The kitchen is just that, a kitchen.

Vasara came down, stretching and yawning. He placed the sheath of his trusty, elk-bonehandle puukko to his belt and walked straight to kitchen, lured by the smell of fresh coffee. He took his cup and filled it, then sat on his seat at the table. Someone was at the door, but Vasara trusted on Saxon's skills of diplomacy. That guy could be a concrete wall when needed and thus he could enjoy his coffee in peace. The coffee didn't smell fresh, it seemed none had went to food-store in some time. Vasara growled in anger as he looked the left-overs of the breakfast. "Thank you for coffee, metis." he said to Kamut "Get everyone around, we have things to do."
He closed his good eye for a second and tasted the coffee. Well, at least bad coffee woke you up easier than good one. It also made you properly angry for another day. He was really getting pumped-up for some killing, and his body-language showed it even on as peaceful situation as drinking coffee.
"You seen Danny?" Good thing Micah was a lupus and didn't rely that much on his claws as homids tended to do on battle. If he could keep his balance, the paw wouldn't slow him down in battle too much. And it was a worthy Battle-Scar, proving others that he didn't back down when things gets serious. Foolish humans often thought that scars and broken bones meant that you couldn't dodge. For garou they were marks of Courage and Glory.
"Anything worth for me to know happened here when I was away?"

Kasiya enters from the yard and goes straight into the kitchen, having heard Vasara's summons on the way in. He leans against the wall in a corner out of the way and says nothing. He had nothing to say. Should Vasara look his way he merely shakes his head slightly.
Otherwise he awaits the business of the day, aware that he would be accompanying Vasara and Saxon in searching out lost kin while the Bitches treated with the Ratkin.
To all intents and purposes he looks as rested and fresh as Vasara looks crumpled and furious. It was good to have a strong leader in these times.

Kamut wasn't quite sure whether he preferred 'kid' or 'metis'. Well no-one had said 'mule' yet, so it could be worse. He nods a greeting to Vasara and stands to the side. "I took a call late last night from some of the others, it was... Max, Adiyah and Yvonne. It seems they have found a cub, Danny went out not long ago to meet him, he didn't specify when he'd be back but I do not imagine it will be long." He looks around out the doorway, then at everyone there. "I believe everyone involved is in attendance."

Nadezhda takes a seat opposite Vasara, his own build-up was mirrored by hers and she smiled grimly at the torn, scarred and imminently violent sight of him. "Well if everyone's here let's get on with it. Keeping in mind I'm pretty new here, why don't you fill me in on what you already know about this lost kin and we can get on with pulling them out of the fire."

Kamut turns his head slightly to the doorway back into the library proper. His sharp hearing could faintly overhear the conversation at the door and, though Saxon could undoubtedly do a remarkable job of keeping out undesirables, he might also lack the ability to know who is undesirable and who is not. "If you would excuse me, I think I should find out who is at the door." he sais, before making his way to the front door.

Vasara was clearing his thoughts. He hadn't been around when Jan went missing and he hadn't been around when caern was attacked.
He looked at Kasiya "Do you have means to find our lost kin? We will form a search-party and try to figure out what the hell is going on here. We've been meeting those humans way too many times."
"We need to get back on offensive with them. They threaten the Veil, attack our caern and kidnapped our kin. They even caught a garou to experiment with. Too bad I threw the only prisoner we got out of the window..." Vasara smirked. If he hadn't been drugged, they would have that pencil-neck singing all about they needed to know. But he had been drugged and in heat of the battle he used the prisoner as a projectile. Too bad.
"They are immune to Wolf-Fear, they use both bullets and drugs to fight us. Those who attacked the caern even used silver. It seems they have some high-end back-up with that kind of equipment. So we need to be prepared for those. They obviously are prepared to face us so we can't get too cocky with them."
Vasara finished his coffee and listened as his stomach rumbled. It was good to be hungry when hunting.

Kasiya nods. He could have left it there but it would be better if the others knew the method. It was tried and tested and those who doubted on principle would be reassured.
"I will use the Rite of the Questing stone."
Of course he has a backup plan for when they get closer. In fact he knows exactly how he would go about their task, but thankfully this time he doesn't have to lead.
Mother provides.

