Cloud-Dancer noticed him move faster than usual as he tapped into his rage. She tried to avoid his weapon as it went for hers, and tried to hit him back before dodging his sweep.

Vasara had entered the doorway some time ago and looked from the side the sparring as he leaned to the doorframe. Cloud-Dancer noticed he was way bigger than usual, probably in his glabro-form that for some reason didn't make him look monstrous or gigantic neanderthal-like. Well, at least it wouldn't if he actually didn't look monstrous with all his scars and weird radiation of cold Rage. Vasara thought why it always ended up in bad words with everyone when he entered the caern. He looked at the boy and used his Gift of recognising him as garou.
"You called me, Rhya. I arrived." his voice finally boomed from the doorway. "Are you teaching him to actually fight on purpose of killing and surviving or just some basic moves he can use on fencing-competition? Black Spiral Dancers don't fight fair after all." Vasara's voice was more worried than sarcastic. If the kid learned to fight with fancy positions and footwork, he would get swarmed and killed in no time against their totally unhonorable enemies.

Cloud-Dancer's momentary distraction with Vasara's arrival gave David an opening, and he struck her weapon with enough strength to send it flying and falling to the ground with a clatter. She still managed to jump and dodge his sweep, and gave him a grin.
"Nice," she said. "This is Judgment-from-the-Skies, Alpha of our war-pack." She then turned to Vasara. "This is David," she said. "We were only sparring. It's been a while since I've had the chance to do that. I heard you're trying out new members for your pack, or are those Shadow Lord rumours I shouldn't be believing?"
She picked up the sparring stick and started pushing the chairs and tables back to their usual places.

David put his stick by a bookshelf and started moving the furniture back to where it belonged. After he was finished, he handed his stick back to Cloud-Dancer and said to Vasara, "Judgment-from-the-Skies-rhya, I'm Lord David Frostfang, Silver Fang cub Ahroun of House Gleaming Eye. But just call me David. I'm already a fencer, but I won't be competing anytime soon. I've already fought Spirals and I know some of their tactics. And I agree with you, they don't fight fair, but neither did I. Though I still owe Kord and Johannes a face-full of claws for trying to deceive me. And I've got a nice scar to prove I've faced them."
David then noticed Vasara's visage and said to Cloud-Dancer, "It was a good sparring match. You fought honorably and well. Its good having someone to spar with who knows her moves. But I have that same feeling from Judgment-from-the-Skies-rhya that I felt when I first met you in East Berlin."

"It is more like attitude adjustment than actually searching new members. And we will get paid for it anyways." Vasara looked at the sticks used on training as he helped Cloud-Dancer to carry things to places they should be. "Our pack seems to work well, so we are not really on need of reinforcements right now. But who knows about tomorrow. We almost lost members on our Quest, so we need to start planning on advance." Vasara said quietly and looked around. "Things seems to feel... different here? Are you people up to something?"
"Drop the fancy words with me, cub. I am not having a headache now and you don't want to give me one." he said to David after carrying last table to it's place. He tried to figure out was this teen the one who answered his call yesterday. "Well, at least you seem to know your name."
"Nice scar?" Vasara said without a hint of being impressed on his voice. "Get used on getting more of them, and longer you live worse the scars turns."

Cloud-Dancer's mouth twitched slightly. It gave Vasara the impression that she knew something he didn't. "Have you met Zachary yet?" she asked. "Trust me, it's more than attitude adjustment, although I'm sure it's nothing Slagbroeder can't handle. But why limit yourself to one choice though? Let them fight for a place in your pack."
She finished pushing a chair back and sat down in it. "Where is Anna staying these days?" she asked. She looked around. "Different how?"

"I just introduce myself properly upon first meeting a person. But I drop the formal titles afterward. And each scar will remind me of a failure and a victory. I failed to block the blow, and yet I survived. At least you're one of the few people who doesn't insist on me using formalities every time I say something. "
David went to clear a space in the library to practice his evasion skills and his brawling abilities. He then went over to Cloud-Dancer and asked, "Do you mind if I continue to practice my combat skills over in that space while you talk to Judgment-from-the-Skies, or would you like me to stay and be social?" And then he asked Vasara, "Would you like me to go away and let you talk to Cloud-Dancer alone?"

