The library's back yard does not look at all taken care of. On the bright side, it is well shielded from pubic view.

Carlisle had no real sense of the Caern outlay obviously, as the pair exited out into the backyard.
"Sorry. Anywho---where do you normally wet your whistle around these parts? Hell, what do you do in this city on a typical day?" Carlisle looked over to Edward, hoping to not find him still engaged with his camera.
"You been with the group for a while? Seems odd Max never really talking about you much." Carlisle still got the feeling that Edward was not everything he was confessing to be.
What kind of official business dealt with taking pictures of a place that was not known to many others; rather should not be known to many others?

Edward followed Carlisle out the back of the Caern, this was novel he had never been out this way before. It could really do with a lawn mowing visit by the same company that looked after his building downtown...in fact i should send a note to do that tomorrow.
Edward was caught in his thoughts by Carlisle's comments
' Well there are many places that i wet my whistle, this here flask of mine, only the best whiskey from my old mans stash back in NewYork. In fact he gave me a few more bottles last week.'
Edward held out the silver flask for him to try some..
'But usually I just go where ever there is a party going on, a club/bar or just at my hotel downtown. After all my chef cooks great meals as well. I am usually running around during the day doing one thing or another, i like to make an appearance at my law firm too. After all I cant abide by business falling apart when I'm not around.'
With that said Edwards stomach begins to rumble. Must have been the smells wafting from the kitchen out into the backyard on their way out..
'Come on this way my cars just out front, I hope you don't have a squeamish stomach.'
With a grin they head out to the front to gaze on Edwards shining silver car.

To Edward's horror someone else had reached the shiny silver car first. Said someone had already hooked it up to is tow truck and was in the process of getting into the truck and driving off.

To Edwards amusement it seemed that today just wasn't his day.
[Edward uses his gift to stop the tow truck running in its tracks, by turning the key in the ignition to the off position and locking the trucks doors.]
{Manipulate simple device}
On his his way over he says to Carlise 'This is different, seems I have attracted a lot of attention today. I'll have it down in a jiffy.'
He then makes his way over to the driver and asks him to release his vehicle.
'Good sir, you seem to be making a mistake by taking my vehicle. If you would be so kind as to release it so we can go home like a good fellow, I would be ever so grateful.'
{Persuasion}
Edward waits for the driver's response and hopeful compliance with his request.

Taking the flask that was offered, he sniffed the container--just to get his attention taken from the flask to Edward's misfortune. Carlisle, could not believe his eyes! Seemed the American Glasswalker's as of late, had an unlucky hand dealt to them. He smirked, watching the tow man hook the vehicle to the back of his truck bed.
"All that money you flaunt around, yet you forget to pay your bill or something?" Carlisle was amused that perhaps the pair were on the same playing field.
Which meant that Edward was not as successful as he fronted and that perhaps Carlisle was more successful then he.
With that thought came a small gleam and sparkle of delight, as if he had just opened the biggest Christmas present either one of his parents had bought him.
"This isn't very tasteful. The alcohol, I mean." Carlisle snorts and closes the flask, handing it back to Edward, nose clearly upturned.

The doors lock before the man gets to them, but it is Edward's voice that he responds to. He turned around and found himself staring at two the Amis, somewhat apologetically. "This your car, sir?" he said. "There's no mistake about it, this is the liscence number. I just tow the cars. You need to take it up with the department. You must have some unpaid bills. I'm sorry, man, I know it sucks. I'm just doing my job."
He turned around and tried to get back in the truck, but found the door locked and started fumbling around for his keys.

Edward is a little confused by this..
'I must have pissed someone off for this to happen, this never happens to me.'
Edward recovers himself and composes himself once more..
'Well my good sir, if you wouldn't mind showing me the paperwork. I can settle this matter right here and now. I can pay for the fines, your time and even give you a tip for being such a nice gentleman.'
Edward pulls his Armani wallet from his breast pocket and starts to flip through the bills. Thinking to himself,
'I wonder how much I have been fined, or for that matter did this.'

He pulled on the doorhandle a couple of time, before turning back to Edward. He held his clipboard up so Edward could see it and it looks like all the paperwork was in order, the car was being towed for numerous parking infractions. There was no indication of the exact size of the fines though. "There's nothing I can do, I'm just to take it back to the depot, I don't handle the fines. You'll have received a notification at your home address, that will give you the number you need to call to pay and get your car back." Then he looked at the truck curiously for a second and headed around to the other side of it.

Carlisle watched the display in front of him, he smirked.
"OH, man. Sucks to be you. Perhaps we will just walk the streets?" Carlisle shoves his hands in his pants and pulls out a wad of cash.
"Maybe they have a cab? I can spot you if you need the money." Carlisle begins flipping through some bills and hands a few over to Edward, making sure the bills are shoved in his face.
I wonder how pretty boy is taking that? Carlisle grunts to himself.

Edward was a little taken back by Carlisle's display of shoving money in his face.
'Thanks Carlisle but like i was saying earlier Im not short of cash.'
Which if he had seen inside his wallet that he flashed the tow truck driver, it was dangerous for any normal person to be carry that much cash.
'And as much as I'd like to give you a piggy back for the money you are flaunting. I'd rather get a limousine from the hotel if you don't mind. I have one on stand by for such occasions.'
Edward chuckled at his own retort to Carlisles joke about money. Seems they were both big spenders, Edward wondered if Carlise was as much of a partier as he. I guess time only would tell.
Edward reached for his handy mobile phone and dialed Henriche the Limousine driver.....ring..ring..ring..
While he was on the phone he said to Carlisle 'Unless you would prefer a taxi cab?'
With that said he looked in disdain at the tow truck taking his shiny car away to the city pound.

Finding the other side door still unlocked, the driver shook his head in disbelief as he climbed in the cab and made his way over to the driver's seat. His confusion was only compounded as he found the key still in and somehow turned off, but he turned it back and started the engine incredulously. He gave Edward an apologetic nod before driving off with his shiny silver car in tow.

Carlisle snorted when Edward's winning personality did not seem to budge the guy in any way shape or form.
"I doubt you're piggy bank would hold what I have in here." Carlisle tapped a finger on his bulky bill fold a couple of times.
"A limousine you say? Well, seems you managed something." Carlisle shoved the money back in his bill fold and stuffed it inside his leather coat pocket.
"Surely not all your vehicles will be impounded?" Carlisle stood on the curb of the street, looking down them in search of this limo.

Edward appreciated the humour that Carlisle was dishing out, a Ragabash just like himself.
Hmmm..he wondered to himself, maybe hes a Ragabash too!
The call didn't take long and after 10 minutes a long stretched BMW rolls up along the curb next to them.
After all Edward had a limousine on standby for just this type of occasion. It was good for business and cabs just didn't seem right to him.
With out waiting for Carlisle he opens the door and jumps in the back of the limousine, then goes straight for the Brandy bottle and fills a brandy bowl and enjoys the rich smoky oak flavour.
'Hey Carlisle! What you waiting for? Oh and whats the address you want to go to.'
WIth that Edward sits back and checks the news ont he tv in the back of the limosine.

-- The next morning --
Kasiya makes his way outside, shortly followed by Kamut. Kamut watches Kasiya silently, waiting for the enigmatic talk he was about to receive.
