Micah shifted to homid to communicate better. Nodding slightly to both Cloud-Dancer and Slit-Throat "I would be honored to show you around. If the moot wasn't a week off I would suggest that as a time and place as the packs are scattered on Gaia's business at this time. As Cloud -Dancer has said I am Silent Hunter, Fianna Philidox and keeper of the land."
Straightening up a bit he gave the new Warder a frank stare, as he ran a hand through the tangle of his own hair. but despite his rather 'non-groomed' look his breeding came through as he stood and waited for Slit Throats reply. The philidox in him taking the measure of the new comer as well, trying to form a more 'complete' picture of this newcomer to the caern.

"Yes he is, Rhya." Konstantin said shortly to Slit-Throat and bowed his head to acknowledge the permission to leave. He then focused again on Danny "I cannot blame you. Fenrir can be harsh and they are very unforgiving." Konstantin looked at Danny trying to read from him how bad the relations actually were. "At least I haven't heard anyone talking about deaths on this... on this disagreement." If things were as bad as it seemed to be, that was actually a bit surprising to Konstantin. He didn't lower his voice as he spoke. If Slit-Throat was a new Warder, he didn't want to even look like he would hide things from him.
Then he looked at David with appraising look trying to see where exactly the wounds were. "So, you got wounded? On your chest or your back? How did that happen?"

David answered Silverforge, "It might be more visible in my warform." David shifted into his Crinos form to make the marks on his belly more visible.
After showing Konstantin his wounds he shifted back into his homid form and said, "Kord and Johannes, they were Spirals that caught me in Treptower park in East Berlin. I gave Kord a nasty bite on his arm, but in return he gave me those wounds. I still owe him a face full of claws for this."

"We have always been a very united Sept," Danny said to Silverforge. "Back when there were only a handful of us, at least. Things have changed. Now we have numbers for once, but we are scattered and divided. We do not have the strength we had before. Maybe Slit-Throat can change that, maybe pushing them will only make things worse. Either way, we cannot stay like this. Do you have a place to stay in the city, Silverforge?"
He looked at David's scar and smiled. "I am glad you made the right choice last night," Danny said to David. "I am sorry we cannot send you to safety yet, but we have reason to believe their might be spies among the border guard. We can't risk drawing attention by attempting to leave."

"Hunting down an Elder Glass Walker? Now that is the spirit! What did the Glasswalker do?" Slit-Throat rasped, clearly anticipating a good story here. Long way to Moscow, reasons to go there had to be very interesting. He glanced at Konstantin "Damn sure we are unforgiving. Someone has to be or we would all get trampled and betrayed at every turn.."
He looked at Micah and Cloud-Dancer "If the bigger packs are away, the main introductions can wait for the moot. We will use this week to see what we can do with help of people that actually live here. Show me the Land, you two." Slit-Throat coughed again. Damn throat... "Do you have whiskey here?"
He walked toward the caern and looked around. "So, this is the perimeter?" he asked from Micah and Cloud-Dancer. "Walk with me around the Bawn. I want to get some feel on this place."

"He disappeared without a trace," Cloud-Dancer said with a grin. "It's not that kind of hunting. One of our Glass Walkers is his nephew. He's trying to prove he's not dead, I guess."
She gave him a nod and they started to walk along the perimetre, away from Danny and the Silver Fangs. "Allright," she said. "Let's head further North, there's a forest there that's part of the bawn." She pointed towards the North as they started to walk. "The whiskey's at Ragnarok," she said. "The Caern is a little low on that sort of thing. Well nobody actually lives here, at least not permanently. We try to rotate and always make sure there is a pack around. Some of the kids are staying until they get themselves sorted out, and Walks-with-Death-rhya and Silent Hunter never leave at all, but the Caern doesn't really support anyone 'living' in it." Slit-Throat might remember that Cloud-Dancer always did talk too much. As a Cliath it had been impossible to shut her up. Now the only occasions when she didn't talk was when she was swinging the labrys. "Most Garou live within a five to ten minute radius," she said. "Here in the town of Schulzendorf. Only Vasara's pack live at Ragnarok, in the city."

Moving to walk along with the other two Micah nodded at the question about the bawns edge. He was content to let Cloud-Dancer do all the talking, he had done so much earlier with David it was nice to let someone else do it.
He listened as Cloud rambled on and smiled slightly. She had a pleasant voice and it always reminded him of when she and the others had found him as a lost, scared wolf cub. She had been one of his primary 'comforters'. leaning forward slightly he looked over at her. "Well, thankfully someone brought food, and I have found out Simeon is finally looking for a place of his own. But I and Walks with Death are the primary caretakers."