"Zachary? No I haven't." Vasara looked at Cloud-Dancer, suspicious now. "Let who fight for their place? Anyways we don't take anyone in easily to mess with our dynamics. Some things needs to be tested over and over again until approved." Now Vasara realised why Ben had given such a ood price for accepting his offer. "Did you know about our Quest? When the Bane falls, Warwolf of Fenris will take it's place as Guardian."
"Different. First of all the new Shadow Lord fostern is way too friendly. I am sure he is up to something. Different because of Walks-With-Death and his recent actions. Different because I don't no longer know who to trust. I think I don't recognise most of garou around, and last time we did get weird welcome from Micah from just coming here to read maps, meet you for some advice on our quest and beat the shit out of packless we meet so they would understand the necessity of protection the packs offer." Vasara grinned widely "It's not like we were attacking here, just teaching a friendly lesson and taking few ears."
Vasara looked at David. "Formalities don't do shit when fighting for your life, I rather not use them myself. It is different thing when on official situation anyways, then the honorifics and titles counts. On normal life, if our life can even be called normal, it is only rank that counts to me." Vasara casually rubbed his head, from the place he had his skull bashed in some time ago. Irritating. Itchy. It was starting to ache again.
"And don't worry about things like that, you would notice from the fact that your feet don't touch the ground anymore if I'd like you to go away." Vasara's grin turned into wide smile with a small flavor of approaching headache.

"If you like," Cloud-Dancer said to David. "We can continue our match later." She turned to Vasara and listened to him ramble on about changes, and shrugged. "Things change," she said. "And Ben wanted a favour, he wouldn't have gotten anywhere if he hadn't been friendly about it." You're right though, everyone needs a pack, even the cubs. We can't leave them without the protection and strength it offers them. David might be new, but he's determined. He's been on his own for a while, and he's had to grow up quickly." Like you, she thought, but didn't say it. "I'm not asking you to make any decisions before you've tried them both out," she said. "They'll both be whipped into shape either way. You never know, one of them might turn out to be an asset to the pack." (Persuasion, and awesome Adren Ragabashness ) "And send me Anna," she said. "Edward's working out transferring legal guardianship to me. Officially, she'll have a place to live and all that important legal stuff. Otherwise, she's all yours."

David sat down in one of the chairs and replied to Cloud-Dancer, "I can wait, but are you saying I might have a chance to join a pack? I would welcome a challenge to prove myself. But only if that's ok with you. Who is this Zachary anyway?"
He looked back at Vasara and cheerfully said, "I have some doubt that you could floor me, but considering the situation now, I think its best not to test that theory out. But having a chance to prove myself capable of joining your pack would be great."

"I will tell Anna to see you."
"Yeah, sure. Throw the Cubs and retarded to me." Vasara rolled his eye but finally nodded. "I will take only one if I end up taking anyone. SO you can thank Cloud-Dancer for this opportunity. You will be racing against cliath then." he said to David. "If you were a cliath too, this might prove amusing. Now the Gifts of Zachary has already given him the edge over you."
"And I tell you both same I told to Commands-the-Tides. This is a warpack, if David or Zachary die, then they die and I don't want any shit coming at me for that. They will have to learn fast and will not be protected over actual members of the Pack."
"You think you can beat me? Want to try?" he snarled at David anyways "I don't leave things hanging. We can settle that thought straight right here and right now."

"David isn't afraid of death," Cloud-Dancer said confidently. "That is the ultimate honour for an Ahroun, to gloriously die in battle. And don't worry, he can keep up."
She smirked when things got confrontational. Boys turned everything into a pissing contest. But she didn't stop them. This was a good thing for David to test his limits, and understand leadership.
"We just moved the chairs back," she protested.

David snorted and said, "Gifts, schmifts, I still like a good challenge. And I have the edge of survival over him. Lets see him survive six years on the streets."
David frowned for a moment before replying, "If you wish to gauge my combat skills, feel free to. And did I say that I could beat you? Or did I say that you likely couldn't floor me easily? I won't challenge you, but if you wish to test me, go right ahead and say so. It would be good exercise for this morning. But death is no problem for me. If I die fighting honorably, that's the best death I could wish for."

"You said from word to word; I have some doubt that you could floor me. Didn't you?" Vasara shifted his position and clenched his fists as he took a low fighting position that combined elements from wrestling and boxing. "Let's settle that right now. This is not a challenge, you are not entitled to making them or accepting them. Let's see what you got, better to learn this way than when fighting Wyrm." "Use Glabro so you don't get killed." ((Vasara is already on glabro (merit probably might fool David to think it is homid) and Visage is on so; initiatives please? ))

Both are in Glabro (and David is standing) before the fight starts.
Initiative: Vasara: 15 David: 9
Vasara is on full rage and full will. David is on full will and 4 rage.
