"Great..." Vasara growled and prepared to get trampled by the hounds. "Watch my back, try to flank hounds." he growled out human words and charged against the hounds. Saxon would just have to take care of himself now for awhile. Hounds were coming at him so that might give David and Kamut a good chance to do damage on them if he could tie them up against him and survive long enough.
((Leaping Rake with splitted dice-pool against first hound, landing behind the hounds and hopefully making them turn around to give nice targets to Kamut and David. Use 1 Will on the athletics-roll involved to get some distance.))

David growled at one of the hounds before striking fast and hard against it. He moved in to flank it before lashing out with his claws.

The hounds rushed Vasara together and started to snap their teeth at his legs. They bit hard and although the pain meant nothing to Vasara, he could tell these bites would have ripped another Garou to shreds in seconds. He saw blood leak from his thighs, though. This was enough to bring him back into the battle. He he jumped over the hounds and landed on the other side. The hound moved again just in time for his claw to land, but it barely scraped the surface. The hound seemed unfazed. Luckily, David and Kamut were there to take advantage of the situation. With the banes focusing on Vasara, David managed to land a solid blow into one of them and tear out a chunk of its essence. The second hound felt Kamut's claws connect with its teeth. Somehow, it didn't seem too bothered by it. David and Kamut continued to tear into the somewhat confused banes as they looked around for their meaty snack.
There is something terribly frightening about a charging werewolf in frenzy, but the Scrag didn't seem to care. It was a bane born for murder and pain, a footsoldier of the Wyrm. But it could not have expected the force of Saxon's charge. He ripped into the scrag with both claws. The scrag bit back into his throat and ripped it out. It didn't seem to matter to Saxon at all. With blood gushing from the open wound, he continued to slash at it. Soon there was very little left of it standing. But there were more red shapes, and they also needed to die. With the threat neutralised, Saxon did not distinguish friend from enemy, and attacked the closest target, completely oblivious to the fact that it was his alpha.
Eh! How the hell do you kill a Scrag in one turn?
Vasara takes 3 levels of aggravated damage. Regains rage for first blood and another for failing miserably. Saxon takes 5 levels of aggravated damage. Doesn't care - attacks Vasara. Anna and Max reach the pit and can attack in 1 turn if they decide to join the fray.
Pack Initiative: 13 Vasara: 2/1/4 - on 3 aggravated, no penalties. Saxon: 1/2/2 – on 6 aggravated, no penalties. (Still Frenzied. Declare attacks.) Kamut: 0/3/2
David: 15 (0/1/2) - 17 on 1 aggravated. Hounds: 9
The hounds, completely unperturbed by the fact that the Scrag was in pieces, continued to attack. Confused by Vasara's jump, they rounded and attacked the others instead. The injured one attacked David, and the second one snapped at Kamut.

Fight, kill, slash. That was the thoughts hammering through Saxon as he attacked whatever was in front of him.
(Use willpower to try and stop frenzy.)

Anna reached the pit and searched around frantically for the place she had dropped her bow. The hole in her lung was slowing her down, and she was practically on her last legs. But it wasn't time to give up. Not just yet.

This seemed to be one of those days when everything went just straight to hell. And image of Saxon charging him just proved it. Bastard was wounded, as was Vasara. He was tough, but Vasara liked to think himself tough too. That was the problem. Vasara could attack Saxon to subdue him, but then they both might die as Vasara knew he could not hold back when Saxon went all-out.
All there was left to do was to actually use Saxons frenzy to his disadvantage. Frenzied garou went all-out, and with a simple maneuvers he might be able to steer Saxons Rage against the hounds. He would anyways attack closest target. Vasara seemed to radiate again the might of Fenris-wolf himself, maybe he would get a small advantage if Saxon would, even in his frenzy, be momentarily distracted.
Vasara steeled himself for Saxons first attack, then took a firm hold of Saxon's head and using huge garou's own momentum tossed him at the Wyrmhounds.
((Time for Ninja-actions: activate Visage, Splitted main action: grapple Saxon, then toss him at hounds, Will on grappling-part.))

David still continued his assault against the hounds and even without his fury, he still continued to hack and slash the hound, but hoped that Vasara could keep Saxon from killing all of the pack.

Anna found her her bow near the pit where she had dropped it to attack the Black Spiral Dancer. Hands of Mercy's body was a few steps away, lying in the pit. The shadowy clouds had dissipated, and the bane was dead. But the pit was still crawling with a thousand other slimy things. Near Hands of Mercy lay the second bane arrow, still unused. But getting to it would mean crossing the slimy things, and they didn't look friendly.
Saxon slowed his charge. Maybe another target was a better idea. He didn't get to make that choice, however. Vasara grabbed him by the arm and flung him away. Saxon was not really thinking of anything besides war. He wasn't thinking to steady himself or keep his footing. He stumbled back a good few metres, tripped on the rubble, and hit his head on the ground. The red things got fuzzy, and he passed out.
Meanwhile, David and Kamut continued to battle the hounds, who were more intent on killing and seemed to have no sense of self-preservation. Kamut tried to avoid the bite, but he tripped on the uneven ground and the hound bit into his thigh, tearing out a large chunk of flesh and almost ripping off his leg completely. David clawed his hound, and tore another piece of it, but it retaliated with two successive snaps at his side. The second one tore into David's left thigh. It bit hard and tore at the limb until it came off.
Though a lot more resilient than Kamut, David still felt the teeth tear out a small chunk of flesh. He couldn't put his weight on his leg any more, and felt shaky. The hound looked torn up, but it didn't seem to notice. It continued to attack.
David takes 4 levels of aggravated damage and gains a point of rage. Hounds enter frenzy.
Pack Initiative: 13 Vasara: 2/1/3 - on 3 aggravated, no penalties. Saxon: 0/2/1 - on 6 aggravated + 1 bashing. (frenzy passes, but incapacitated) Anna: 0/1/1 - on 6 aggravated
David: 11 (0/1/1) - on 5 aggravated. Hounds: 15
Max: 18 (1/1/2) - on 5 aggravated
One way or another, this is ending soon.

