrm when I passed it in the Umbra."
His thoughts wandered to the Caern when Vasara asked about it. "The Caern appears untainted, but needs to be reopened and it's Totem Spirit returned. I left Micah to watch the place for now. Blake and Anna have volunteered to find out if it is available. They will meet us back at Simon's when they've found out something useful."

Ilya frowns at the rodent's squeakings, his grip on her remaining firm.
"I don't understand what you are saying," He says emotionlessly, before raising her to eye-level, "You disappoint me, Karin. That outburst was uncalled for. You came close to killing that Garou."
He lets out a sigh.
"The Beast is strong in you, perhaps too strong for you to control," He continues, "You are a slave to your Rage. If you continue succumbing to the Beast's whims..."
He looks deep into her rodent eyes.
"I will be forced to end your slavery, once and for all." He finishes, his voice no louder than a whisper. It is clear that his words are not a threat, they are a reluctant vow.
Holding her still for a moment longer, he channels his healing energies one last time. If he were a lesser man, he would let her suffer her injuries, to teach her a lesson, but no, it was Ilya's duty to heal.
When he is done, he continues onward, slowly limping towards the Garou as they walk away, retaining a firm grasp on the Ratkin.
((Spending final point of Gnosis to activate Bear Mother's Touch...))

Karin stopped struggling and squeaking. She blinked and stared back into the were-bear’s eyes as she slowly digested the situation. Unsurprisingly the doggies had betrayed her, and Ilya, who was supposed to be her friend, had sided with them. Karin started sqeaking again. She was well aware of the fact that he couldn’t understand a thing she was squeaking, but it didn’t stop her squeaking it. However, she seemed calmer than before, probably because she had worked off all that rage while trying to kill Vasara, and didn’t try to escape. She probably could have done in an instant; it didn’t take much to step sideways.

Danny sighed and turned to both of them as they approached. He seemed to be understanding Karin’s chitters, because he looked at her as she spoke and even answered. It looked extremely strange, not to mention silly, for a man to be speaking in a series of squeaks and chitters, and although they had heard him do it before, it must have sounded rather odd.
After exchanging a few words with the Ratkin, Danny turned to Ilya. “It’s alright, you can put her down, I think we have an agreement” he said reassuringly. He stayed on his guard though. He knew better than to trust a rat, but at least she wouldn’t take them by surprise this time.

Vasara lets out short snarl as he sees Ilya approach, but then smiles to them and whispers Danny "...then we need a theurge, as I told before, I know a rite to ask spirit to forgive garou for abandoning caern, but how do we summon it?"
He looks at Karin, coughs and says smiling "Sorry about... that there... Cease-fire?"
Well, now he had at least tried to keep peace with ratkin, and if she didn't take his offer, he felt he couldn't care less.
Next time he wouldn't hold back.

Ilya smiles at Danny. He had caught bits and pieces of Vasara's whispering, but decides to remain silent on the subject.
"Oh, don't worry, we have an agreement too," He says, his smile fading as he looks down at the Ratkin, "Don't we Karin?"
Staring at her for a moment, he slowly lowers the rodent to the ground, gently releasing his grip on her before standing upright again.
"No funny business, okay?" He says, looking down at the rat. It would be so easy for one of his gigantic feet to squish the little critter right about now.
"So," He says, looking back up at the Garou, "This Simon you spoke of, he is one of your kin, I take it?"
He could sense tension in the air, some of it directed at him, but he wasn't sure what he had done to deserve such wariness. It was usually best to ignore such things, he would confront those who needed confronting when the time came.

The white little rat slowly shifted back to the familiar homid form of Karin, who pushed her short dark hair out of her face and wiped her bloodstained hands on her jeans. She didn't look angry anymore, but she didn't look too happy either.
"Right, truce. Sorry about that," she said to Vasara, pointing at his healed but still bloody chest, and that was all she said of the subject. She glanced at Danny, still wary, and at his wings, and then took a small step closer to Kaleb.
"Where are we going again?"
