Not sure if Cloud had realized that that was a joke, she bothered no further with it, because it didn’t seem like she taken offence either. “Thanks, I guess that you learn or you end up like that thing.” Making a gesture with her head in direction of the death thing. “My old Sept was in Denmark, called Black Hill, but they figured that I need some change in scenery, get some fresh air and meet some new people.” Half expecting some comment or personal question, Katrine braced herself for whatever Cloud-Dancer had to say about that

Hands of Mercy and Erik approach the pair from the park, both clearly wounded, but still walking. Hands of Mercy heads over to Cloud Dancer to report, from his movements, more exhausted than injured, and he's reasonably injured. "Three more banes. Same as the ones the Guardian was fighting. Scrags? They're dead, we're not."

"No better place then," Cloud-Dancer said to Katrine. "It's good to have another Fenrir on board."
When Hands of Mercy and Erik showed up, she looked them both over to size up their current injuries. Although she could do little to help in that regard, she could at least tell whether or not they would survive another encounter at the wall.
"Good job," she said to Hands of Mercy before looking at Erik. He didn't look so good. "Let's just focus on holding the gate till the Guardian returns."

Erik adds to the skald's report.
"Chased a fourth into the scrub," He lisps, "Turned out, it was just some rabbit-spirit."
He appraises the others. While he knew he could handle another scrap or two, he was unsure of how the trio of Fenrir would fare.

With all four of them worn out and sore from various injuries, though Cloud-Dancer wasn't showing any concern over hers, it was fortunate that there didn't appear to be any more attacks coming. Time passed peacefully for a while, long enough for the aches from their injuries to really set in and for Hands-of-Mercy and Erik to get used to the stink clinging to Cloud-Dancer and Many-Shadows.
Suddenly a horrific buzzing filled the air that put their nerves on edge, and a small lumpy mass of bug-wings and eyes zipped over the wall and hovered high overhead. It buzzed back and forth erratically and stayed well out of reach of their claws or weapons, while it's many eyes turned to focus on the group.

Hands of Mercy immediately slips back into his breed form and lines up an arrow on the creature, pausing for a reasonably long moment before loosing a living arrow into the core of the bane.
((shift, aim, aim, loose. Loose earlier if instructed, the bane charges/attacks or someone, somehow is about to get into melee))

She nodded as reply t Cloud-Dancer, being welcomed like that was nice and she observed the others giving their report. She never reverted to homid, as they waited and as the thing came near the wall, she watched and prepared to attack it, if it came any closer

Cloud-Dancer looked up.
"That's new," she remarked, stepping back a little to get a good view, and keeping the axe ready to swing if the critter got too close. "Think you can get a shot?"

Erik, stuck without a ranged weapon as he was, couldn't do much more than watch.
He stays in his Hispo form, keeping an eye out for trouble, from the ground as well as air.

As Hands-of-Mercy took aim the bundle of eyes and wings changed it's course sharply and started bobbing and weaving as it headed back over the wall. It seemed it was smart enough to recognise a ranged weapon at least. Hands-of-Mercy took as much time as he could to aim, but that wasn't much and it didn't turn out to be enough. The arrow shot past the bane, barely missing, and then the bane dissapeared out of sight on the other side of the wall.

Hands of Mercy shrugs expansively. "No, but I can scare it off apparently."

Katrine remained silent, they had a bad habit of comming back bringing friends. Taking her time to notice the others, their choice of weapons, scars and other importent give away as to who they where as persons under all the fur.

Cloud-Dancer wasn't so sure they were done with the buzzing critter either.
"Stay on your toes," she said. "I don't like the look of this."
It could be nothing, but it usually paid to be a little paranoid. She had never seen anything like it, and that worried her.

"Wish they'd just fucking come over here and quit hidin' behind the wall, like pussies." Erik growls, his anger directed more across the wall, than at any of the Garou present.
He looks around.
"You reckon Stonetooth'll be back soon?" He asks, looking back at Cloudy, "Or ya think he's run into more trouble?"

Time stretched on further, the battered little group of Garou were forced to wait at the very point the hordes would attack if they chose to rush. As such, the wait in silence was a tense one that had all their nerves twitching at movements.
Eventually, there was a movement that wasn't their imaginations getting out of control. They saw a pack of five wolves advancing over the rubble of the East side, approaching the gate. They were walking cautiously, so Erik didn't notice them at first as they weaved between whatever cover they could find in the rubble.
They stopped their approach while still well on the other side of the wall, far enough away that Hands-of-Mercy would have difficulty hitting them with his bow. Then they watched and waited to see what the four gate guardians did. With the darkness, distance and cover it was hard to make any details about them, other than they were five wolves.