"Well it sounds like they've cut down our advantages a lot there." She looks Vasara over for a second, from the look of him it was obvious he was all for going tooth and claw. He might not like the alternate approach. "If they use guns so will I. Getting in close is asking for trouble if they use silver, but I can cut down their numbers if they can be drawn out into the open. If I need it, I have a sniper rifle, with that I can fight a pack of Spirals in the right circumstances, a bunch of humans with guns will be no trouble. They are just human, right? Not posessed?" She shrugs slightly, posessed or not they still die quicker than Garou. "Doesn't matter really. Then once I've cut down their numbers we can kill those that are left on a personal level." She grins, she hadn't got her claws wet in a while. It would almost be worth sacrificing the shooting practice just to kill more of them with her natural weaponry. Almost.

Briefly, Kamut returns to the kitchen to get a glass of water for their guest. "We have a guest, I will do my best to play host until Danny returns unless someone else would be better suited. I think it would be unwise to disrespect the other changing breeds when they seek to grace us with their presence." He leaves it cryptically at that, the snippet of conversation he catches on his brief passing is not encouraging but someone had to make Sakura welcome. He'd have to leave any suggestions until later.
He returns back to the main area of the library.

"They attack from ambush and use dart guns that do little physical damage but contain a drug that is designed to put us out. The more we speed up the faster the drug works." Saxon commented as he leant against the wall. "Other than that they are human and die easy."
He looked to Vasara, "Ann and Danny still on the other side? We welcoming her back or we howling for her?"

"They seem to be human. But they WERE immune to Wolf-Fear so we can't be sure about that and must be prepared to face fomori or worse. We will make further plans when we find out where they have their lair. Guns or claws, flaming truck rammed into their livingroom, it really doesn't matter as long as they are going down." Situation was a tricky one and Vasara had a feeling things would end up ugly. If those men were weak fomori, then they could have their stronger cousins hidden at their lair. And with fomori you really couldn't tell what you were up against until things were already close and personal.
I think we have some weapons stashed at the caern unless the pretty rich-boy forgot to acquire them. And I took one of the submachine-guns with those damn tranq's with me when me and Saxon had our little night out. Feel free to use it if anyone of you can."
Vasara stood up and looked at Kasiya "Kasiya will show us the way with his Rite. We will check the place and make further plans then. Worst case scenario would be if they have their hide-out somewhere within city-limits where we really can't fight them on our terms, but with any luck we can storm the place without witnesses." Vasara had no doubts Kasiya couldn't find their target. Being lupus, Silent Strider AND theurge convinced Vasara that he could find anything if given time. His only doubt was the with the luck-part.
He left his cup to table and walked to the door leading to library. "Get yourselves and your gear ready..." Vasara glanced at Nadezhda when he mentioned the gear "...we will be leaving soon." Saxon got only a quick look. He was an ahroun and didn't need to be told what to do when the Hunt got closer.
"Anna's Quest for Fenris has just started. Within a week we will know will she come back or has she died."
Then he looked at Kamut saying "I'll check the guest. You will can come with us too, I have a hunch we could use skills of ragabash today." and walked into the Library motioning to Micah encouraging him to come with him. "Let's see who we got at our caern before I leave with others."

Nadezhda grins, glad that he not only had the balls to stick it on the line for survival, but didn't hesitate to fight dirty too. "Right, I'd like to have a look at that dart gun so I know what I'm dealing with... but drugs aren't my sort of thing. If I'm going to use a gun I'll be shooting lead. It would be handy if I could get hold of some of their silver ammunition though... I could use some of that when Micah takes me on this date to the hive." She finishes her coffee and gets up. "I'll be back in half an hour with my gear." Then, without another word, she makes her way out of the library.

Walking out along with the others, Kasiya makes a quiet request before leaving to prepare. It is not made to anyone in particular, just to anyone who can help:
"I need to know Jan's full name for the Rite. Something of his would help also."
This is a pleasant change, he has others to fall back upon, a firm place within a group and a simply defined task. He notices how quickly fractious individuals bond together into a group under those circumstances.
Gaia did a good job when she gave us pack instincts.
Friedrich whispers into his ear: "They do say a change is as good as a rest, my boy."

Micah didn't have much to say or add, since he wasn't in the pack no more. He nodded to that last bit Vas said, looking at each's reactions to what would be needed. The girl was far to eager for violence...might make things tough when things were eventually settled, and Kamut was by far to docile. As the girl was walking out, Micah cleared his throat to gain attention.
"Also, we might want to see just how many hell holes are open west of that wall. The one was bad enough...gonna have to deal with it later. But...if there are more..." He let that trail off, knowing full well how hard it was with only the one. Many would be so much more worse.