"I don't have a place." Konstantin said to Danny "But I can live in a motel and I have some family here." he stroke his beard and thought about Danny's words "People needs discipline, or they will lose focus. They cry for freedom and use that as an excuse of succumbing into hedonism.... or get lost on details and loses focus on goal." Konstantin suddenly realised something. He himself had done that. Living with no-one in his smithery focusing on details might have clouded his mind too. He shrugged and continued "Anyways I would be grateful if I could stay here for a night or two. My gear was sent to my relative so I am basically standing on nothing until I get a word of package-arrival."
He looked at David again "Nice wounds. Definitely worth Rite of Wounding. And it is on front. That is good. We are not above running away on face of certain death, but as Tribe of Kings amongst garou we must lead by example, and we must honor those below us. We run only when others are safe. Remember that." he lectured David. "And I, as follower of Mighty Wyvern, do not retreat at all if defending caern. It is up to others if they choose to help. All we can do is give example. Some Tribes often willingly stands by us, others tend to be a bit... skittish on idea of fighting to death."
"You are of line of Frostfangs. Your ancestors are line of soldiers, great warriors. A bit Fenrir-like people if you ask me, as you have always fought in the frontlines. I am of Silverforge-family. My family is a family of armourers and weaponsmiths, and at war we are famous of our stalwart unyielding defence. I will talk you more about our House Gleaming Eye when..." he glanced at Danny, appraising his reactions "...when there is only Silver Fangs around. No offence, Rhya, but your Tribe too has things that are meant to be told only to your own people. How many Silver Fangs actually lives here?"

"Right now, it's just David," Danny said. "Wyvern is a wise and honorable spirit. He understands the important of protecting our sacred places more than most. I am honoured to have one of his followers here, even if you are alone."
He looked at David. "I will perform the rite of wounding today," he said. "And we will speak of it at the moot."
Then he turned back to Silverforge. "I know you two will be a great asset to the Sept," he said. "David will need a strong pack to guide him. Do you run alone, Silverforge?"
It was a strange thing for Garou to be without packs, David would learn that soon enough. But here in Berlin it seemed to be quite common. Something about the city attracted the lone wolves.

David looked at Danny and asked, "So what is the Rite of Wounding?" David told Silverforge as well, "You're an armorer, I suppose you must have some skill in fencing as well. But I will stand with you and with my house and I hope that I can prove myself worthy of my family line."
David stood at Silverforge's side just slightly behind him and waited for Silverforge to reply to his statement and for Danny to tell him about the rite of wounding.

"After I Quested and found Wyvern, I've never runned alone." Konstantin said to Danny "I think I see your point there. I am reluctant to run with a Cub as a packmember, but we will see how we end, right?" Konstantin continued and looked at David.
Then the student got his attention fully "No, I don't use swords. I have a idea of how they are used, but my own choise is a good, solid boar-spear with cross-shaft to prevent anyone from charging through the spear. Against unarmed garou or even sword-wielding one it gives me advantage. I can strike you and pin you to the tree, if needed without giving you a change to properly strike back unless you wield a zweihander." Konstantin kept talking before scratching his neck for a moment. "Well, in the end, your own body should be the weapon. Everything you carry can be disarmed or neutralised by wise choice of weapon anyways."

"Even cubs cannot be left to run alone," Danny said. "We will see how this will end. There are many Garou here searching for their place. You might find your allies among them."
"The rite of wounding will mark your first scars, so they will be remembered... and avoided in the future," he said. The last part was not entirely serious, and he accompanied it with a bit of a smirk. "You have nothing to worry about though. Shall we take a tour around the Caern then? You can rest and call your family afterwards. And I am sure David has a lot more questions about the tribe."

David's eyes narrowed at Danny's smirk, but he gave Danny a nod and replied, "I will look forward to the rite as well."
He looked to Silverforge and asked, "When you find a place away from everyone else, will you tell me all that you know about my tribe and lineage? Perhaps you can show me later what it's like to be facing an opponent with a spear as well." He waited in the same place that he was before and prepared to follow Silverforge if he accepted Danny's offer.

A babysitter.... he had been sent here as babysitter... Konstantin shrugged his shoulders and sighed. "You might very well be right, Rhya. Allies can be found from very unusual places. I try to blend in with the locals as well as I can." he said to Danny "And a tour sounds great. I might need to stay here for a night or two but I will try to fix my things as soon as I can. I don't want to become a burden." Silverforge clearly felt pride on being able to take care of himself and was annoyed even from a thought of being long time as a leech at the caern. He was not a bum, he was Silver Fang.
"Of course, young Frostfang. That is my duty here, to train and teach you." Konstantin said to David "My spear is coming after me anyways. I didn't know where I would end up when I was summoned to be sent here."

The tour did not take long, which was a good thing since Cloud-Dancer, Slit-Throat and Konstantin were all exhausted from their run across the country anyway. Danny left the two Silver Fangs to talk for a while as he prepared for the Rite of Wounding, and it was well into the night when he called them back to the backyard for the rite. A small fire was smouldering in the darkness.
(Anyone else who is at the Caern at this time may witness the rite.)
