Pain was good. It brought the rage. Cloud-Dancer brought the blade down on the horrible sludge-bane again, holding back the rage for now. At least the boys hadn't howled again. She trusted that was because they had the situation under control. At least she hoped so.

Hands of Mercy looks down at the Scrag at his feet a moment. It wasn't often he emerged victorious in melee, after all, then turned to the direction Erik was thrashing around in. He shifts slowly down into Lupus, then begins to approach Erik's position with a practiced mixture of stealth and speed, looking to see the situation before getting into position to add some perforation to Erik's remaining foe.

Erik tore into the bush and ripped branches and leaves away from the cover, but started getting a grip on himself just as he got through to what was causing the movement. The little rabbit spirit sat there petrified by the sight of the raging werewolf, a few moments away from being collateral damage.
The bane lunged forwards, thick fibrous masses swung out of it's body to form tentacles and smash against Cloud-Dancer, harming her with a combination of the impact and the caustic filth it was made of. Slowed down slightly by her accumulating injuries, Cloud-Dancer chopped at it again and only managed to cause another slight gouge. Taking advantage of it's flank, Many-Shadows tore at it furiously and found a soft spot in it's muddy flesh. With her furious series of blows she tore deep into it, gouging away chunks of it's filth that fell away from it's body and began to dissolve. Tyrfing wailed with the grievous wounds it caused, and came away smeared with dirt and slime. The H'ruggling bubbled and gurgled, releasing more noxious smells from it's body, as though it was in pain and crying out in protest.
Erik manages to pull himself out of it, so there's no threat to Hands getting in the line of fire, no need to stick to combat-posting anymore for you two Erik finishes off the last of his rage on the bush, so they're both on 0 rage, 1 will
Cloud-Dancer takes two levels of agg, total 3 (-1 penalty) You can't split rage actions, by the way
Cloud-Dancer has 1 rage, 1 gnosis, 5 will, crinos, 3 levels of damage Katrine has 0 rage, 4 will, crinos, 1 level of damage

Finally a weakness to exploit and a much needed one too, its stench was still making her stomach turning into knots and Cloud was no longer in her vision, but the sound of her growling and fighting was a good sign that she was still with her. Chopping into it, the fierce battle cry of Tyrfing sounded the air, edging her own into an attack with newfound strength.
(Split action, hack and slash, with Will on the first blow.)

The red haze having been lifted, Erik shakes his head, taking a moment to collect his thoughts.
No longer frenzied, he feels pain return to his body, causing him to look down at his shoulder. It was a ragged mess of torn flesh and matted, bloody fur. It hurt like a sonofabitch, but it was still functional.
Looking up again, he spies Hands of Mercy.
"Hey, man," He says, speech still impeded by his damaged tongue, "How'd you go against th'other one? And y'hear anything from Cloudy...rhya?"
He listens-out for any sounds of the Adren or her sword-wielding companion.

Now that really hurt. Luckily, the Fenrir had long ago learnt to cope with pain, and Cloud-Dancer was no exception. Ignoring the wounds dealt to her by the sludge-bane, Cloud-Dancer once again swung the axe furiously at it. The sounds of Tyrfing's wail, though terrifying for their enemies, actually spurred her on, and she brought the axe around to hit again.

Hands of Mercy steps out of the bushes and returns to his breed form, readying another arrow before shifting back into Lupus. His wounds are also apparent, though they look less severe than Erik's
"It's dead. I'm not. And I didn't hear much over the sound of you savaging the trees." He shakes himself a little then continues. "We've still got a job to do. Any chance you'd give me time to line a shot up before charging next time?" Without really waiting for a reply, he moves off, continuing to search the area, more wary now the pair were both injured and exhausted.

Erik accompanies the skald as he continues his reconnaissance, keeping an eye out for any other signs of trouble. "Hey," He says quietly as they move-out, "Don't think you can start gettin' lippy with me just 'cos I've taken a scratch or two... I could still mop the floor with you if I wanted."That said, he continues on his way. ((Granted, he probably couldn't beat Hands right now, but he'd like to think so... )

"Perhaps you could, but then you'd have to finish any more banes alone. If you don't want to use tactics that's your choice, up until the point you endanger other Garou."

Momentarily hesitant at the injury Katrine had caused it, the H'ruggling didn't strike again before both of them turned their spirit weapons on it. Katrine could not find exactly where the previous weak point was in the shifting mass of sludge, but she and Cloud-Dancer both inflicted some more moderate gouges. The spirit gurgled and sputtered, spraying them with filthy liquids, and finally began to dissolve, amidst the wails of Tyrfing in response to it's success. There didn't seem to be any more banes attempting to breach the gate at that point, which was probably fortunate for both of them. The stink was likely to stick with them for a while, Cloud-Dancer had been splashed with the greater part of the toxic sludge, but Many-Shadows still had a few spatters in her fur.
Erik and Hands-of-Mercy scoured the rest of the park as best they could, and found no more sign of banes in waiting. The commotion of the first scrag seemed to have drawn all of the banes that were in the area.
0 rage, 4 will for Cloud-Dancer 0 rage, 3 will for Many-Shadows

"Bah," Erik announces, "This is pointless. There ain't no more fuckers 'round here."
He nods in the direction they'd come from.
"I say we head back t'the wall," He says, "See if the others've run into any shit for us t'kill."
And, with that, he begins limping back to the wall.

Hands of Mercy pauses to sniff the air one last time, then moves to follow Erik, catching up relatively quickly before allowing the Ahroun to take the lead.

"Nicely done," Cloud-Dancer said, wiping the sludge off herself as much as possibly. It didn't really help. The bane's sludge had burnt her badly, but she didn't seem to mind. She was ready for more bloodshed.
She looked Katrine over, assessing her injuries. She seemed satisfied with her current state, however, and nodded. "Nasty toxic things," she said. "But we should be able to hold the wall until the boys are done securing the park."

She did an attempt at getting the smile out of her fur and off her, smelling like sewer was not all that great. “Is it always this quite around here?” They seemed both to be doing okay and there been no sounds from the part for a while, and making small talk was a lot better then laughing at the situation. If not for the blood, weapons and great among of fur, they are looking like female mud wrestlers and she found it a little funny. Anyways, it made her smile and to anyone not garou it would properly look really scary. “Yeah, we did, didn’t we?” Katrine replied and looked around the great pool of death H'ruggling

"This? This is quiet," Cloud-Dancer said grimly. "Routine security check."
She would have grinned, if it wasn't for the fact that it probably would have looked too scary.
"But they aren't usually this bold," she said. By they she meant the banes of course. "You seem to be able to hold your own. Which Caern are you from?"