David put his last pieces of strength into dodging the hound that had just taken a chunk out of his leg. He used a bit more of his fury and lashed out with a claw that he hoped would take apart the hound in one strike.

Anna descended into the pit despite the slimy things. She kept her mouth and eyes shut, and hoped they wouldn't crawl into her ears and noise. She felt around for the arrow, grabbed it, loaded it, and shot it wildly. It would hit the nearest bane even without aiming.
(Use last will to ignore wound penalties. Split to load, activate, and shoot the bow.)

Vasara was not sure if Saxon was alive or not after the toss, but he pushed those bad thoughts away. At least he got now a good chance to tear the flanks and backs of the hounds open.
Vasara attacked both hounds, starting from the one that bit Kamut. This had to end now, even if he needed to forget his own safety for the sake of others.
((Main action: claw Kamut's hound, Rage 1: claw Davids hound, Rage 2: Claw Kamuts hound.))

Max let his charge do most of the damage. He ran, teeth first, into the hound that David was fighting, and then let his charge continue into the second hound.
((Just a fancy way of saying: bite first hound (split actions), bite second hound with rage + willpower to ignore wounds))

The hounds did not seem to be weighed down by their injuries. They continued to attack, outnumbered and half-dead.
Max reached the group and bit into the bane's side. He ripped its hind leg right off, but he might as well have petted it for all it cared. It continued to tear at David with its teeth. David was intent on surviving this battle, though, and he dodged out of the way just in time. Vasara's attack came at around the same time and took the second leg off, and the bane was now just roaring and foaming at the mouth, unable to move. David put it down with relative ease, even though he was exhausted.
Anna fired off the last arrow, not even sure where it would hit. She was barely standing, and the slimy things were crawling all over her, dragging her deeper and deeper into the pit. Soon she would be drowning in them.
The second hound took a last bite out of Kamut and rounded on Vasara, only to be greeted with a faceful of claws from him. It was ready to bite back though, and dig its teeth into Vasara. But Anna's arrow hit it square in the back, and it stopped in mid-attack and screamed, flailed, and spluttered. Max and Vasara's final attacks ripped it into three separate pieces.
The banes were dead. Blood and flesh littered the area. The three metis bodies lay dead among the rubble. But so did the bane, the hounds, the scrags, and one Black Spiral Dancer. The War Wolf, injured and weary, roared and chased down the fleeing banes with Cloud-Dancer close behind him. Most of them were cut down before they reached the wall.
And Saxon blinked and slowly regained consciousness. The last thing he remembered was the scrag, challenging him to battle.
Resolution:
Dead: Kamut, Hands of Mercy, Maria.
Incapacitated: Claire Adiyah, kidney damage - 2 Glory
Others: Vasara: 3 aggravated damage Saxon: 6 aggravated damage, extensive scarring (chest and back), deep wound (throat) - 2 Glory David: 5 aggravatad damage, deep wound (side), deep wound (right thigh) - 2 Glory Anna: 6 aggravated damage, collapsed lung - 2 Glory (hallucinating) Max: 5 aggravated damage, extensive scarring - 1 Gory
Combat Resolved.

Vasara looked at Saxon. "Sorry about the bump. I had to take you out." he grinned, happy to see him alive. He was a tough ahroun, and Vasara judged he would be ok. He looked at David and touched his wounds. "Help the wounded." he said in human words.
Vasara rose up and howled out loud their victory. His howl was short and brutal, and he needed to start working on survivors. "Carry the bodies, dead or wounded, in one place!" he roared and took a look at those still standing. They would need to make sacrifices to the Warwolf too soon, if he was left wounded, he might get overrun when still healing and that would eat away their Victory.
Vasara himself took Kamut and carefully carried him next to the pit where Hands of Mercy was laying. He closed metis' eyes with his hand and spoke a short prayer for him. He had been a good packmate for a long time. "You were just a metis runt, but you fought and died like Fenrir. See you in Valhalla, you ugly mutt." he finished and stood up. He turned Hands-of-Mercy around. "Take him there with you, or we will have a serious conversation when my turn comes to enter the Golden Halls." he smiled. For some reason the dead rat made him sad too. It had fought with Spirals, showing that other shifters also were vulnerable to Wyrm. Vasara gently wiped Hands-of-Mercy's face to shut his eyes too. "Horrors of this war is over for you now."
He raised his voice. "Anna. What are you doing? The living needs you."

Max straightened up and looked around. "Nice hit," he said to David. He hadn't met him yet, so he didn't how he didn't speak the Mother's Tongue.
He looked around, hoping Yvonne had brought Claire and Adiyah. He was too worried for his pack to stand around for long. He scanned the area, and caught sight of Anna thrashing around in the pit. That was who he needed.
He climbed into the pit. "I need your help," he said. "Please?" Whether or not she responded, he picked her up and took her out of the pit to heal his pack. There was no time to waste now. He needed a healer.
